Comment: Indulge in Heavenly Ham and Cheese CrepesI recently visited Eight Turn for the first time and I must say it was an absolute delight for my taste buds! As a fan of crepes, I was particularly excited to try their ham and cheese crepe, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted warmly. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations throughout my dining experience. The crepe itself was thin and perfectly cooked. The generous filling of high-quality ham and a delectable blend of cheese created a super delicious combination of flavors.Eight turn crepe is an absolute must-try! A Tasty TreatI had a recently visited Dekalb market hall and tried the Japanese crepe for the first time. I had Strawberry banana crepe and Japanese soda . Delicious !The kiosk was a bit busy during my visit, the attentive employee kindly informed me about the estimated 15-minute wait. I appreciated their transparency and was completely fine with the short delay. The wait was well worth it once I had the outstanding crepe and soda.

Comment: I got the almonds, Nutella, and banana crepe and it was phenomenal. I made the mistake to get it after dinner and by the time I ate half I was too full so definitely wat it with an empty stomach. The crepe was think but not too thin to be floppy and hard to eat and the toppings were abundant. The guy was very polite and friendly and did an excellent job. If I lived here Id be a few pounds heavier because there is not way I could resist it.

Comment: Awesome vibe, friendly staff, & good food.Would definitely recommend and revisit for a savory breakfast crepe. Mine was a sweet crepe cooked a little softer than I’d like, which made eating on the go a bit tough with the flimsy fork they provided. Not to worry, the Jamaican spot nearby had thick black forks that make slight work of tearing through crepes. Didn’t bother me a bit, I just kept thinking ‘man, a better fork would eliminate the risk of food being flung at my face while I’m digging into it.’ Just a small suggestion I’d offer. Also, the pricing wasn’t bad but I’ll say I’m used to having a greater variety of choices than Nutella, custard or yogurt. Still didn’t bother me one bit.Pros:-I got to sample the custards which helped a ton.-Serving size & presentation were PERFECT.-Custom crepe building is a major plus here.Cons:-Crepe wasn’t cooked well done, (kinda my fault).-Softer crepes need a stronger fork than theirs.-Nutella & custards are cool, but limited choices.8/10, would definitely crêpe again.

Comment: I got - Matcha stripe chocolate(fillings - strawberry, chocolate truffles and whipped yogurt) 😍. Omg it’s as delicious as it sounds! Can’t believe whipped yogurt and matcha would complement each other. The chocolate overpowered the matcha a bit though.I ordered for a quick pickup via seamless and it was still warm. They serve the crêpe in a shape of a cone wrapped in paper. Did I still make a mess? yes. Was it worth it? Totally. They have tons of sweet and savory options. I was going to complain about how pricey it is $10 but oh well I enjoyed the ‘crepe’ out of it and I ll definitely be going back for more 😋😍 . It’s a solid 9/10

Comment: This small and recused charm of a creperie, is a restaurant some would say is difficult to find amongst the chaotic hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle we call home. As I was staring at the workers making my delicious crepe, I found myself mesmerized and in awe of the art of creating such a feat of nature. The first bite I took of my Nutella crape, I was instantly hypnotized and placed in a state of surreal bliss. Fabrizio, the man who made my wonderful meal, had a calm and soothing voice which put all my worries to ease. His gentle, kind, and placid nature made me feel as though there would be no safer place than in his arms. But I digress. Eight Turn Crepe reminds me of my special night with Estaban, my most excellent masseuse. Each bite is as blissful as floating through the heavens upon a gentle, soft cloud. If you are still questioning whether or not to eat here, I suppose that I have failed my destined duties. Wait be long as fuk tho.

Comment: I needed a unique and savory way to cater my sons birthday party. The party was at Escape Virtuality in NYC. I didnt want many tables and chairs taking up the room because I wanted the kids to have plenty of room to run around. The venue referred me to Eight Turn Crepe. Steven helped me design a unique menu for my event and provided a creative way to serve the crepes so that my guest didnt have to sit at a table to eat. On the day of my event, a staff of four extraordinary, professional, and kind young men showed up early and set up a beautiful display of yumminess. My guests are still raving about the food! I definitely will work with them again in the future.

Comment: Their crepes are so delicious but the girl made my day so bad because i place my order and I come back after fews minutes to pick it up and this happened! So I had no idea that a customer can scare you by standing at the register area asking for his food because you know that customers are always standing there! So I came with my recipe saying hey and she yelled saying you scared me! I don’t appreciate that.

Comment: We ordered 7 different crepes for lunch at the office. We tried savory and sweet ones. Everything was delicious and fresh! The crepes themselves are the best I’ve tried, not too thin, not too thick, not too buttery, just the perfect amount of everything. And by the way, the to-go packing is extremely convenient.P.S. No pictures just because everything was gone in a minute))

Comment: I missed crepes, and the only place I knew was T swirl by my old high school but this place is way better. The creativity and organization on how to make the custom crepes but still make them filling isnt easy to do. The crepe was amazing but wasnt overbearing or hard to eat. And even after sitting in my bag for some time it didnt fall apart or get as messy as other crepes do. Presentation is also a bonus, as some places make great food but it looks ugly, the crepe was pretty to look at and pretty to eat. Ill have to get another one some time soon.

They offer you the ability to customize your own crepes, allowing for various creme fillings, fruits, nuts, and other sweet and savory toppings. The Chocolate Truffles are a must-include topping, and definitely pay the extra dollar for the Smores Ice Cream. It is sooooo worth it

Comment: Loved this place since the time is used to be open in SoHo! My preferred Harajuku style crepe place for various reasons. The options are all wonderful (the savory and the sweet are all good choices) and very filling as well. The crepes themselves are crispy on the outside but still soft, which I appreciated. Like I said, very filling, so if youre going to get some sweet crepes for dessert, maybe walk around a bit or take it slow.

Comment: Japanese style crepe which you will need to hold it in your hands like a sundae cone. The crepe itself is made from rice ingredients so it has a very unique taste. They have both sweet and savory crepes, but in my opinion, the sweet one tastes better. The portion is large, and may be too much for dessert after a meal. So I would come eat the crepes here as a snack. The place is kinda small but most likely you take it out and eat it at a near by park. I recommend their matcha crepe.

Comment: Place is small, but in front of the uptown 6 train entrance, very convenient. They have many unique names for their crepes and creations. You can make you own topping and filling, but I went with the Harajuku cocktail ( Strawberries, almonds, blueberries, raspberries, and some cream). The crepe was pretty crispy. It needed a bit more cream, it was a little on the drier side.Small seating area infront of the windows and a bench on the wall. This place is tiny, but I liked their packaging when you take it to go. Almost like eating a burrito, and you peel the wrapper as you go down chopping on the crepe. They accept all major credit cards, you swipe sign your name on their ipads. I would prefer them having some hand sanitizer next to their counter because everyone probably touched that ipad with their dirty fingers..then you have to eat your awesome crepe with a fork...I sometimes prefer my fingers for those crucial moments when needed.

Comment: Solid japanese crepe place. Sadly they are just a store front, with no tables and chairs but their savory and sweet choice crepes are excellent, with a japanese flair. I had a red bean crepe and it was delicious. I also had their crepe dog with band ketchup and tofu one as well and they were just a lovely eating experience. I will be back, when Im in the neighborhood, to grab a crepe on the go.

Comment: This is a really cute crepe place in Soho with Japanese style crepes. Although theres barely any room to stay and eat in there the park down the block is a good alternative. I had to Harajuku Fruit Cocktail and loved it! The crepe itself was crisp and the fruits were ripe. The almond slices were w great touch and the custard was sweet. The yozosoda was also great! Full of citrus and nicely chilled! I wish they would offer it in hot tea form for the upcoming winter weather though.

Comment: Eight Turn Crepes is one of the two locations for this fantastic crepe shop. The other is in the adopted homeland of crepes, Tokyo, Japan. Either location you visit is delicious, although the NYC branch uses rice flour instead of regular flour (because Americans think gluten is bad - hint, its not). That being said, the crepes are delicious. I enjoyed the kurubota sausage crepe, and nearly walked back in for a sweet crepe right afterwards. Try 8 Turn. You wont be disappointed.

Comment: Take out crepe store with a couple of seats, with fillings way beyond the everyday creperie. Wakame sesame. Yes. Teriyaki chicken. Yes. Tofu edamame. Yes. Truffle egg white omelet. Well, Im not really into ordering eggs. But Truffle oil. Hell yeah. Both savory and sweet varieties, with coffee and shakes. Unless you want the regular varieties of crepes, this is defiantly the place to go. Best crepe store around.

Comment: Not a sit-down place. Few seats for folks who want to sit and enjoy their food. Good for savory or sweet. Its more than enough for a meal.

Comment: I had the pleasure to try these delicious crepes at the Intel Popup back in January. The Matcha Stripe Chocolate crepe had ripe strawberries, chocolate sauce, housemade chocolate truffles, whipped yogurt, matcha custard cream and crushed pistachios. It tasted light, without feeling overly sweet. The finished masterpiece was definitely too pretty to eat; this crepe was $7. If lets say you were allergic to nuts, they would be more than happy to leave it out for you. I would definitely go again for the Matcha Stripe Chocolate or to try any of their other sweet or savory crepes, which include a cheesecake crepe as well!

Comment: Japanese crepe place with cute display of all options in the window! Highly recommend this place vs. the one just a few stores down. The lox crepe is amazing! Truffle crepe is very healthy tasting, maybe its not their better one. I must try their dessert crepes soon (matcha green tea ice cream, etc), but I always eat their savory crepe and end up being too full for the sweet ones..

Comment: Food (5/5) Decor (4/5) Service (3/5)The crepes here are amazing. I had the matcha stripe chocolate crepe and the strawberry plus chocolate chunks plus thin wrapper worked together harmoniously. The wrapping of the crepe is also very innovative. They fold it up into a cone shape and wrap paper around it so you can hold it and eat it like an ice cream cone almost. The paper is perforated so that as you eat, you can keep peeling the paper away in a neat and orderly fashion. The yuzu lemonade, which was being offered as a free promotion when I went, was also really tasty and reminded me of a normal lemonade with an extra citrus burst. The service here was only so so though. The person taking our orders was a little brusque and rough around the edges. Also, they were doing a buy one crepe get one yuzu lemonade free promotion, and when they forgot to give us our lemonades, I asked for mine only to be greeted with a look and tone of suspicion. Thoroughly off putting. Also, if you plan on coming with a group for brunch, you might have to take it to the park across the street to eat as the place does not have any place to sit.I would certainly come back to this place for the crepes as I feel the taste alone has merited that. Just dont expect to stellar service.

Comment: Crepe Cones! The Japanese always come up with the coolest things and food is no different. They’ve managed to take traditional crepes and turned them into cones that one can eat on the go, similar to how one would eat an ice cream cone. It works out wonderfully and the choices are as vast as one would find at any traditional creperie, such as Vive le Crepe. The first outpost is in NoLita, right when you exit the 6 train on Spring Street. It is a little spot with minimal seating by the windows and the majority of the space dedicated to the kitchen. The windows feature full on display cones showing the various types they offer to any passersby, from the sweet to the savory. On the right hand side of that inside the shop are LCD screens depicting the origins of the location, Japanese girls eating crepe cones, as well as delectable visuals of the insides of these cones and their ingredients. The menu is displayed atop, as well as a portable menu on the counter so you can make your pick. The entire place seems to be digitized and you order you sign for your card by finger on a tablet, just like most small businesses in the city are starting to do these days. Now unto the food. They’re really good and they are worth the price. They are comparable to other crepe locations and at times even cheaper. However, they are just as filling and look just as pretty, as evidenced by the pictures in this post. I’ve been there twice already and the strawberry banana is my favorite. They have a plethora of fruit flavors and savory ones that include turkey or ham with lettuce. I haven’t tried them but they look really good.I recommend you stop by as soon as possible as everyone was asking where we got it from when we were eating them on the train, so I expect the place to be swarmed soon.
