Comment: I love Fuji sushi! I have started coming here from more than two years ago and their food has been consistently good. Our server Kay has always been very attentive. I usually get sushi but I’ve had their udon before too and it was also really good. I would strongly recommend you check out Fuji if you are craving for sushi or hibachi!

Comment: Stopped in for the first time today after reading mixed reviews. The food is amazing and the place itself is very cozy. The service leaves a little to be desired. It was lunch time and we were the only ones there, I would have thought theyd be falling over each other to make sure we felt warm & fuzzy, but it took them a bit to greet us, after seating ourselves. Maybe its because they were so slow and they are frustrated, but customers pay their bills! 2 cars pulled in as we were getting ready to leave and a different girl came out and seemed a little more ambitious. We will be back, as the food and prices were very good. My hope is that more people try this place and they get a steady business and that leads to better service.

Comment: I was here with my girlfriend the other day visiting from NYC to grab a bite. We had the Sashimi Appetizer, Sushi for 2, and the Green River Roll. The sushi was very fresh and reminded me of Omakase Room by Mitsu in NYC. The atmosphere of this place was very calm (nothing you would find in NYC). The staff were also very nice and gave us Chinese guava candies. Overall, this is a must try and is the best sushi in Rome, NY.

Cant really xomminicate because of language barrier. No greeting. They point to a table u sit there. Drinks or food just set in center of table to given to who actually ordered. Just not friendly didnt feel welcome. I think the party of 6 that came in behind us felt same.Might have been new idno but Ill give it 6 or 8 months and try again hopefully they can improve. Ill update post on next visit. If you dont care about service then it was great. Excellent food.

Kind of felt like that. Menu and specials good. Atmosphere -its a huge log cabin with beautiful open ceiling and beams. Definitely go if you like oriental food. Not sure which specific origin. Do have sushi. Check it out.

Comment: Visited this place with my husband and it was amazing! Here I tried hot sake for the first time, I didnt even know you can drink this hot and it was lovely. Initially we had some reservations about the portion sizes and the prices, but it turns out that the portions are very generous and we ended up getting way more than we could eat. The staff were very kind and gave us a container to take the rest home to enjoy later. Will be returning in the future.

Comment: My kids have requested a five star review for Fuji. We have ordered sushi (and noodles) take-out several times during Covid and the food has always been great. Just tried the 007 Roll for the first time and it was a huge hit with the whole family (including the child who does not like normal sushi). Comment: Literally my favorite restaurant in the entire world. I used to live an hour out of town, and I would drive all of the way to Fuji just to have lunch/dinner. Everything on the menu is awesome, and its very reasonably-priced for the amount of sushi that you get. Its a pretty quiet place, and isnt usually very crowded. The atmosphere is certainly interesting. It used to be a breakfast place, but now it is a sushi place. Go to Fuji, and tell all of your friends that you ate sushi inside of a log cabin. I am very passionate about Fuji, and I want everyone to go.Edit: You can order and even pay online with the app EatStreet, if you arent feeling up to sitting in a restaurant. Definitely something Ive utilized.

The sushi was really good and the combo offered good variety for the price. The place was surprisingly empty for a Sunday night. Great meal, but just 4 stars because the extras are pricy and the miso soup was a little weak. Still would go here for rolls all the time.

I couldnt understand why more people dont eat there. We were well taken care of, and each of us had the Chicken Hibachi. We also had some Gyoza (sp?) for an appetizer with Deep Fried Ice Cream for dessert. It was a wonderful meal and I think they are the best Japanese restaurant in Rome, NY. Everything about them was top notch, professional and I couldnt have asked for more. The portions were filling, but not over the top. It was just right. Great place to eat and I would recommend them to anyone.

Comment: Fuji is a great little Japanese restaurant with cozy atmosphere though a bit eccentric. The establishment is housed inside of a log cabin fitted with Japanese decorations and music, a bizarre but it kinda works.The prices are what you would expect from a Japanese place, but the food is where it really shines through. All the food has been excellent from the Hibachi to sushi to the shashimi, all with beautiful plating. Its not just great food, its art.Ive been to Fuji 3 times now and would recommend the place to anyone looking for Japanese dining.
