Comment: Had the 14 piece omakase at the bar and it was delicious! The mix of Thai and Japanese flavors was unique and flavorful. For the price, this is a good deal. I enjoyed most of the pieces, but what stood out to me were the tunas, oyster, eels, smoked scallop, and wagyu with monkfish liver.Sake pairings were okay, and dessert was cute but seemed out of place with the quality of the omakase.Service was nice and tentative. Cocktails were fun and enjoyable too.Recommended.

Comment: A hidden gem! I’ve been wanting to go to this place for a long time and finally went for dinner with my friend. We ordered TUNA RICE CRACKER(rec!), STONE GRILLED WAGYU(my favorite!), CRYING TIGER STEAK(mediocre), 11TIGERS TOM YUM RAMEN(the biggest shrimp I’ve ever seen). The service and atmosphere are average. It’s creamy, little spicy, perfect match with noodle or even white rice!!!Tom Yum Ramen I felt little salty, and the steak is too chewy. Not much option for main dish.Their drinks are very good! Recommend Bad Kitty on Fire, which is their signature I guess. Many people order it. I also ordered a non-alcohol one. It’s lemonade base, but not sour at all. Setting the fire caught all the eyeballs. People can obtain visionally and gustatory delights.Besides, they have really good atmosphere, it’s a good place hang out with friends. Since it’s not in a busy area, I can also find parking easily.

Comment: The decoration of this place is super cute, when you enter you are greeted in a very friendly way. The food came to the table super fast. My favorite dish was the black panther curry, the sauce was good, the noodles were cooked to perfection, the karaage don chicken was good but I’ve had better. I did not like the tuna rice cracker, I was expecting something different it had not flavor, just like the larb tuna. The bad kitty on fire was delicious, you can never go wrong with mezcal and yuzu. This place is worth a try.

Definitely has that speakeasy feel with dimmed lighting. The cocktails were definitely a show, IG worthy and tasted amazing. Each cocktail is unique and you cant go wrong with any them. They also have happy hour until 7pm! We ordered the bengal ebi shumai, the scallop chin (the presentation was phenomenal and the scallop + uni literally melts in your mouth and was super fresh!), the stone grilled ribeye (one of my favorite), the tom yum ramen (very flavorful), and the mentai (a bit soggy in my opinion). Would definitely come back and try their other drinks!

I really enjoyed the seared rib eye in panang curry with squid ink fettucine and the hoy yai oysters were super fresh. Some of the misses were the 11 Tigers Mentai and the tuna cracker.

The menu is extensive and it’ll be hard to choose from all their amazingly well designed plates and fun drinks. The only downside is the bar. It appears as if there isn’t a lot of drink options. And the bar looks as though it could use a makeover. But the rest of the place looks great. Pretty roomy. Beautiful windows towards the back. Low lighting spacious. At this Japanese and Thai venue, I found the Karaage is a good started before the main course. Very delicious. I had 2 of the ‘Top 5 Entrees’. So far …The Tom Yum Ramen was by far my favorite from everything I ate here. If you love steak, The Crying Tiger Steak is a must have. Another dish I had is The Golden Uni Sashimi. This was exquisite. The waiter blows smoke all over this dish which sits on a hot stone. Great for pics and videos. Must eat fast though as it does get cold really quick. The drinks were amazing. The waiter blow torches the Bad Kitty On Fire drink right on your table. I can’t remember the name of the other drink I ordered. But I’ll post the picture here. It looks reddish and looks like there’s a tigers eyeball in it. It’s a mix of tequila, passion fruit… black salted rim. Looks incredible and taste super great. This place also has some tiger masks if customers want to wear and take pictures with them. The service was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely come back to try everything else on their menu.

The drinks were also incredible; I got the Sua Dum, and I loved the creativity, including the dry chili on top of the drink. The only downside was the waittime--we were there for almost 3 hours waiting for the food to come out, but it could be because we were a bigger group.

While I only tried an appetizer and some of the cocktails which were all around quite good, I would go back to try their unique menu offerings of Japanese and Thai fusion cuisine. We made a reservation though, highly recommend making one just in case!Food/Pricing - Tuna Rice Cracker - $14 - Literally tuna on top of a rice cracker. It was good! Although I do think it would be better with actual crispy rice but it was still good.Crying Tiger Steak - $24 - I expected something thicker but was told this thin meats is the way its done. We got it medium rare and it was perfect! Crispy and the sauce went along well with it!Mentaiko Cream Udon - $18 - This had so much potential but it was a bit too mayonnaise-y for our party. Could be more tasty.Service/Ambiance - The place is dimly lit but it goes with the speakeasy feel of the establishment. Both were sweet though not overpowering.For locals, they kept much of the decor from Pouring Ribbons with a few changes here and there to accommodate a dining experience. Its still a very nice vibe inside with some fun tigers etc. here and there.The food is fantastic, they do a Japanese Thai fusion and all 3 of us were in love with our dishes. We had the Crying Tiger Gyoza and Stone Grilled Ribeye for appetizers and they were both amazing, the ribeye is only a small piece big enough for two or three bites, but is probably the best piece of meat Ive ever had. We had the Tom Yum Ramen, Kee Mao Tiger Udon, and Tuna Mini Don for entrees and they were all not only very good but very unique in terms of umami and overall flavor. I rarely say this, but Id be comfortable shooting from the hip at this restaurant and ordering anything off the menu (as long as its not something youd obviously dislike of course)Overall a strong recommend from me! Cocktails were also amazing, of course get the fire ones for a theatrical moment. We went on a busy Saturday night and they were down a server so they were a bit slow to get to us. However, they were super apologetic and nice about it, and my group was able to hang out and chit chat, so it actually worked in our favor. The atmosphere is energetic and vibrant, fun for a group dinner! Lots of people dressed in theme with animal printed attire and I definitely regret missing the memo. Comment: We were seated at a comfortable table under a gigantic painting of Tiger and true to the restaurants name, tigers are everywhere down to the chopstick holders. The staff are very helpful and attentive. After my order of cocktail: Bad Kitty on Fire was brought over, she patiently waited for me to take pictures of her butane torch and then showed me how to put out the fire in the lime zest. Our cocktails were great, so is the food and the decor is elegantly, which is not typically in East Village. The price is reasonable and definitely will go back.
