We had multiple servers checking in on us and getting us our order in a timely manner. Thank you, Geisha management, for hearing us and making changes. We love your food and now the service to match!My wife and I are frequent customers of Geisha Asian Fusion and we always love our food. The prices have recently gone up and the lunch specials have changed in their customization ability. We usually pick up food due to the quality of service when we sit in the restaurant. The food is worth us going even with the questionable service. Service is slow, unorganized, and honestly comical. We always go into the restaurant not expecting much and we are never disappointed. With the prices increasing and having less overall options, the quality of the service needs to increase as well. We just finished up lunch there and it was hardly bearable. Thankfully, we were mildly paid attention to by service staff while 3 other tables were ignored for 30+ min. We will be back (for pick up only).

I sat at the bar, and ordered the fried calamari $9 which looked like onion rings. It was shaped round, good crispy taste served with a brown sauce. And a gyoza plate, $4 fried served with dumpling sauce. I opted for a cold sake bottle $16 instead of drink specials. Together with tip, $39. Staff was friendly and good customer service. Great vibes. Would definitely visit again.

Service is kind and quite fast! If you’re picky with where you initially get seated (like I can be), the owner and staff are very accommodating (depending on how busy it is at the moment of course). But I personally appreciate this very much!The establishment is very well taken care of. It’s clean, modern looking with a fun “lounge” vibe to it with Japanese art on the walls.FYI: 18% gratuity is included already when you get your receipt.But it is done in an honest manner, because there are stickers on the menu that clearly state it.And the owner also mentioned it when he handed over the receipt.The only negative thing I have to say is that I’m bummed out I don’t live closer!🥲(We live a few stops away with the A train)I’d pick up sushi every week here if it was walking distance from where we live.I definitely recommend everyone to give Geisha a try when craving sushi or Asian fusion foods!

They might have THEE BEST happy hour in the neighborhood ($5 vodka club!) Visited on a Sunday and were warmly greeted by their kind host and then sat down and were taken care of by a kind and attentive waitress and her bus team. We ordered two cocktails each and shared 4 or 5 of their happy hour appetizers and they were all DELICIOUS! Highly recommend ANY of their dumplings but the PORK DUMPLING was incredible. I am so excited to have found this place and wish it ALL the success!

Comment: Met here because it was between Edgewater where my friend was staying and UWS where I live.The area you walk through to get here is not fantastic and street is littered with soliciters, but the restaurant was a welcome oasis from the street.We sat next to a speaker and only had to speak up a bit. I have a voice that doesnt carry and speaking up can tire me out, but it wasnt a problem here.The portions, especially for lunch, are more than generous. We had such a great time for a truly incredible value. Presentation is above and beyond.

I ordered the duck roll and it was the bomb, the kitchen was not skimpy with the meat and I enjoyed every bit of it. The service was great, food came at a decent waiting time. Comment: Loved Geisha. Went for lunch with a friend and got the 3 roll lunch special + 2 special rolls. We did the avocado, sweet potato, and shrimp tempura rolls for the lunch special and the coco shrimp and Hamilton rolls. We also got the Geisha rangoons as an app. They were so good and perfectly crispy.Everything was so delicious and fresh and not ridiculously over priced.The servers were all very attentive and sweet. Would definitely go back!

They need to label their online menu for vegetarian/vegan items bc I just wasted 20 dollars on a meal that won’t be eaten, sadly.

Comment: From the drinks to the food everything was amazing and surprisingly not too pricey. I was shocked when I saw our bill whic was $560 however when spilt between all 12 it was a little less than $50 per person. They have a live DJ not too loud but enough that you can hear the music and be able to have a conversation. This place is very intimate so its great for couples but also great for a small crowd. Also has a bar area to sit. I promise I will upload more pictures when I go back. Been here twice and both times it was great. My new favorite spot.

Comment: This place is all around great! I had 2 of their customized bento box’s, which is an awesome option to have, and the shrimp tempura/general tso’s chicken was tasty. Including all the options that came in the bento box, in addition to being great portion sizes. Had the drunken noodles and pad see ew, both tasted great. The clincher was the thin dumpling wrappers in the wonton soup and mini dumpling app, the way it should be. Rather than having a mouthful of dough, the dumplings tasted light and flavorful because of the filling. Excited to continue trying out the rest of the menu :)

Comment: After my 3rd time here in a week, I decided I needed to leave a review. This place is exactly what we needed here in Washington Heights. An extremely solid Japanese restaurant with great prices and service. The owner, Sandra made us feel right st home the first time we came. The oysters are always gorgeous and served with lovely tobiko. The specialty rolls are filling and flavourful and high quality. The lunch bento is phenomenal and amazingly priced for the amount and quality of food received. The lunch sushi special is also amazing as well. I love it All! Can’t wait to keep coming here at least once a week!
