Comment: Love this place. I’ve only gotten their bento boxes, my favorite is probably the salmon. Tasty and good portions. What I LOVE is that they give salad and shrimp+sweet potato tempura with my bento box (miso soup as well but every place does that). This is what sets this place apart!

Comment: The food was fresh, hot and beautifully presented. Tasted as good as it looked. Quite small but cozy, intimate setting, bathroom available and clean. Service was a bit stale at first but eventually warmed up and by the end was on point. Went from what I thought would be a one star review, to a four star. They deserved it. Shashimi was fresh and my guy was pleasantly surprised. Would recommend

No one can beat this restaurant now its been 13 years since we are going here and the tast and the excellent experience, quality of the food never changed. The owner of this place is a blessing in this part of Brooklyn for having very honest and beautiful atmosphere food served and cooked with love.We have nothing but good and beautiful things to say about this Chikurin and the owner.Today was mothers day so We traveled from NJ drove 2.5 hours each way. Trust me the food is that good. 😋

Comment: My favorite go to for sushi! Indoor or takeout. Ive been coming to Chikurin for like a decade now I think. Since I was in high school. A friend of mine lives near here so we always ate here for the lunch special. Anyway, I havent been back for maybe a year or two, and recently visited this year. The location moved! It is now on a corner instead. Very green decor. Same waiter!Food is delicious as always. Fresh and hot, with great flavor and presentation. Portions are great. The bento dinner is massive and I couldnt finish it all in one sitting. Really good value so I highly recommend.Overall, the restaurant has a fresh new aesthetic, new location, but same great taste and service. Show them some love and support by either dining in or taking out. They offer indoor dining as well as outdoor seating!!This is my go to sushi place, my one and only gripe is the parking situation! (Not their fault though-- Im just warning my fellow drivers out there) Bath Beach is terrible for drivers. Youve got to have eyes like a hawk to catch parking spots as they get taken up rather quick. Try the side streets or deal with the meters.

Comment: Excellent neighborhood sushi joint. The sushi is always fresh. Priced fairly for the area. Love to order the sashimi by piece. The rolls are sometimes a bit inconsistent (sometimes its bigger and sometimes its smaller. Maybe changed chef or trainee training). Overall, good neighborhood sushi!

Comment: Overall the place was very clean. The sushi was good size and there wasnt a lot of rice in the rolls. The salad was drenched on dressing that I couldnt eat the last bits of it. Service was a bit slow considering we were the only people in the restaurant.

Comment: Love the sushi here, I usually do take out, but it is also my go-to, its close, and usually wait list for takeouts are 15-20, even if you are walking in, they usually have space for you to seat, and dont have to wait most of the time.
