Comment: Went here for an early Valentine’s Day dinner with the lady and had an awesome time. Luckily I had read that there were no markings outside and you have to walk down a hallway to get into the restaurant or else I would’ve been lost lol. This contributes to the restaurants super specific, very cool ambiance. I thought the Mac and cheese was good, I thought the chicken karaage, and the truffle creamed spinach were very good, and the wagyu tartare was great! But the main event was the Miyazaki Wagyu steak. This steak was possibly the best I’ve ever had. Upon eating it my girlfriend turned and reported “This is the best piece of steak I’ve ever had.”Drinks were all awesome, experience was great, and I’ll definitely be bringing people to this place. Absolutely loved it.

Comment: Privileged to have came to this restaurant twice. Intimate setting, laid back, great food and very attentive staff. My love partner brought me here for Valentines Day and recently for my birthday. It’s one of his favorite restaurant. Their tasting menu were exquisite and their ala carte menu is actually really reasonably priced. Definitely holds a lot of food memories here. And special thanks and shoutout to the very well appreciated handwritten greetings with my birthday cake!

Comment: My friend took me here while I was visiting NYC and it was a great experience! I loved wagyu and foie rice even though I did not taste much foie. Wagyu platter was excellent also! Karaage is great too. The only perplexing dish was vegetable fondue (photo attached) which was actually recommended to us. It’s literally some cut up veggies with melted cheese… why?! But everything else was delicious and the service was very attentive.

She would extremely helpful with the options I could eat as a vegetarian. The atmosphere was very midcentury modern, with cozy, & candle lit. I loved the attention to detail and the focus on customers. The mac and cheese was amazing.Would definitely go again and recommend to friends.

Comment: A charming hideaway inside of Basquiat’s former work/live space. Book ahead - there are no walk-ins partially because this is an in-the-know place and partially because the space is small and intimate. The staff is very attentive, the plates are expertly prepared and the cocktails are inspired. Plan to share. Most plates are bite-sized and packed with flavor. Menu items are French-inspired like fondue, tartare, and roasted vegetables with heavy Japanese influences. While sushi was on the menu the night we visited, we stayed focused on the wagyu beef, which was outstanding as a sashimi dish.

Comment: This restaurant provides a secret phone number in order to get a reservation. The restaurant itself is inspired by the Japanese culture from the small space and foods they have as the restaurant is named Bohemian so is the interior design. The server was very friendly, we ordered some alcohol drinks which I was very fascinated by, while looking into the menu they had provide QR barcodes on the table however it was taking us very long time until the server arrived to order our food they might have forgotten to take our orders but somehow we understand that the servers are very busy on taking care of their other customers who showed up the same time, likely they asked us to leave and give us the check at 8.30 pm when we havent finished our food yet by telling us they had other customers coming for reservation which was not our responsibility if they hadnt left us waiting on taking our orders. From the appetizer we ordered the truffle and cream spinach with the french baguette, it was very well seasoned and creamy. We also ordered the Wagyu and Uni which comes in two pieces it was very well presented and the Uni is very rich however I would have take a little more seasoning on the wagyu. From the Meat section we ordered the Washugyu-Beef Steak Platter that has roasted potatoes and sweet potatoes it was very crispy and nicely brown they had given us 2 options from the Steak on the right it was more lean that would fit together with the sauce they had provided and on the left it was very juicy that would fit together with a pinch of sea salt I will totally recommend to order the Steak Platter which was absolutely delicious . Lastly we got the Pan Seared Duck Breast that comes with red miso and arugula salad to make the taste even, unfortunately the duck was overcooked and hardly to chew.Im thanking the restaurant from giving us a nice journey of their cookings and servings, I will come back and try other foods from the menu.

Comment: Bohemian is literally a hidden gem in East Village since you need to walk through an aisle in order to find the entrance. It is located right next to Japan Premium Beef, which is one of our favorite spots for high quality beef.Their outdoor dining area is humble and simple with heater that’s not too strong. We felt extremely freezing while dining so we recommend to have take-out or delivery.Their food is delicate and delicious, especially the mushroom risotto. They are well-prepared for the restaurant week and serve 5 different options with a valuable price.

Comment: Really fun little restaurant. Sad we still cant eat inside but outdoor dining was also great. My wife and I got the beef tartare, salmon kamameshi, mix cut of beef, and the black cod. Everything was superb. Since we were dining outside though the beef got kind of cold a bit too quickly so I would suggest maybe not doing a steak or a big plate of beef unless you are with a big group that can get through it quickly. The meat was nice but you cant really sit down and enjoy it. Will definitely come again.

Comment: I’ve been coming to speakeasy Japanese restaurant Bohemian for over ten years now and it’s still my favorite place in NoHo. I’m not kidding when I say that there was a time when we used to come here every month. It’s a “secret” restaurant, where you won’t be able to get reservations unless you have their phone number, but now they are open for online reservations and takeout/delivery for the first time ever. The restaurant is housed inside a building that used to be Andy Warhol’s apartment and this is part of the experience.Although this is a Japanese restaurant the food is more Japanese-European fusion than Japanese. They have a tasting menu as well as an a la carte menu. While there will be some dishes from their tasting menu on the a la carte menu, I would highly recommend doing the tasting menu if it’s your first time here because it has all of their signature dishes and the tasting menu is really affordable for a restaurant of this quality. The tasting menu usually comes with the vegetable fondue, uni croquet, pan-roasted branzino, beef sashimi, a choice of either the sashimi rice bowl or the washu beef mini burgers, and then the dessert. Everything is amazing and you seriously can’t go wrong with ordering anything off their menu even if you decide to do the a la carte. Due to COVID19 indoor dining is prohibited in New York until further notice so while you can still do takeout or delivery from Bohemian, you’ll have to wait to do the tasting menu until they reopen for indoor dining, but hopefully this will give you something to look forward to!

Comment: This place is fantastic! It was a little hard getting a reservation, however they were really good at following up with me whenever anything became available.Everything we tried was simply fantastic, except for the steak, it was a HUGE let down (hence the 4 stars). Considering the price I would have hoped the steak wouldnt be chewy, my jaw hurt just from trying to chew it and I got it medium.Ill be back but will certainly be avoiding the steak.

It was anything but. It’s like sitting in someone’s lounge room - the vibe is very relaxed. The staff are excellent. So friendly, so attentive. We ordered four main dishes and a side (which was a LOT!) as well as a cocktail. The Mint Gold cocktail was excellent.Every dish was outstanding, but especially the branzino - would come back just for that! We considered doing the $80 tasting menu but decided ordering our own and we had a lot for about $55 each. It’s not the cheapest place to go, but it’s worth every cent.

Comment: A secret hidden Japanese modern restaurant. Reservation only, and either you dine here before of you need to refer by someone to make a reservation. We made 6:30 bar seats. Actually I think its good, the table was tall with plenty of room. I used to seat regular seat. Somehow I feel the table was too low to eat. So I think bar seat was perfect! We start with farmer fresh vegetable fondue. The vegetable was super fresh. But the cheese was super delicious! We finish all the cheese lol. The pic was small size. Good for 2 -3 people to shareUni croquette: crispy outsize with creamy mushroom filling. And few uni in the top. Really incredible. But it was $20sth for 1 piece. Not cheap!Mac and cheese: It was really good. And Mac and cheese was really creamy and cheesy. The top tomato toast balance the heavy cheese taste.Washi beef tartare: good quality of beef, not much seasoning. You dip the salt and mustard. You can taste of real beef.Pan fried branzino- this is one of my favorite dish. 2 of us order a large one! And I order this everytime I come. Whole dish was incredible. The fish was juicy and fresh. And the vegetable on the side like potatoes, mushroom, zucchini, was so delicious. I recommend you order this when you come!Matcha cake: like fresh matcha hot cake. The moganstern strawberry icecream was really good.It was really nice restaurant. The ambiance was great, and the food is always amazing. And the secret hidden part just made me want to come back everytime haha!

Comment: What’s this? A secret restaurant in NYC? One, that you can only dine at either by knowing someone who has dined there, or writing essentially an essay as to why you love food. Ladies and gents, I was able to secure their phone number for a reservation by writing to them. Was it worth it? Heck, yes it was. I’ve wanted to dine at Bohemian ever since I saw the video on Eater touting their short rib sashimi. By perusing their hundreds of restaurant reviews, I can say that I was intrigued. How can I visit NYC, without dining here? It was inevitable. I called their number and asked if I could make a reservation a month later for a party of 6. Done and done.

Comment: Its a nice little secret off Great Jones, with a wonderfully modern Asian setting. The tasting menu changes monthly but certain staples like the steak tartar and macncheese are constants. The restaurant yearns to be more than it is. Excellent platings, well paired dishes and complementary tastes are offset by ingredients that just dont match the obvious to talent that went into creating them. Fish is occasionally too fishy. Steak occasionally is closer to a 98/2 ground beef. Lamb chops too dry and sauces lack complexity. But one can obviously tell the front, and back of house are putting their all into your experience. And its wonderful...but just held back by those darned ingredients.

Comment: Bohemians experience lies mostly in the ambience and atmosphere. Sure it probably took a little work to get in this referral-only place but its worth the back and forth email exchanging to arrange a reservation. Format of the menu consists of a la carte, tasting menu (selected), as well as an omakase offering. All dishes are perfectly prepared that pair well with an interesting drinks menu. The one oversight from the service was not being informed that our service was timed until 15 minutes after the fact. While a minor mishap, I would certainly return.

Comment: Really great surprise from my honey for our anniversary. We ordered the omakase set. Was worth. Everything paired well with the cocktails we ordered. The steak was well cooked. Since he enjoys it more well than I, it was nice that the skillet continued to cook his meat more for him. If you tell them ahead of time, you can get icecream with a nice note wishing you happy anniversary. We found out because the couple next to us had that presented to them. Unfortunately, no such surprise for us. However, the omakase was really quite filling eitherway - and comes with its own dessert.

Comment: It is always a pleasure to dine there. Not a perfect score because they overcooked both the burger and the steak this time - which they apologized profusely and offered a courtesy dessert. I am sure they would redo it if there wasnt the time restraint of two hours per seating (we were there at the earlier dining slot). Very attentive service, cozy ambience, great food. A must go place in NYC worth the effort to get their number and book 30 days in advance.

Comment: Native New Yorker Jean-Michel Basquiat lived and worked in the loft of this building, which was then owned by Andy Warhol. Previously a horse stable and london dance hall saloonin lhe 1900s, i was here lhe artist created the work that caught the top galleries. Basquiats short life came to an abrupt end after he died from a heroin overdose at the age of 27 in 1988. While the builing now houses semi-secret Japanese restaurant called Bohemian, a commemorative plaque sitting outside the building acknowledging the 5 years Basquiat lived there.

Comment: Nice Japanese restaurant. We were interested in the Omakase menu but I have a shellfish allergy and they dont do substitutions while requiring the whole table to order the same type of menu so we went with the tasting menu. All of the food was tasty and well presented but none of it blew us away. Its a small restaurant with lounge chairs and sofas (for groups of 4). It looks nice but is uncomfortable for a long meal. The acostics are a bit off as we could hear one very loud conversation from another table, which I feel disrupted the atmosphere. The service was quick, maybe too much so. They were clearing my partners dishes and wiping the center of the table while I was still mid-course. But my water glass was always full. The price point is very reasonable - $100 for Omakase and $80 for the tasting menu.

Comment: Delicious hidden spot in NoHo. The restaurant is located behind a retail store in Andy Warhol’s old apartment. You wouldn’t know about this place unless you’re a New Yorker so no tourists here for sure. My only qualm is, this restaurant is too pretentious for what it is. You have to be invited to dine here and when you do come, the food is great, don’t get me wrong. But, the food is not outstanding enough that should claim an “invite only” policy. It’s not even Michelin recommended or starred! Go through the hassle to explain why you should dine here but don’t expect the best meal of your life.

Comment: Great food, drinks and environment. Very helpful and knowledgable waiter (forgot his name, tall, slender Japanese gentleman). I deduct a star because of the fuss and attention they place on gaining access to the reservations. Was truly a bit of hassle to book, and then upon arrival (5 mins early), we were asked to wait an extra 15 minutes past our reservation time for our table. I believe if one reputes themselves on such exclusive entry, the service and hospitality should be held to the same standard.Hostess seemed a bit rude and short with us upon arrival, waiters took a while to take our order at first, and food took a long time to arrive at our table. The food also came out a bit staggered, and took too long in between dishes. Again, if Bohemian didnt make such a fuss about their reputation and exclusivity I would not complain one bit, but I expect more from a place that exudes such pretension.Food was fire tho, cannot lie one bit. Smoked Tuna, Mac and Cheese and Miso Cod were all amazing and great together. Our waiter ended up being very attentive and kind at the end, and the food was great.Ive lived in NYC for 14 years now, I suggest to maybe go on an off night, might have less to deal with. But I feel that standard should be held high at all times

Comment: It took a bio in order to get a phone number to this place. After some time I was given the number and able to make a reservation. They are taken up to 1 month in advance and they were able to accommodate us for my wifes birthday. When you arrive there is no sign as you can see from the online photos. Take the hallway on the side until you reach a door that is covered. They will buzz you in and you enter a small private restaurant. The decor is very speak easy style with a nice in door garden in the back of the place. There is bar seating as well. We were shown to our table and I am not a tall guy (57) but the chairs and table are shorter style and was a bit awkward to sit and eat but we managed. The drink menu was first and if you like cocktails they have a variety to suit everyone with very eclectic drinks. There is a great selection of wine and sake as well. The drinks we had were wonderful. We did the Omakase tasting menu and left it to the chef and we were happy. One dish after another was crafted with perfection. The fish was so fresh that it melted in your mouth. The duck breast in broth was tender. The steak came out a perfect temperature and served with a side of truffle spinach mashed potatoes that were gone fast. The dessert I think could have been more interesting given the menu but the vanilla bean ice cream did taste silky. I highly recommend you give this place a chance.

We went with a group of friends for a birthday and was fortunate enough to try many of the dishes there. The food was amazing. We each got the coursed out meals and added a few extra dishes. It came out to be 7 or 8 course meal. We were so stuffed by the end and could barely finish the last few courses. The presentation was great and the service was excellent. Comment: It took a while to finally get the hookup to dine here, but managed to pull it off for a dating anniversary dinner. It did not disappoint at all. The place is very vibey, with super low tables and a variety of seating arrangements. Its small, so you feel special for being there. But the real star of the show, as you would hope, is the food and drink. We went with the Type C and Mint Gold cocktails, both of which were tasty, if not mind-blowing. To begin the meal, we went with the farmers fresh vegetable fondue, which tasted so good we swore those had to be genetically engineered veggies. There is no way to exaggerate how flavorful they were, and the garlic dipping sauce was killer. Next up was the tuna lauai, which I swear is one of the top 3 best-tasting dishes Ive ever had. We were allowed to get the sashimi rice bowl off of the prix fix menu, which had a great combination of flavor and texture. For the mains we went with the miso black cod and the mushroom risotto. both exceptional, before closing with the matcha molten cake for dessert. There was not a single thing I would not happily order again, and cant wait to go back and dine here again.

The only reason for the 4 stars was the service. Waitress acted like she didnt want to be there and they rushed us out to make room for the next seating. Also, the chairs were uncomfortable, more like couches and leather seats and I felt like I was hunched over the whole time. Other than that Ill be back.

Comment: Intimate lighting + Expensive living room furniture + Modern Art = Cozy dining environment at Bohemian. The place was small but felt very warm and inviting. The service was wonderful as the staff are both knowledgeable and friendly. We sat at the bar area, but to me, it looked like it was more comfortable than the low coffee table seatings. (im fairly tall, so id have to hunch over if eating at those tables). It also gave us an opportunity to watch the bartender do her magic. She put so much care into making out drinks, it seemed like art in motion. We ordered the cucumber cocktail, the cilantro cocktail, and a fruity strawberry cocktail. all of the drinks were delicious! For the meal, we both had the tasting menu ( i think everyone at the table has to order it if you want to get it). It included the veggie fondue, uni croquette, bronzini, sashimi, and yuzu panna cotta. My favorite parts were probably the Bronzini and yuzu panna cotta, although everything was delicious!.For 2 people both ordering the tasting menu, you get 1 bronzini to share. Its roasted in a cast iron skillet with potatoes, rosemary, capers, anchovies, mushrooms and cauliflower. It was super filling and delicious! The dessert was also delightful, but unfortunately i was so full by then that i could not finish the whole thing. I still look back regrettably at the last few bites that i left to waste. Will definitely be coming back!PS i will not give anyone who tries contacting me here a referral

Comment: Casual and elegant, this restaurant feels like an alternate dimension hybrid of a Japanese tea garden and your close friends tastefully decorated apartment living room. A lot of thought has clearly gone into creating the dishes, from the teriyaki sauce to burger patty ratio, to the layer construction of the chocolate layer cake, to the progression of the steak sampler from soft and fatty to nuanced and flavourful. This has been one of my favourite New York experiences, ever.

Comment: One of my favorite Japanese restaurant in NYC is Bohemian. Not only they have amazing food, but they have the best setting for relaxing, calm, cozy, and beautiful dining space. They are exclusive (referral-only) East Village Japanese restaurant, hidden behind a butcher shop. No open table reservation or walk-in allowed here. You either have to know someone who dined here personally, or, invited by the restaurant to dine here. By having this strict system, it is they created a place that is quiet, peaceful “hang-out” space for family and friends. As soon as you walk in, you are transported to an oasis, a space of perfect tranquility. They only have around 22 seating, plus around 6 counter seats at the bar. With this setting with limited seating, even when it is fully packed, you still don’t feel like you are in a crowded space. It is never going to be super loud, or people bumping into, or struggling to move around. For a larger parties of 4 or more, they have an area with sofas, so you are still able to relax and have a good time with your loved ones.We ordered their tasting menu and everything was superb, and they give you so much food that you will be completely full and then some. What you get here at Bohemian is not only the delicious food, but the whole experience. It will be one of the best dinner experience in the City for sure. To dine with the ones you love, at such relaxing, tranquil space is great, but to have such high quality food and drinks just take it to the next level. The server of this night was not very friendly or nice, which was disappointing… but you can’t always have the best server each time you visit. Our previous visit was even more fantastic because our server was a warm, kind, friendly person who welcomed us with big smile. I can’t wait to go back for some other dishes that they offer, as they have interesting and amazing menu outside the tasting course menu.

It feels a little bit like eating in Japan, especially because the toilet in the bathroom has a lot of functionality just like the ones in Japan! The food is great! My favorite would be the vegetable fondue. They get their steak from the Japanese Premium beef in front, which has really great cuts. They also have a great asian inspired cocktail lists and Japanese whiskey.

Comment: Bohemian restaurant is an intimate Japanese speakeasy that serves amazing gut-busting dishes (esp if you get their prix fixe for $58 pp). Three dishes they deliver exceptionally well: beef sashimi, roasted branzino, and Honey Lemon pannacotta.*Unfortunately, I will only share the number with people I know.Intimate- The restaurant can seat ~30 people maximum at one time. So very small space. And they only accept reservations for a Max of 6 people at one time.Due to the space limitation, they have Very strict policies. The FOOD was surprising and delicious.-The Farmers Fresh Vegetable Fondue was beautiful display of fresh daikon, white and orange baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red peppers, and radicchio. Beautiful, appetizing and fun to dip into the fondue.Fondue was warmed with a tea light candle.-Uni croquette was a mushroom croquette topped with uni.Great crispy mushroom croquette, I just wished the uni tasted more briny. Not my favorite but my friends enjoyed this dish very much.-The Washu short-rib Beef sashimi was so fatty, it had the consistency of oh-toro. I loved it! They gave condiments of wasabi, lemon, mushroom infused garlic and daikon. The best pairing was with mushroom infused garlic. The mushroom and garlic with the fatty beef melds into the perfect bite.-Pan roasted Branzini. I was surprised how delicious roasted fish can be. Easily one of the better dishes in the prix fixe menu. Roasted with olive oil, garlic, olives, baby potatoes, cauliflower, rosemary, anchovies, and zucchini. So good. I am definitely coming back to order this.-Kobe and angus beef sliders. Perfect medium rare. And they cooked 6 of them to the perfect T and doneness.Juicy, perfectly seasoned. Very good. What I loved more than the slider was the roasted potatoes accompanying this dish. Salty, crunchy, carmelized potatoes. OMG. too good.- Honey lemon yuzu panna cotta.Loved the Lemon and yuzu in the pannacotta. Very appetizing. The panna cotta was smooth and creamy. I would have asked for two if I wasnt so full.

Comment: AMAZING experience. The food is incredible, and the price is reasonable compared to the quality and taste. We got the tasting menu there, and I loved every single dish! My favorite was the Branzino and the raw wagyu beef. They also have many other dishes that you can order a la cart. I will definitely be coming back! The only caveat is that you will need to know someone who has been to the restaurant before, as they dont post their information on the website.

Comment: Intimate experiences are tough to come by in NYC. Certain speakeasies have nailed this[1], while others feel like meat markets.Bohemian addresses this by being referral-only. Yes, you need to know someone to snag a reservation[2]. Im sure this approach may have hurt initially, but theyve since hit critical mass: I stopped by to say hello one polar vortexy weeknight, and every table was filled.Even full, theres room to canoodle and enjoy your shrimp toast, or eavesdrop on your neighbors. Drinks-wise, Ive had quite the experience with both their in-house drinks and classics. When it comes to food, skip their tasting menu and dive into whatever sounds good to you. Everythings stellar. From the foie gras soba to the short rib sashimi, dishes are rich, flavorful, and freshly-prepared.[1] Attaboy, Im looking at you. And I still love you.[2] Unfortunately I can only refer folks Ive met in real life. If I refer someone whos nuts, itll make me look bad. Not that I think youre nuts. Maybe.

Comment: After several hurdles, I managed to make a reservation here. Its a small restaurant, and they dont rush their patrons so to turn seats. before you call them pretentious for having a speakeasy and a secret phone number, understand that what makes this place good is the fact that its small, and the quality of the food/attentiveness of the staff depends on things being small and manageable.Makes for a great date spot. Everything is good.

Comment: If you can get a res-- even late-- take it. This place is amazing. They dont have many seats and dont crowd the space or rush you, so if you want a relaxing, delicious experience this is the place for you. Its a mix of small Japanese bites with tasty cocktails enjoyed while sitting at the bar or at a couch with a coffee table in front of you. Its such a change from most places in NYC and you get a relaxed dining experience.

Comment: An ultra exclusive restaurant that is behind a butcher shop at night. The steak menu varies but the regular menu stays the same. The wagyu steak is amazing, perfectly cooked and really high quality meat. They also have interesting cocktails and other tasty dishes like fois gras soba. It might be hard to get a reservation on Friday and Saturday night but the other nights are usually free.

Comment: If you can get an invite / reservation here, this is a speakeasy like no other. Hidden behind a high-end Japanese butcher shop on Great Jones St., one of the very few establishments serving real WAGYU-A5 beef. Their menu is a fusion of Japanese / American fare with many items at reasonable prices. They have a tasting menu for those who cannot decide or are unsure what to order from the menu; but for those with the most curious palette, the a la carte items will keep you satisfied. Make sure you ask for their special dishes as they are not on the menu either. We had ordered a number of dishes, definitely not disappointed. Their Mac and Cheese, I highly recommend as their mix of cheeses spread on top of a buttered-tomato bread... simply amazing. The burger, one of the choicest cuts of beef marinated in a Japanese sauce. We even ordered a two items from their dessert menu, no regrets although a bit too much food for us.Even if you are not hungry, this lounge / restaurant has a drink menu that will keep your entire party entertained through the evening.

Comment: After FINALLY obtaining the phone number for this exclusive restaurant, we made a reservation for a party larger than 4 which requires us to all have the tasting menu. But holy cow, was it delicious and filling. My favorite plate was the mushroom croquette with uni on top - I cant even begin to tell you how amazing of a combination that was, and the combination of textures as well. Crispy outside, oozing center, soft uni on top. Love it.I also ordered an amazingly flavored earl grey tea infused gin cocktail, I cant remember the name. It was too sweet to have multiple of, but delicious to sip on.We were seated on two couches facing each other, they were not comfortable. That would be my one complaint. They served a lot of food, very filling, all flavorful and delicious.I would come back here for sure, I definitely want to go back just for the cocktails. There was this one pumpkin flavored one - Mrs. Lennon - which sounded like a must. Next time!

Comment: I had really high expectations since its a secret restaurant. While I enjoyed the food, I thought there would be more of a wow factor. The atmosphere is really chill and laidback. The space is like someones living room (we were located on the couch). My group of 5 did the 5-course tasting and my favorite items were the sashimi wagyu short rib and the veggie fondue.I recommend checking this place out, but Im in no rush to go back anytime soon.

Comment: Review number 700 had to be saved for an amazingly awesome restaurant, and Bohemian fits the bill perfectly. I can not say this enough but man this place is amazing. Bohemian is literally a hidden gem in the city. And when I say literally, it is literally behind the Japanese butcher shop, and their phone number isnt listed for anyone to come here and eat. In order to even make a reservation here, you have to know someone who has eaten here before to get the number. Call to make a reservation, and theyll actually ask who gave you the number. Pretty wild for a restaurant, but I guess its to keep the crowd down.Inside, there really isnt much seating. At the bar, you can probably fit 5-8 people, and with the couple of tables that they have, you can add in another 20ish people. That means that on a busy day, there could be less people here than at your local McDonalds. The decor is amazing. Nice and dim, this is a spot to go out on a date. There is a nice little zen garden here, which is actually pretty cool to look at.So with any restaurant, you are coming here for the food. At Bohemian, they do not disappoint. What is amazing? Well the list keeps on going and going:- Foie Gras Soba- Uni Croquette- Wagyu Beef Burgers- Beef Sashimi- Ikura Caviar Rice Bowl- Sake Panna CottaBy far, my favorite dish here was the beef sashimi. Amazing amazing amazing. If you dont get anything else here, get the beef sashimi. Thats not to say that the other things here arent amazing either. If I could, I would come here every night for dinner because its just that good. The drinks here arent half bad either. Before dinner, I had myself a Manhattan and it was made just as well as the one Id get at Angels Share or PDT. On top of that, the service here is pretty damn good too. With only about 10 people here at a time, they are on the ball.Bohemian is not a place to be missed. The food is well worth the money, and in actuality, the price isnt half bad either. Drinks are solid, service is prompt, and the ambiance is amazing. I cant think of a bad thing to say about Bohemian except for the fact that I should have eaten here sooner!
