For the first time we opted to get our food without the hibachi chef cooking it infront of us. We got our soup and salad and after a little while we got our food. I ordered the steak and scallops. Steak was tender, veggies were fine, scallops were definitely tasty and hot. Not a huge portion of seafood in my opinion for $26. Steak and veggies were also not that hot. Felt like room temp to me like they were sitting for a bit. Would have definitely hot and nicer to get it cooked infront of us, but my family wasnt in the mood for all of the singing and yelling and other stuff.

As a kid I loved coming to see the beautiful coy fish and the chefs were always entertaining with good food. As an adult I came back dressed a bit different for a nice dinner a classy drink and enjoying atmosphere. Its always nice to walk around after the meal to enjoy the grounds as well. Each piece was brought stick by stick from Japan. I know they offer private parties in the tea house and being there with friends many times I have always had a good time.

The hammer resulted in my son developing a skull fracture, while the employees kept singing their birthday song! My son was unconscious while I tried to get help, but I was astonished by the situation. The skull fracture has led to many complications inn my sons life and he will likely never move on from this disaster. But I still gave it five stars because the food was delicious.

Comment: Gasho of Japan is a staple restaurant in my family. It has very good cuts of meat,chicken and fish that when ordered hibachi style is cooked right in front of your party. The tables have been redesigned and made smaller to keep six feet distance from other tables for Covid 19 reasons. The combo meals are terrific. I got steak and shrimp combo which included soup and salad. I will say that it is a broth soup with onion and mushrooms and salad is lettuce with a orange flavor dressing. The items here are as is. They have a very specific menu. All of the food is delicious. However the best part of the meal is the entertainment. The chef is highly skilled and is very good at making the experience memorable. They sing, do tricks and make you smile the whole time that they are cooking. The price is about 30 dollars per person without tax so it can get pricey if you have a big party. It is definitely worth the expense so you can get a meal and lasting experience. Gasho is one of the original places to offer this kind of experience. You het alot of food so come hungry. Enjoy.

Comment: I wish I had more time to write how amazing this past visit was (every time Ive been here has been great, but Jan 24, 20 was exceptional). My 13 year old daughter requested hibachi for her birthday dinner with a couple of her friends and Gasho did not disappoint. I had misgivings at first, knowing the prices Id pay and the 30 minute drive from my house. But at least this was a place I had been to before and never left unhappy. But, this time, we will remember her birthday dinner forever. The chef had me laughing so hard I could barely eat the amazing food. At least 3 times I was cracking up to the point of that red-faced, cant see, silent laughter. With receptives tables, I noticed the chefs tried harder to entertain. He pulled out all the stops, showed off tons of tricks for the kids to video, and chatted with the adults in between. More wait staff joined in and sang Happy Birthday in English and then Japanese with cake and ice cream. Im grateful that specific dinner was so memorable. Thank you for making our night so amazing!

We started receiving onion soup and a salad easily within 15 mins of seating down.But that was the last time pretty much for an hour before she came back to refill drinks. We were left until the cook showed up an hour later.Food was good. Had chicken and steak combo, w/ fried rice. The chef was ok, however he created a horrible Onion Volcano 🌋. Wasnt very...blowtorchy. More just onions on fire 🔥.Busiest Ive seen the place in awhile, which is good, but they need somebody just walking around to refill. Its atrocious it took an hour to get a refill and a cook. But food is good.

Comment: I visited here for a birthday celebration. The show was great (lots of big flames and of course the infamous onion volcano. I had the Samurai Steak with hibachi rice. The rice was delicious and the steak was, too! Samurai Steak is enormous (16 oz!) so make sure youre hungry when you order! They also easily accommodated our large 12 person party. I look forward to coming again!

Sushi was delicious and fresh also. Service was fine star, the waitress was very accommodating and efficient. I highly recommend this place. Kid friendly also!

We had a great Chef and the food was very tasty.My only complaint was figuring out where the main entrance was as parking is In the back and there are no signs to direct you.Other than that.... I think it was Great!Ill be back

Comment: I have been here on several occasions over the last 10 years. The food is always excellent. The chefs put on a nice show and make any special occasions great . Took my son here tonight for his birthday and they sang Happy birthday and made him feel special. The food tasted awesome and they had large portions. They renovated since last time I was there and the place looks great. Good value, good food, great for groups.

Comment: My family has been coming to Gasho for years. They offer more affordable prices and larger servings than their popular competition. The wait staff is attentive, courteous, and accommodating.As with other hibachi restaurants, the chefs prepare your food in front of you with fresh ingredients, as well as offer you entertainment as they prepare.While Gasho is not what I would consider authentic Japanese cuisine, the food is very good and filling. I highly recommend Gasho of Japan to anyone, either as a romantic dinner for two or an dinner date for the entire family.

Comment: I am going to start off by saying that this place charges for soda fountain refills. I have never had an issue at any other restaurant before.This place is pretty good otherwise. It is entertaining to watch the chef cook the food and serve it. The prices are a little bit on the high end, but I feel it is worth it. The food is delicious and It is a great idea for dates and birthday parties.
