Comment: The bartender was attentive, kind, chill, knowledgeable. Drinks were great. I came after my session of hot yoga next door. Instead of being responsible and going to the grocery store, I decided I needed a cocktail. The music was great, the other patrons were also very low key and chill. I had their HH martini in gin and then in vodka. Great deal and served with a pickled shallot (nostalgic for me and a fave).

Comment: One of my favorite experience i ever had in this small bar. Customer service is priority for this owner and the bartender was excellent and had a great time talking with her. The wings were crispy and full of flavor and my favorite drink was the koji-san of course made mezcal and infused with celery. I will definitely come back to NIban!

Comment: Fun little spot in Park Slope. Amazing bar snacks- craveable wings unlike any youve ever had before, and somehow theyve made celery desirable and sexy. Yes, I said SEXY. Very knowledgable bartenders who make amazing cocktails. I cant wait to go back.

Comment: Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The first great thing is that It is literally located at the mouth of the Bergen St. Subway stop. Making it easy to get to. The entrance does not indicate that there is so much magic behind it therefore you are stunned when you walk in. On entry my friend and I felt like we walked into Japan. Very beautiful decor. The food and drinks were exceptional to say the least. Service was absolutely wonderful. Very personable staff!

Comment: Atmosphere was nice. The drinks are interesting combinations of Japanese flavors and spirits. They were a bit hit or miss to me and on the pricey side.Service wasn’t the friendliest when I went. However they are very strict with covid policy and checking vax card which is great.Food looks good, I’d come back to try it.

Comment: The big standout hits for us were the wings, celery sticks (seriously), and dry sake. Also, I highly recommend ordering a Manhattan here - it’s served with an extra sidecar on ice and hits the Goldilocks zone between sweet and boozy.

Comment: Such a cute intimate spot, if youve been to the other location in LES youll know what to expect, not much difference. Nice place to enjoy before or after dinner for snacks/pregaming. Good location not too far from Barclays Center. There appears to be only 1 or 2 indoor tables, the rest are by the bar. We got lucky without reservations but youre probably better off getting one on a weekend or rainy day. Miso wings were easy to eat and crispy. The vegetarian croquettes were good but on the heavy side. We got the melon daiquiri and another drink that was light and spritzy, I think it had grapefruit in it. So good! Cant go wrong with anything here!

Comment: Exceptional cocktails where you can taste the full potency and deliciousness of every single ingredient. All of their yuzu-forward drinks were extraordinary, and their bar snacks equally as luxurious and well thought out. Loved their chicken wings and chips with salmon roe. Can’t wait to go back!Bonus points for a truly aesthetically-pleasing (and safe!) outdoor dining set-up: elegant lighting, seating, and well-placed heat lamps.

If I had to guess I would say it’s a light amount of rice flour, making for an insane textural experience. All the flaps are clipped into individual wings, so you can properly clean these bad boys in a hurry. Flavor was incredible, bursting with miso and sesame and a subtle building heat.The Kombu Celery was not just a side piece in this adventure, but a star of its own. Salted kombu, red shiso, and sesame.
