Comment: It was ok will go there again try other dishes only thing with what I ordered was it didnt have much flavor and spice. I ordered green curry and shrimp.Update: went there again and I was a lil disturb by the waiter. I ordered an eel roll Which had 6 pieces but he brought the food to me with his hand over it to hold it while he could have hold the side that was empty 🤔 that was a turn off and weird... why your hand over my food. One bad service but not sure if Ill go back.

I have become a “Green Curry connoisseur recently as it is my favorite Thai food and my “Test Dish” in any new restaurant.The Green Curry dish was hot and a good size. All in all good taste and consistency. Would be better to stick with the traditional Thai vegetable like the Thai eggplant but I thought it was pretty decent for a basic dish here.The eel avocado was decent. Good rice and consistency. All in all it’s not a Michelin star but affordable and decent meal

But for the price, quality and freshness of seafood, Edo located at 2087 Coney Island Ave is tops. The menu has many options from appetizers, oysters, sushi, sashimi, omakase & shabu-shabu. Plus the sake & beer options compliment the authentic cuisine. The well-informed staff are attentive & fun. Comment: Holy moly this place was so fantastic!!! The sushi was delicious and prepared in front of us at the little sushi bar! We started with the coconut shrimp and they were absolutely amazing. I tried a menu item called the Lychee ice water and it was probably one of the best drinks I’ve ever had in my life, in addition to the fresh lychee fruits in the drink the flavor was incredible & authentic, the drink was sweet yet delicious and refreshing, we ended up ordering two in to go cups for the road to enjoy it a little longer! The staff was super friendly & accommodating, I think we met the owner since we were there a little late and he assured us it was okay & to take our time! Of course though we left early enough for them to close up out of respect :) overall a great experience that we will most certainly go back for! I’m still thinking about that lychee water lol

If you decide to eat sushi or any Japanese food and come to this place just ask a waiter to he ore she brings a chief to you and ask him make something delicious. Sure every time when i did it I leaved him a large tips, but, this chief he is just a magician and making author meals 😊. The sushi chef came out to our table to bring us a little dish he had come up with that wasnt on the menu (that was delicious) and later came back because he noted that we had only ordered cooked dishes (I explained that I dont dig that raw fish texture) and asked if he could try to make something uncooked that we would like. Whatever that was he brought out was so tasty and he really did manage to disguise the sliminess of the fish. He offered to bring us even more off-menu creations but I declined because I started to feel bad about taking all of his attention! We also werent charged for either of these additions.

Comment: This is our favorite place for sushi and has been for a long time. We used to eat there at least once a week for 4 years before moving out of state. Had a chance to stop by on our recent trip to New York and were pleasantly surprised by new design and that sushi quality was just as great as we remember! Miss this place a lot
