Comment: I come here every now and again, and everything stays the same. Im thankful for that since the food is actually good. Usually, if you go to a buffet (such as golden corral), all of the food is nasty. This buffet has countless delicious options in multiple categories, be it surf, turf, fast foods, desserts, sushi and so much more! I was there for about 2.5 hours on Christmas and didnt feel out of place at all. Once they see you get dessert options, they sort of pressure you to leave by bringing the bill and fortune cookies. You dont have to leave at that time. For me, it usually happens around the 1 hour mark. They do a great job at keeping your drinks topped up until after they bring you the check. Unfortunately, after that point, they sort of ignore you. If youre thirsty after 1 hour(after receiving your cheque), you have to grab a waitress for a refill. The atmosphere is great. I usually sit in a booth. Their booths are very comfy. The music is traditional, and while I cant understand it, I love almost every song they play. During my last visit, I even found myself using Shazam to listen to a song again later despite not knowing the language.P.S. If you dont know what to get, try the ranch chicken. Last year, during one of my visits, I ate 3 full plates of it.

Comment: Update: a year or so later, and its been pretty consistently good. Hibachi is the highlight for me, and on weekends their seafood selection is nice.Pretty good buffet. Wide selection of food, and the Hibachi is very nice. Sushi is ok, sometimes lacking freshness. Service is usually pretty good. Will come back though.

Comment: We went to this restaurant, some might call it a buffet. We call it Heaven on earth. The food was scrumptious, the lighting and atmosphere were immersive and engaging and sublime, and the people, most of all, were gracious and good mannered to our Eastern European selves. We enjoy the concert. I drink applesauce, I noticed one thing wrong. There was no balloon in the rafters, and this made my sentimental heart greatly discouraged from ever, ever, believing that a balloon would follow me around the world wherever I went. Overall, aside from these dismaying facts about the balloon, this place was delightful, and a definite return-to place.

Comment: There is no better Chinese buffet within a 227 mile radius of this restaurant. However, that being said, there are probably many, many Chinese buffets that are equally as good. One cannot tell exactly how many restaurants are as good or better, or slightly worse, unless they have tried each and every restaurant. So I do not understand the reviews that say this restaurant has the best food with a certain mileage radius. That being said, I enjoyed the food here. So did my kids and my wife wore sweatpants in anticipation of the meal.

Comment: I love most buffets to be honest. With that said, I will point out what makes this one special. The cheese wontons are very sweet! More like a honey cheese wonton and less like a crab rangoon. The ranch chicken has an amazing batter and texture. The potato wedges are very seasoned just like curly fry seasoning. Theyve got sauteed shrimps with the heads and eyeballs and they are sauteed soft enough so you can eat through the heads just fine and they have a smooth peanut aroma to them. And the general tsos chicken is actually spicy! Oh and guess what? They also serve sesame chicken and it is in fact a different chicken from the general tsos! Thats right! Unlike other buffets that feature both styles of chicken but they are identical LOL. They have traditional fried rice but also a really nice brown rice with mushrooms. Also they have stuffed clams that have such a unique blend of meats and seasoning and bread crumb and color... my Puerto Rican mom said these are Puerto Rican seasoned... Not sure what she means but I also was reminded of Indian food with the brown rice and mushrooms. Another fun thing, is during lunch time, Im pretty sure they put out DiGiorno Pizza? I will eat many slices of that pizza. However, during dinnertime, the pizza changes, and seems to be more sweet like ellios pizza. It is definitely a different brand from the supreme salty stuff featured during the lunch week. Its perfect for me because I kind of want a little bit of DiGiorno with everything I eat. Also during lunchtime only... they have the white angel hair pasta which I love. It is smooth and buttery with some egg and chives. And another lunchtime only dish is beef and scallions which I adore! So show up for lunch if you want the fine Noodle and the really soft tender beef and the DiGiorno supreme pizza. Moving on, I love the cold fully cooked mussels at the salad bar, they are in a tany red sauce. The coconut chicken is really good, not very strong coconut but definitely sweet, and scratches the itch. At the same bar they have some bright yellow chicken that they call teriyaki Chicken which confuses me because teriyaki is not bright yellow but its also not Curry spiced but it is delicious regardless. And again where the salmon is they call it teriyaki salmon but now its strawberry syrup pink, dont know why. The salmon is delicious, but whatever radioactive color is on top is not teriyaki and it doesnt destroy the salmon it seems like its just there for looks. Also theres a lot of different types of sushi that set this buffet apart from other buffets. There is eel! and also shrimp tempura and everything else you could want both raw and California cooked stuff, the different colors of tobiko, etc. and if youre going to get dessert, try to look for the Hershey brand cups of ice cream. A lot of times they are buried under another brand. It is the Hershey brand vanilla that is Snow White in color. The other brand that I cant remember the name of, that I like to avoid is yellow vanilla, which I hate so just heads up if you hate the yellow vanilla then get the Hersheys- its white. All the cakes pretty much taste the same except the red one. Get the red velvet squares and then go back to the hot side and get some sugar fried doughs. The things I dont like include the Mongolian wok because its not actually a wok and you dont get to choose your sauces. He handles teriyaki sauce and oil only... And we have already asserted that they accept the word teriyaki as a very loose and ambiguous way of describing things so I asked if there is any hot oil available or Mongolian sauce, which is why I would go to a wok to begin, but theres not. No garlic oil either. like I said he just uses whatever they think teriyaki sauce is and some other oil that is not spicy and you have no control when he cooks it. Nothing like the Mid-Hudson buffet where you have a bunch of different sauces and oils to choose from and you add them in desired ratios. Oh yeah and his cooking table isnt up to temperature like a wok so the cookings extremely slow.

TONS of food choices here, however its hit or miss with how good the food is.Ironically, I think the sushi is easily the best tasting food here, where normally I never say that for a buffet. More was constantly being added as well, being freshly made. The crawfish was also pretty tasty and not soft like its been at every other buffet Ive been to.Sadly no coconut shrimp, just coconut chicken which was just alright. Thats how I felt about at least half of the food I ate here. The stuffed shrimp and the teriyaki octopus was the same as well.However, because the sushi was so amazing (for a buffet) and the price is the cheapest in the area now, I have to still give this place a good rating. It was also constantly being cleaned and our waitress was attentive, much better than other places in the area.

Comment: All-you-can-eat buffet. Many Hot and cold tables filled with food. Enjoyed the great variety of food and desserts. This place is large and has a great atmosphere. There is a hibachi Wok where you pick the raw meat, vegetables, dairy, and seasonings, then watch a chef cook it right in front of you.The only reason I did not give it 5 star is that for dinner they did not use table cloths, or any linen, or metal utensils. The plates werent hot, and only plastic utensils or chopsticks were offered for eating. There was no way to dry my hands, dryers in mens room didnt work and no paper towels.

Comment: Ive been there twice. The food is delicious with a lot to chose from, but if youre going there mainly for the seafood, I wouldnt bother. Other than the crabs and shrimp, everything else can go. The squid was hard. The clams are TOTALLY tasteless. I wanted to try oysters for the first time, and I doubt those are supposed to be tasteless as well. The lobster is very strange. They cook it with something that I can only describe as mush and the lobster itself is tough and doesnt taste like lobster. The first time I went, all I got was mush. I dont know where the lobster was. Other then the seafood, if youre looking for a large selection of food, this is the place.

Comment: They offer a large variety of food and keep it refilled as well. If youre dining as 2 people your total will be around $40 if all you do is get the buffet and dont do a take out box. They price the take out boxes by weight. They also charge you per drink so if you get refills you will get charged. Right now they are requiring you to wear a mask and gloves while up at the buffet getting your food, they provide the gloves.

But that did not take away from the quality of the food. They check your temperature at the door, and I have no problem with that. Some people may not like it, but in these times, you have to keep everyone safe. Comment: I enjoy coming to this buffet. There is a lot of variety and the pricing is very good. The staff is friendly. The buffet is always clean. When Ive gone, its never been super busy but theres a good crowd. The food is good and always hot. My fiancee enjoys the sushi table. There is also some American food as well.

Comment: This might seem kind of an odd experience, but here’s my 2-cents: “Trust your eyes” at this place. If it looks good in the tray, then it will (likely) taste good. If it doesn’t look appetizing, then don’t go for it. The food that didn’t look as appealing also didn’t taste as great… That’s just how my experience went for me. I’m just telling it like it is. I’d probably visit again if I lived closer… I just happened to be in the area for different reasons. That’s it — enjoy!

Comment: Its got your normal american style chinese buffet... But then there is so much more. However like your normal chinese buffet the sushi is sub par. Its good but the rice isnt seasoned at all. This didnt make me want to take a star away simply because there was so much food from so many styles. You cant perfect everything in one house for just 13.50 all you can eat. Great place and great staff.This was a suprisingly good dinner.

Comment: Great Chinese buffet. Definitely better on the weekends, as the food is replaced often, so is fresher. I love their Italian shrimp.They have a whole section dedicated to a variety of sushi and sashimi, so if you like sushi without the high cost, this is a great place to go. Their spicy crab roll is great.They also have a Mongolian grill-type area in the back, where you can select your own raw foods and they cook it for you. Dinner offers cut up lobster, which seems to be a hit. I havent tried it, as it looks like Id make a huge mess. ^_^

Comment: Not bad. Stay away from the “stuffed shrimp”. I’m not sure what it was stuffed with but if I had swallowed it I’d be writing this from the emergency room. I’m also glad I didn’t swallow the plastic I found in the lettuce. Tons of sushi and other stuff that was decent. Comment: Love the food and variety. We went on a Saturday and and the food is really fresh since they have to keep bringing it it out. The only bad thing is that they cant keep up with the lobster or dont want to.They dont bring it out as much so when they do people take them all as soon as its put down. Same with the other main sea food dishes. It seems all of these Buffett restaurants do this. People were actually just standing there waiting for a long time for them to bring it out.

Comment: I can honestly say that this restaurant has been my favorite buffet around for a while. The price is extremely good for the food you get. The buffet has everything from pizza to fried rice. And the hibachi station in the back of the buffet is outstanding. The staff is extremely good and very friendly, I can almost guarantee that your glass never be empty. The desserts that the buffet offers are also very good and are a nice cherry on top of the excellent meal you just ate. If you are in the mood for Chinese food and a great dining experience give the Flaming Grill & Buffet a try, its worth it.

Great selection of seafood - peel and eat shrimp, Jonah crab, crawfish etc they also offer fried lobster at dinner which I personally find very odd. Not only is it fried it is covered in a layer of gooey flour and water making it very difficult to eat. Aside from that they have a great selection of hot foods, sushi and a hibatchi station. Great for all ages, try going earlier on the weekend as it fills up quickly

We went there this past Sunday evening on a referral from a friend. He said all you can eat lobster and crab for 13 dollars. I thought he said $30, and I thought to myself thats a pretty good deal Ill check it out. I get there with my family, and my wife goes in and checks it out real quick, ITS $13!!! What?! Ok, lets go in and see. It was packed!!! There had to have been 35-40 people waiting...I glance over and I gotta give it to them, They do have a pretty impressive sushi bar, and quite a lot of food. We finally get our seat and I immediately go for the lobster and crab. For the most part, we did enjoy our food, but the only complaint my wife had was it was messy and dirty. She did mention it to the manager, he said cause it was so busy, they didnt have time to clean up around the mess station. Fast forward 3 days later, Im with my nephew and son. I tell him about this buffet, my nephew says lets do it. We get there and this time it is clean! And the waitress is on her game. The 3 of us really enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend this place. Gonna go again soon with another batch of friends to spread the word about Flaming Grill.

Have never seen it this crowded, the English speaking manager was yelling about seating for two parties of 5 and 6 people waiting to be seated. Food was being replenished as we self served, food was good. Noted increase in the price to feed six people including an 11 year old. Price increase from 76 to 92 dollars, with three waters, a sweet tea and two diet sodas. I will never go on a weekend again or pick up the tab for more than two people, cost prohibitive!

Comment: This is the best tasting, and largest chinese buffet we have ever been to. Tha k goodness its close to our home. The variety is huge and be sure to try out the grill. You choose a large variety of various uncooked items, pile them on a plate and the cook it right in front of you on a large grill. Time after time the chef cooked it perfectly. If you go here and dont try out the grill you are missing out on the most special part of the experience there. I will say one negative thing we note most times. The waiters getting you drinks dont always pay enough attention to the level of your glass and many times you have to wait for a bill. But they do clear away your used plates quickly, and all in all it is always a great place to go for a fun delectable meal.

Comment: I really like this place. I usually hate Chinese buffet but Flaming is a cut above the rest. Their food actually tastes good! They have a huge sushi island of buffet quality sushi and sashimi to choose from, and they have a hibachi station where a cook cooks your selections Im front of you. They have a large said bar and dessert selection as well. The restaurant is bright and clean and the staff is friendly. They are feature the most obnoxious birthday song ever! I highly recommend taking someone there for their birthday. You wont regret it. Or, go anytime. Its worth it.

The crab was imitation crab but thats to be expected. The dishes made with the crab were tasty. The crab roll was very good. The coconut chicken was very good as well. I hear that at dinner they have real crab and lobster. Of course at a higher price.

A little crowded at night. Hibachi was good, chef was skilled. Gives a lot of coupons on app. BTW Drinks are 75 cents. Has great desserts, and lots of ice cream of different flavored. Can chose your seats, only when its quiet, But they will move you if something wrong with seat. You get a fortune cookie per person in the end. Dont get to-go during lunch far too expensive compared to eating in. All in all, comparing to other Buffets this far outclasses them.

Comment: For a buffet, i think its great. Ton of sushi choices and many more selections than other buffets. No soft serve ice cream true but they have Hershey ice cream in many flavors, ice cream sandwiches and deserts galore. Wont leave here hungry! Best part...the tables are spread apart enough that youre not sitting on top of another party.
