The music was also good, they played a lot of pop and dance music deep cuts. It was a good vibe. My only complaint is the service was very slow even though we were the only people in the restaurant. We weren’t in a hurry so it was fine, but I would be frustrated if I was pressed for time. Expect to spend over an hour here no matter what you order.

They were so crispy and they were juicy on the inside. The best chicken wings i’ve ever had to be honest. The onion rings were so crispy/crunchy and were also the best i’ve ever had. All the food we had was cooked upon us ordering which I loved because everything tasted so fresh. To end our night we ordered some mochi which was a great desert option. Not to mention the service was amazing as well. The waitress that attended us was so nice and attentive and so was the manager Susanto. He’s the best! I’ve never had service like I did at this Bonchon and we will for sure be back soon. This was a 10 out of 10 experience! Thank you to Susanto and his staff for making our night!

The price and taste was authentic and reasonably priced. Also, an order of kimchi side dish was on point..two things. I just wish that there was some kind of broth (e.g. Miss or egg broth - 계란국). And another, if the egg was over easy - sunny side up rather than the way they served it. Then it would’ve been a five for me.

According to the menu, the chicken is made-to-order so it comes with a short wait, but it was well worth it. The chicken is incredibly tender, with a thin, crispy skin. We ordered the spicy variant, which is quite hot but also nice and sweet. The service was great, the waitresses were incredibly attentive and friendly. After our meal, the manager came to our table and told us that FIT students qualify for a 10% discount. We were attended to rather fast and ordered right away. We got our food after an about 10-15 minute wait but the wait was well worth it. The traffic on 23rd St is less chaotic than the touristy 5th which is always a plus for me. The food = deelish. The spicy sauce for their chicken combos is really spicy and oh so good. Its under new management, and Susanto the new general manager was very attentive and present, on the dining room floor interacting with the customers.

How can you go wrong with fried goodness? We ordered a medium portion of the garlic soy wings, and they did not disappoint. We also ordered one order of their daily special tacos, and they were also unbelievable. I wish we had left some room from the wings though, as we both had one bite and couldnt finish the rest.Atmosphere - Very much a box-chain store feel to the place. Exactly what you would expect from a chain restaurant. Comment: Bonchon is one of my places to go when Im looking for great food but dont wanna spend much ! I mostly go to the bonchon which is located in northern blvd! And I have been only once in this location . This bonchon is soo much bigger than the one in northern. Very huge space and nicely decorated! Bonchon has great menu! I absolutely love the shrimp shumai its just tooo good ! Love their fries and their chicken and rice ! And their tacos taste delicious! I come here often, but not this location often! But if youre looking for something thats gonna satisfy your stomach at a good price, bonchon is a must! Cant wait to go there soon cz I am craving for bonchon right now as I am writing my review haha!! 👌🏼💯

Comment: I love love love that there is now a BonChon Chicken in Chelsea less than a block from my apartment. The staff there are amazingly friendly and considerate. Gordon one of their host was willing to walk my take out order to the front door because I wanted to kill two birds with one stone. Walking my dog and pick up dinner all in one outing.I only wished they were open on Sunday :(

Comment: The new Bonchon opened in Chelsea, N.Y. was good. You wont be disappointed with the fried chicken. Theres other food selections other than fried chicken.
