Comment: I thought this was a high class, nice classy restaurant and we were seated next to a couple and the woman had on this tiny white see through shirt with no bra on and it was a see thru shirt. And young men were wearing fitted hats and dressed very gangster and inappropriate. We loved the food but the atmosphere was so disappointing.

He worked his audience (us) and the hibachi grill like a master. The table (or grill) across from us was looking over enviously as Tenzin was such a great entertainer as well as cooking the food perfectly. Superb fun and great food for the price. Comment: The customer service was hit or miss for me. The food was above average, but definitely not the best I’ve had. The experience of watching the hibachi being made, and sharing the meal with 5 other strangers was actually quite fun. I had the lotus tempura sushi roll and beef fried rice. Sushi and fried rice were made in the BOH, and that was a bummer. However, it was tasty; so that made up for the lack of a “wow factor” experience. Overall, you’re paying for an amazing dining experience; not so much for amazing food out outstanding customer service.

Comment: The atmosphere was perfect; I stopped in this past Wednesday for a bite to each following a stroll down the infamous Fifth Ave Shops- 59th St. Around noon I ordered the lunch option: filet mignon, with chicken fried rice and veggies. Also, it came with a delicious broth soup. For my beverage choice I decided on a glass of Merlot. I went with the 14 Hands- Washington State choice; next time I will try the Duckhorn from Napa Valley, CA. My overall experience was great. Perfect option if you are close to the area and like hibachi style cuisine. I also want to highlight my server Shahana (I will leave her business card in the photo options.) And a thank you to chef Aneury for such a wonderful experience. 5/5

Comment: I hadn’t been to Benihana in years… And it was a pleasant experience. We actually went for my birthday with a group of seven. The service was excellent and the food was great as always. The room was very full with lots of parties, and was not too loud. I think Benihana is a place you need to go with a large group… Because if you don’t, you will be sitting with strangers, which which can be fun… Or awkward. Overall, I think Benihana is a great place to celebrate a special occasion! Also, it is very kid friendly!

The server who took our food was a bit slow at understanding our instructions. They also ran out of ice so we had warm water. The food was fresh but nothing extraordinary, their seasonings for the food are black pepper and salt. The miso soup and salad were okay. I had the salmon bento box to get a taste of everything and the best was the salmon. I recommend a visit if you’re in the city.

Comment: I was a bit skeptical with covid numbers spiking again especially since usually the seats are very close. But this location has taken the necessary precautions to make you feel safe. They also take your temperature before you enter the establishment. You sit 6 feet away from other guest and the chef still does those awesome food tricks. The drinks are awesome the hostess and waitress were super friendly. I would definitely go back when the world opens up again. Great experience.

I ordered a pina colada. It tasted like a typical ice cream slushi down to the pineapple syrup at the bottom of the glass. I barely tasted any liquor in it. My most pleasant surprise was the onion broth soup. I hate onions but this soup was so mild i found it delicious. I ordered spicey chicken with fried rice (extra charge). Comment: Just went here with a party of 4. We were seated with a family of 3. This was my first time here and it was amazing. The staff was very kind. I made reservations a few days prior to visiting. I booked the occasion for a birthday. It only took us 5 minutes to sit down. Our server was Devin, he was amazing and funny. I had 2 kids in my party and they were well entertained. The meals were cooked to order and the soup and salad was also amazing. We shares the punch bowl drink. At the end of the meal they sang happy birthday and one more time in japanese. I will be coming back but with a bigger group. If you are on the fence about coming here my suggestion is that you go, but make a reservation because they tend to get crowed

Comment: I went with my girlfriend for a Hibachi dinner and that is what we got. It is definitely not inexpensive by any means, but the food is great, the portions are fair and our Hibachi chef was friendly, fun, and an amazing chef especially with his knife skills. We enjoyed our time even though this is a touristy chain restaurant. I would go back.

Comment: If you havent been to a hibachi restaurant yet, please do because its a cool experience. The chef comes to your table and prepares your order right in front of you. They also sprinkle cool tricks and humor while cooking which makes it even more fun.The restaurant has decent but limited vegetarian options. The ones that are available are decent but nothing to write home about. Meat eaters on our table loved the food. Ill probably be back with a guest to have them experience this but not necessarily for the food.

Comment: The food is really good, but slightly pricey lol. Totally worth the experience if youve never been before. I will say before you leave you will be smiling like whatever is being cooked lol. Oh also get EXTRA garlic butter in your fried rice if thats something you like.

Comment: The food is excellent and because they cook in front of you, which is actually a real cooking show, you can smell the food around and it smells crazy good. Price are moderate. Overall succulent food, great show, you gonna spend a great moment.
