Comment: This sandwich had no business being so good! I could honestly eat this every day and be happy.If youre extra hungry and looking for veg options, the portabello sando (quite large) and the 1/2 egg salad sando were a perfect combination! The veg options are mainly the mushroom or the egg salad but you can get it as a bowl instead of a sandwich.My friends and I were saying this was all of our favorite meals of our five-day trip. Its a chill spot and still has a nice outdoor seating area.

Comment: Walked by and thought it looked interesting, and Im very glad I stopped. Delicious curry, and the katsu bites were so crispy! The spicy tonkatsu sauce was a perfect burn. Great little space, nice people, excited to come back.

Comment: Man oh man, do they give you a massive piece of perfectly fried chicken katsu or what. The chicken katsu is cooked perfectly and has that great flavor to it! I got the bento box and I had the cucumbers which were spicy and were in a nice sauce. The edamames were cooked great and tasted good. The only thing I wish is that I had a bit more rice to balance the meat to rice ratio. My family got the chicken katsu sandwich and said that was good too. The inside is super small and can only fit 6 people at max, it’s definitely a to-go place.

Comment: Excellent Katsu. We enjoyed the sandwich and the curry. Food is cooked with care, inside stool seating was clean and no wait for seating on a late Friday pm. I only wish the sauce price was included in the sandwich. Staff is friendly. Enjoy!

Comment: I ordered and soon they brought out my meal as I sat outside with a beer. The katsu tasted good, interestingly it was in one piece rather than broken up like other katsu. But it was easy enough to cut and dip with the curry.Mixing in the coleslaw added to the flavor just a tad. Overall its good.

Comment: Loved this place! Had the chicken Katsu which was so incredibly juicy yet crispy on the outside, veggies were fresh and crisp and the milk bread was soft as a cloud. Also tried the heirloom tomato cold udon which was refreshing in the August heat. Cannot wait to go back.

Comment: Absolutely delicious! The pork and chicken katsu are both outstanding and the mushroom katsu is beyond delicious! It’s hard to choose which to get, so I would recommend bringing a friend (or two) along. If you’re in the area, it’s a must try! I dream about the sandos multiple times a week.

Comment: This is a quintessential East Village spot. Really good food, modern, and affordable. I got the chicken katsu bowl and it was one of the better bowls I’ve had in EV. The chicken is MASSIVE and really good. Fried but not too deep fried. The pickled vegetables, garlic rice, and sauce are familiar-but-leveled-up flavors. Would be one of two places I’d recommend in East village for someone looking for a rice bowl.

Comment: I tried the chicken katsu sandwich which was really good but the cutlet was a little too big for me. Maybe half of the chicken breast wouldve been the perfect size for me but I guess most people would prefer the bigger cut of meat. The chicken is juicy and flavorful despite being white meat.
