Comment: This place was so cozy, had great service and a unique menu with flavorful food. I ordered the wings and the spicy seafood ramen that comes with mussels, plenty of calamari and a large prawn. The broth was rich and delicious. The service was also very attentive and inviting.

Comment: The all caps name, I must say, piqued my interest to try this ramen restaurant, and I’d say I’m happy I made the trek through massive rain to check it out. I got the Kamoni Shoyu Ramen, and it was not lacking in any kamoniku, with duck slices galore (tyvm)! With ample time to make up my mind about them, I would say they weren’t the highlight. Cooked through, they ended up turning into work. The noodles, in contrast, were a bit flimsy. But what kept me going was the dark oily broth of which I did not tire. Overall I would’ve traded a few duck slices for an egg to bring about possibly more balance. The vibe at night was nice, somewhat intimate, with table candles as well as holiday lights, a remnant of which I hope they keep in some aspect.

Comment: Huge meat portions and very tasty broth with a slight smokiness from the meat. I had the spicy tonkotsu ramen. Noodles are also quite good, perfectly al dente. Added an onsen egg for more flavor and it tasted soooo good with the broth.

Comment: Salmon in spicy miso was very good. Wish the salmon was cooked a little less because after sitting in a hot broth, it seemed to overcook a bit. Otherwise, it was really good with a seared thai green curry sauce on the fish and medium spicy broth.Want to try more here

Comment: First time at Fukurou, it’s very clean and has a nice atmosphere. I got Thai tea, spring rolls and mushroom buns. Everything was absolutely delicious. I’m especially excited to have a spot near by with bao buns and 5 dollar Thai tea. My partner got ramen with pork, he seemed to really enjoy it and the portions were generous. I will definitely visit again.

Comment: Of course my wife Naj found this amazing restaurant for us to eat dinner! As soon as you walk through the door, it is absolutely breathtaking. It is like eating in a botanical garden. There are plants hanging from the ceiling, the walls, and the tables all around the restaurant. Your eyes become fixated on the group of hanging plants in the front of the restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly host and the waiter was very kind and offered his opinions on choices on the menu. The bar tender came over to our table and recommended his choices of cocktails. They were gorgeous to look at and refreshing to drink. The was palatable in our mouths!

Comment: The restaurant is spacious and clean, we escaped the summer heat to get a late lunch. Shi-shi-to peppers is a MUST try. Their House Salad is also very very good (generous portion too).Roasted honey duck is so flavorful. My husband has a restricted diet, he got chicken breast overrice which is so delicious. Sweet Macha Iced tea is lightly sweet and so refreshing for a hot summer day. Lychee Sour = ♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍

Comment: Really awesome, new, casual Japanese fusion spot in Bushwick. The service is great and it’s a nice open space. BYOB with no cork fee so you can just grab cans or bottles of your drink of choice at the bodega next door and bring them in to drink during your dinner! The ramens here are amazing, the French fried nori is SO good, the karraage is solid and the pork Katsu don is tasty. really big portions! It’s a great spot to go out with big groups before a night out.

Comment: Accessibility rating: great! Ramp to the door, wide-open lobby, and railings in the bathroom.My rating: atmosphere is a 10/10. Their tonkatsu ramen isnt to my taste (the pork has a BBQ flavor and theres no egg, plus the wooden spoon has a weird texture) but the mochi is great + beautifully plated and Id recommend the restaurant on that alone. I do wish theyd turn up the lights a bit but theyre obviously trying to be a popular date spot so that probably wont happen. Will definitely be back to try out more of the menu!

Comment: I noticed this new Thai place popped up nearby my place so I decided to give it a shot. Fukurou’s decor is really amazing it’s a mix of rustic and contemporary style makes this place great for intimate date nights. The food here is just fantastic the only reason I gave 4 stars was because their menu had items that I really wanted to try when I arrived but was whited out of the menu in house. Aside from the menu error the customer service was also amazing, long story short don’t let the empty chairs fool you into thinking this place sucks. It’s just a new place trying to build give ‘em a shot you won’t be disappointed.(Unless the change the chef lol) P.S. it’s BRING YOUR OWN BOTTLE
