Comment: Hubby and I had a bento box and terriyaki tofu. Both were delicious. The broth soup was also very flavorful and not overly salty. Service was efficient and timely. Waitress asked to refill drinks before glasses were totally empty. Wed definitely co.e here again to try other menu items.

Comment: Bonsai2 was the perfect place to get together with family for a casual dinner. Servers were helpful and patient as we took several minutes to decide what we each wanted to order. The bento dinner box is shown in the pic (without the salad and miso soup. )Never had a dessert sushi roll before here, it was tasty. We will be back again!

Comment: If heaven were a sushi spot on earth it would be Bonsai 2. I have been coming here for years and I swear it just keeps getting better. From the delicious, fresh, incredible rolls, to the salads and app, Bonsai never disappoints. I’m seriously addicted to this place and would recommend it for takeout, date night, lunch, brunch or all of the above! If you love good sushi, you will fall head over heels for Bonsai.

Comment: Finally stepped into Bonsai II for lunch after writing my review of the original Bonsai location. Man was I surprised at this upscale elegant and softly lit setting. Much more seating than the original Bonsai and same outstanding food for the price. Generous portions. We always end up taking home left overs with the 3 roll lunch special. Around 11:45am, we were the first customers welcomed in that day. A calm quiet atmosphere, perfect first-date venue and its wheelchair accessible. Highly recommend!

Comment: This is my first time ordering here and I am blown away. The food is great, but this business has the best Covid measures I have seen so far. What used to be a crowded dining room is now a very large, clean, and comfortable waiting area for picking up your food. They have installed a window booth where the door to the sushi bar was. I feel assured coming here that they are taking all measures necessary to keep themselves and their customers healthy.

Comment: We have been coming here since we moved to the area in 2010. We have never had a bad experience. The restaurant is well maintained and has a nice atmosphere. The service is good. Our whole family love the place. My wife and I usually order the Bento Box. Our kids usually order a special roll. The miso soup is very good. The dressing that comes one the salad for the Bento Box is awesome!

Comment: I always have a great experience here! The waitstaff is always willing to get you what you need if you ask, but they dont stop by every 2 seconds and interrupt your meal/ conversation. Speaking of the meal, it is always gotten to you within a reasonable time after ordering, and tastes so good. I highly reccomend the miso soup (cant go wrong) and a spicy tuna roll

Comment: A lot of reviews here saying the service is bad. Ive been here many times and have never had a problem with the staff. The food is always great and I think the prices for the sushi are excellent, especially the generous lunch specials which run from 11AM to 4(!)PM. Highly recommended.

Finish up with Udon or their new Thai menu with authentic Curry and our day is complete. The prices are very fair and this is a great place for a quick lunch. Highly recommended

Comment: Some reviewers must be confusing Bonsai with another restaurant. Ive been to Bonsai many times because its the best sushi experience Ive had in the valley. Ill just give it to you straight up: sushi chefs are Japanese (which is rare and good), sushi and sashimi has always been well chosen and well prepared, the sushi appetizers are unique and worth trying -- the Dynamite appetizer is lightly tempura fried white tuna on top of seaweed salad, and theres a very interesting sauce that you should ask for on the side because they tend to put too much, Salmon Skin Salad appetizer is great -- its crispy shreds of salmon skin on top of seaweed salad. Ask for the salmon skin well done and extra crispy. Sauce on the side. The waitresses are sweet, attentive, and nice.But its true that they can get overwhelmed when its busy and things can be forgotten about. But the thing is that youre having such a nice time with the food and the surrounding that youll probably be understanding about small lapses in the serviceAnd my two top reasons for loving Bonsai... Happy Hour every day -- lmost everything on the menu is half price, and the sake is cheaper too. Very comfortable outdoor seating thats far from traffic noise and with a nice energy from a few passersby on their way to the yogurt place or starbucks.
