Comment: Mango roll was decent I loved the pickles radish roll and as well as the avocado and peanut roll! But the main takeaway was the sweet potato roll. I was not a fan of the shrimp mango roll, but not everyone can get a perfect meal

Comment: I really appreciate Akaru. They deliver SO fast, and theyre more reasonably priced than most sushi places of equivalent quality. There are certainly fancier spots with nicer digs, but Akaru is at a perfect cross section of price/quality that keeps me coming back.

Comment: This is a pretty basic, cheap sushi place. Fine for a cheap quick lunch. If youre looking for something more upscale, this is not the place. Their $9 lunch special with 2 rolls, a salad, and miso soup is a pretty good deal, though.

Comment: I havent tried a lot of sushi places but I liked the food from here. So far, everything was satisfying. I went to eat in during the summer and it really is not that cool in there except for some fans but it wasnt enough. They have a bathroom you can use, its clean. Its a medium size place. The waiting staff is ok.

Comment: I had the Philadelphia roll, the New York roll, and the spicy tuna. Everything was so good, so fresh. Lots of ginger, if thats important to you. I looked for something to complain ab but couldnt find anything. Ill try again tomorrow.

Comment: Pretty decent spot for some Sushi and other Japanese fare. The sushi chefs are right in the dining room preparing your rolls. Lunch special is a good deal with many menu options including rolls, udon, and fried rice that is if you can make it in time around 12-3 dont quote me. Give it a shot if youre in the area craving sushi.

Comment: Dined here last night and it was incredible. We ordered goyza and the rolled beef with scallions for appetizers. Perfect start to the meal for us. We ordered the American Dream roll and Yaki Vegetable Udon, both delicious, and finished with mochi ice cream and fried ice cream. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. We will be returning!
