Comment: Nice trendy restaurant with good sushi, drinks and service! You can’t tell how nice it is from the exterior in this shopping strip. I stopped in for lunch on a Friday and sat at the sushi bar. The lunch special rolls were tasty, salmon tartar was plentiful (although too much soy sauce for me so I scooped it out on a separate plate), and lycheetini was made well. The waitress was super friendly and quick too. I’m looking forward to coming back with the fam to try their hibachi and more drinks!

Comment: This was my 3rd time here and I loved it, they are friendly and try their best to accommodate. My friends and I invited another friend that was visiting from abroad and she was allergic to shrimp which we mentioned to the server however we didnt mention that my other friend due to religious reasons do not eat beef and a member of another party at the same table ordered beef and they were using the same cooking utensils to cook the food so after observing this we mentioned to the staff, and they were very accommodating. Thank you! the food and drinks were good, and the servers were very pleasant.

I’m not sure if that system should be changed and at the end of the experience there can be an option for those who are not paying cash.

My only regret is that I didnt get to try the fried ice cream as I was too full. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. Our food came out rather quickly and was very tasty. This spot seems popular since there were a few groups doing the hibachi and others dining away. Everything was good, the only downside was that the hibachi chef was not that entertaining. He did only a couple of basic tricks and thatss about it. We have been to at least 10 of different hibachi restaurants and the chef at fyhre was really the least entertaining, I watched other tables as well and it was not only our chef, other chefs were very basic as well.

It took like 10-15 mins for the chef to come after we ordered.Chef was super friendly and knew what he was doing. We ordered 3 different combos: chicken/shrimp, angus steak/scallops, and angus steak/salmon along with noodles and fried rice. Streak was perfectly cooked as per our liking and I loved the shrimps and scallops as well. Chicken and salmon were a little overcooked by the time we got them. We also ordered a sashimi salad and I have to say the wasabi dressing was hands down one of the best salad dressing I have had - so light, yet so flavorful.The prices are alright compared to other hibachi restaurants, but they add the service charges on their own so be aware of that. Overall, good to try.

My husband always orders various sushi, I usually get the hibachi chicken or the chicken/steak combo with fried rice, and my son loves hibachi noodles with shrimp. The hibachi meals come with soup, salad, and a shrimp appetizer (2 pieces of shrimp), and I think that is a great deal for the money! The pork dumplings and beef negimaki are really good apps too. You really get a bang for your buck here, I couldnt recommend it more! We are looking forward to dining in for my sons upcoming birthday!

I made a reservation for a Saturday night at 7pm for 11 people but completely forgot about cancelling when my husband received a positive Covid result the morning of. Saturday night rolls around and I received a call from the restaurant at 7:15pm asking where my party of 11 is. I informed them of what happened and the person was very understanding and didn’t give us a hard time at all with our large party no-show. Comment: Hidden gem, Ive lived in Westbury for quite some time and had no idea this place existed. Ive only been to the regular spots on old country rd. This place was fun and bright not gloomy. Went with my family and we had a blast. The food was great everything was fresh, seasoned and cooked to perfection. Bring your appetite, the prices were very fair for the portion.

Comment: Great experience for everyone in the family. Chef put on a fun show. The kids love coming here for the food and the entertainment. We had mushroom soups for starters, followed by a few rolls of sushi to get things started and the main course with steak, chicken and shrimp which were all delicious. Highly recommend dinner here especially during covid when there isn’t much entertainment out there. This place is fun and lively, as well as safe. You feel like you have your own private party going on surrounded by other little parties in the background.

Comment: Hibachi restaurants are fun with an outgoing chef and friendly tablemates and we had both. Truly fun time. Food was good.. salmon was too under for my taste but the steak, shrimp and chicken were all spot on, as were the grilled veg. Many tables .. they seat 8... but not crowded on top of each other so everyone was comfortable. Their bar area looked fun. Will come for happy hour sometime.

My favorite is the kani salad I always double up on it. And there happy hour is something to always talk about. I highly recommend this outrageous place for all your hungry needs. The food is fresh and they have a full size bar in the front. They have their very own yummy sauce and it is exactly what it says it is. A great place to take the family and have a good time with some really good food. We will definitely be going back to this location. There is ample parking in the parking lot. It is located right next to Big Lots off of Glen Cove Road.

Really best Hibachi place Ive been too for the following reasons:#1 - top notch SERVICE (sorry, but havent been to Hibachi place before with decent service)#2 - ATMOSPHERE - contemporary design, like a lounge! Not a cheap looking cheesy place like many... Nice music as well.#3 - FOOD - it starts with a the best freshest ingredients - just look at my pictures - even vegetables look amazing. Sushi rolls melt in your mouth. Hibachi chef (25 years of experience) cooks just how Hibachi supposed to taste with right amount of soy/teryaki sauce, unlike so many other places with too much of soy overpowering just about everything. Even my drink (mango mojito) was amazing.Yes. Its expensive. But if I had a choice, I would rather go to this restaurant rarely, than multiple times to other Hibachi places. The problem is that its too far for me (I was traveling).My son said that he will never look the same at Hibachi experience, comparing everything to this one. Japanese is one of his favorite as well.

Comment: Best Japanese around! Forget Shiros or Benihana or any of the other local places around town. This hibachi is so delicious. The food was not salty at all and the seasoning was perfect. On a Saturday night with a packed house we were served quickly, which was great with 3 young kids! The staff was friendly from the hostess to the wait staff. The interior is decorated nice and contemporary. My son said many times during dinner he never wants to go back to Shiros again. Give this place a try it will be worth your time. It is close to the other bug name places just off the beaten path.

Comment: Very good place to eat with lots of choices. When I went there I found many options and I could barely decide. I decided to get the avocado roll and the king salmon roll. The water let us know what foods where safe to eat since I had a nut allergy. I really enjoyed it and there were good sauces and spices. Comment: I had a really great experience here! I came here on a Saturday night for hibachi, and it wasnt so packed so we were able to enjoy our meal there. Before they started, we were allowed to grab little bites to eat. There were various choices such as fruits and small appetizers. After that, our chef asked us what kind of protein we wanted. I chose beef, and after everyone told him their choices, the show began! I loved how enthusiastic our chef was, and we enjoyed how he served us the foods, especially when he had a baby milk bottle filled with sake, as he squirted it inside our mouths. I would recommend this place if you want a great show for dinner! Besides hibachi, Fyhre also has a sit down area where you could order food if you dont want hibachi.

Comment: If youve been to Lumix in Lynbrook youll love it here as its even more upscale, with the same vibe and I think even the same owners. A bit pricier though, hence the 4 stars instead of 5 but the food was very good. Definitely worth checking out if youre looking for a high end sushi/hibachi spot.

Comment: Let’s start with the lovely ambience.Well lit, absolutely stunning lighting . The interior was over the top perfect to the music being played. The dj played top hits and made me want to dance all night long !
