Comment: Great food and service. Ive been wanting to eat her for a while. We had the Korean tacos and chicken sliders for appetizers. Basically the sliders seem like a boneless wing on a bun with cole slaw. the tacos were sauced up and chopped up chicken in a soft shell taco.Now for the main course we had the bulldak. It came out sizing hot and packed with flavor. We also had some Korean fried chicken wings. Soy garlic and spicy of course. That chicken was so crispy and delicious.

Comment: I went here by myself and I liked the atmosphere because it was like a night bar theme with K-pop on the side. Pretty great menu and I had the plain udon soup and the Korean fried chicken. Honestly I liked the udon but I thought the Korean chicken was better on seasoning and crunchiness. The service is was pretty good, could’ve had been better.

Comment: Located in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn, Bonchon brings fast, hot, and flavorful on a new classic. Their take on Korean fried chicken is extra crispy chicken breading with your choice of either spicy sauce (without being ridiculous) or soy garlic (for the faint of heart). We had the 10 piece wings, 5 drumsticks, seasoned fries, and plain fried rice. We are generous eaters and it was too much food for 2, but we wanted to try different things. Everything was perfect. 100% recommend and will be back.

Comment: This place was great dine in. Service was prompt and attentive. Chicken katsu was a generous portion of crispy a tender fried filet over rice. Bulgogi arrived hot in a sizzling platter and smelled delicious. The soy garlic chicken bibimbap didn’t have the traditional Korean style fixings. It had quinoa and chopped romaine, fresh cut button mushrooms and sliced omelette. This was rated a popular item and delicious. If you’re craving real Korean bibimbap, I wouldn’t recommend this dish. The chicken katsu and bulgogi were awesome. Satisfying and worth the price.

Comment: I came here twice in a week after discovering it!! The wait time was about 15 - 20 minutes or so and the first time I went with only one another person and the second was with two other people. I ordered the 10 pc sou sauce wings for 16 dollars (not including the rice but it does include radish or another side) and with rice. The wings were AMAZING!! The meat inside was really soft and overall flavorful. Four wings plus the rice was enough to fill me up. I would also recommend their mochi ice cream, it was prepared well and delicious! The staff was really friendly and was there when we needed anything. Plus there were bathroom which were both clean and pretty. Our price at the end was little pricey though. I recommend this branch of Bonchon more than the one in the city near Koreatown. I will come again once i saved up!!

Look and tasted more like a veggie taco appetizer.REVIEW EDIT AND UPDATE:From 4 stars to 2 stars. I found aluminum brillo inside my food. I chewed on it and it got between my teeth. Was not to happy. Decided to stop eating and threw out the food.

Comment: FANTASTIC food here. Some of the best chicken wings Ive ever eaten and the prices were pretty fair.The service was a little choppy though. The waitress walked away twice before I finished speaking without saying anything. I was just asking for ketchup and the check which were both brought to me, but it felt rude that she seemed to be such in a hurry that she couldnt say a simple okay.Not a HUGE deal, but its definitely worth mentioning. Also, their restroom was very clean which is always a bonus and makes me feel more confident in the cleanliness of the restaurant in general.Overall, fantastic food and a pretty good restaurant so I would definitely come back here and would recommend other people visit too, but I wouldnt expect top-notch service.

Comment: Great fusion restaurant. Its a bit hidden but once you get inside it looks great. The food is very good. We had the fried shrimp dumplings with honey dijon dressing for starter, and those were very tasty. For main course I had the fried chicken (wings and drum sticks) and I can see why people are raving about them. I preferred the drum sticks to the wings but that might be a personal preference. I highly recommend the dish either way. My wife had the Bull dak (spicy chicken, rice cakes, onions, and hot pepper sauce stir-fried and topped with scallions and sesame seeds and mozzarella cheese). It was good and the presentation was cool, it sizzled and steamed when it came to our table. The staff was courteous and friendly and happy to help with recommendations.

Comment: I am happy there is a location in Brooklyn. They take orders in person and via the app. For this visit I used the app. It was easy but if you want liquor you have to do that in person. The young lady who was upfront taking orders and distributing orders was very attentive. There is a wait for the food but it is well worth it. The food was packaged beautifully so the chicken stayed crunchy and the brown bag vented fry were nice and crunchy too. The chicken katsu dish was perfectly moist and saucy. Looking forward to getting more takeout because of the well though of packaging.
