Comment: As I was passing by, I decided to go in and was surprised to see how spacious it was and how modern the decor was. The Out of Control roll and the Angry Dragon roll were chosen. I was delighted to find them delicious and highly recommend them. The menu is well designed and offers a variety of choices. Also, the bartender service was very good and the bartenders were very friendly. There is no doubt that I will visit this restaurant again the next time I visit Saratoga.

Comment: Friend and I arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday and had the hibachi experience. Our chef was friendly and talented. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked as was friends salmon and scallops. I loved my mango smoothie (like a dessert with whipped cream and cherries) while friend enjoyed hot sake. The portions surprised me - a lot of food! Friend loved the fried rice. Id definitely return for the great food and service!

Comment: A Good place and the only reason I have not given full marks for the atmosphere is because someone covered the toilet seat with a lot of toilet paper and it was there when we entered the place and it was still there when we left an hour and a half later. No one cared to clean it up. We ordered miso soup, Thai soup and clear chicken and all three were good and so was the serving size. Duck was good so was the dumpling style dish.

Comment: We had a great dining experience on 05/27/23. There was a very kind young man, named James who took our order. He was very polite and attentive. Our chef prepared our two hibachi meals with great skill and precision. He was friendly and was entertaining to watch. The portion sizes were so enormous, we couldnt finish even half of it. Dinner for tonight! While pondering the star-level of this review, I considered giving one star less for the other chef serving other tables. Weve been to enough of these establishments to realize there is an entertainment aspect to this. Chefs will often throw food in the air, so patrons catch it in their mouths, or they would squirt saki into the mouths of people to see how much they can consume. During these saki events, the other chef was so loud, everyone in the room, including all the non-participants, had to stop their conversations because they could not be heard over his voice. I realize this is part of the show, but he was a bit over the top. I almost subtracted a star for this, but then realized the chef was being enthusiastic and trying to entertain his guests. In the future, I would suggest that he lower the volume a few decibels, so EVERYONE in the room can enjoy a nice meal.

I Live 2 hours away from this restaurant and its torture..They have multiple ramen options as well as so many yummy add ons.When my favorite ramen shops were states away from me I didnt think about to to much.. but now its so close yet so far for me!!If your around here know how blessed you are and get some delicious food!! We ordered california roll, AAC roll, fried rice, lemongrass soup, green tea, and chicken pad thai. Everything was delicious! Parking was a bit confusing as can be with Saratoga. Its in the back. We were seated with a group of 3 other people.Ordered a cocktail and water, both took a while to get to us.Hibachi wise we both got the filet mignon medium rare. It came with fried rice, fried noodles, vegetables, shrimp, soup and salad.The food was all cooked to perfection, and very yummy!

Comment: I love Duo. Im an obsessed sushi fan so for me to say that says A LOT. Having just moved here, I was on the hunt to find a good sushi place. I had tried other places in the area and found them to be lacking severely in quality and taste. Then I stopped in to Duo and Ive been going there ever since. Comment: You can easily miss this place on Broadway, but dont sleep on it! Was very pleasantly surprised when I dropped in there; ordered three sushi rolls and they absolutely were the best Ive had in recent memory (very fresh ingredients, in particular). On this particular day, there also happened to be a steady stream of Bossa Nova Jazz, making for some great ambience. Will be hitting this place again next racing season.

We ordered several different things to try and they were all amazing!This was our first time going in to eat here, we usually order them off of Grubhub. We definitely recommend!The only reason why I didn’t give full five stars is because when we first came in, the hostess seemed miserable and acted like we were a burden for coming in. She warmed up after a while but seemed absolutely miserable and it made us feel really uncomfortable. And when we asked for the check, we were still munching on some stuff and talking but the waitress stood over us waiting and then asked for our payment as we’re still eating...

This New Years Eve, my daughter wanted Japanese food from Duo and they went out of their way to make it extra special for her!! Their sushi and sashimi are beautiful and fresh. Their spicy beef ramen bowl is my personal fav! I highly recommend this place!

Comment: From out of town on business trip in Saratoga Springs. I had some hankering for Japanese food and happened to pass by during lunch. Glad I did. Their Salmom Teriyaki bento box for lunch was very fulfilling and the sauce was superb. Also liked the sides. I was underwhelmed by the Spicy Tuna Roll though. All in all, it’s good and the price is right.

Comment: Ramen was the spicy beef, said beef was diced, it came ground. Ground beef and ramen do not ever work . Unless your in it for beef broth and chunks after all ramen is devoured.Also the sushi, its ok. I got the out of control and they smother the rolls with so much sauce it takes away from the actual sushi.

Comment: I bring my husband (friends, family, clients) to Duo so often that I’m here every month—sometimes a few times! Hands-down our favorite sushi in town! Plenty of tables means you usually don’t have to stand in a looooong line or make a reservation (though I’d recommend it during track season!). The food and drinks are consistently delicious! In well over 100 visits I’ve never left dissatisfied with the quality.In addition the restaurant is clean, relaxed and comfortable. The hibachi area upstairs can get wild, LOL! Great for an intimate dinner for two or a huge birthday celebration!

Comment: Awesome food, and plenty of it! Service is enen better on the Hibachi side of the restaurant. They cook your food right in front of you while you watch and eat your starter salad and soup. Then, you will get a close up view of the flames off the hot grille. Theyll even throw food up in the air for you to try to catch with your mouth. Then youll even get some Japanese wine squirt into your mouth. We had the Chicken and Filet Mignon which was superior! I also liked their Japanese beer on tap. Great and unique restaurant.

Comment: Went here on vacation and our waitress was phenomenal. Our dumplings and sushi were also great. I suggest not to order the ramen, I found it to be very flavorless. The fish crackers were rubbery. The eggs were just hard boiled and submerged in broth, not spiced like an authentic ramen spot. Far better options for ramen. Everyone else enjoyed their meal, so only taking a star for myself!

Went for a birthday shindig once, and between everyone I think something from each category was on that griddle/grill. Entertaining, but most of all very tasty. Only complaint is cleanliness of glassware, and once my tempura fire&ice was mushy&greasy, not at all crispy. ... Duo is one of two establishments I consider a must-go place in Saratoga when Im in town.The sushi is fresh, fast, with delicious and unique rolls. Comment: I enjoyed the meal I had here very much. It was quite well prepared and imaginatively presented. The wait staff was good, though a little thin as far as their presence was concerned, but helpful with requests. I did have to keep asking for tea, but I guess theyre not used to westerners who drink more than token amounts of tea. Desserts were standard American fare, not Japanese, which was disappointing. I thought the dining room lighting was quite dim for lunch time. I would definitely return.

Comment: We were 6 friends for lunch at the place. The location/decor was good. Being vegetarian I could not enjoy much and my other vegetarian friend also did not like it. But other friends who had non-veg dishes they likes it. Finally, Japanese food has a different taste which has to be developed to like it. Overall experience was OK, but we decided not to go there for lunch again, as 2 out of 6 members did not like it (being vegetarian).
