The staff (Thomas and Ting) is amazing and knows our preferences while also great at recommendations. Best dishes to try include the following: Thai Coconut Curry, Salmon Teriyaki, Spicy Vegan Ramen (dont let the word vegan fool you -- flavors are legit), sashimi duo, chirashi, all the specialty rolls, and Udon Stir Fry. Many more on the menu that are delicious but those are our go-tos.

Comment: I cant believe I have never left a google review for this, one of my all time favorite Sushi restaurants in Westchester. Absolutely adore Ginban, their food and their service is top notch. My daughter and I either dine in or order take out from there every other week. Tommy there, treats us like his family. Highly recommend for amazing, fresh and expertly executed sushi rolls, beautifully cut sashimi and their desserts are perfection. The atmosphere is cool and casual. I have been bringing my daughter there since she was 5 when I introduced her to the wonderful world of Sushi.Their hot food is incredible too, so I have been told, I always get the sushi. My current favorite is the Sushi Sandwich, so yummy!If you havent tried them and you like sushi, you must choose Ginban as your new sushi destination!

We ordered the tom yam soup, rock shrimp tempura, crispy calamari, pepper tuna tataki, yellowtail jalapeño pizza, and sashimi ceviche as appetizers to share and they were all delicious. For entrees we ordered the sushi and sashimi combo, dancing dragon roll and spicy girl roll, toro sushi and eel sushi, teriyaki steak, grilled Chilean sea bass, and pad Thai and udon which we enjoyed last time. The food is really good and the quality is the same if not better than last time. The manager Thomas made sure we had a great time and checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our meal and we really did. Highly recommend!Original review from February 2022: Very spacious and nicely furnished sushi restaurant. The sushi rolls were delicious, nicely wrapped and presented. The sashimi was also very fresh. We also ordered the pad thai and udon and they were also delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the area, the atmosphere is also perfect for date night.

Comment: Our fave place for sushi (and other things) outside of manhattan...were grateful we live close by!always excellent everything, whether sushi, sashimi, hot entrees, especially the omakase, they are very creative.the gm always takes care of us, comping different things each time. after having gone there frequently over the last 7 years, we just found out we can special order items that are not on the menu (you have to do it several days in advance) like live uni, which was excellent! they really know what they are doing.an all around great place...we love ginban!update: its been 14 years now since weve been coming to ginban (wow!) we still love the place, and some of the updates theyve made to the menu (a few new appetizers, like tuna carpaccio and fried tofu skin, love!!) just wish theyd add some more new items, something different...wed love to try some new things. but quality and service still excellent.

Recommended that you bring a jacket as it was unusually cold inside the restaurant.The menu is reasonably priced and has the types of food you would expect from an Asian restaurant/ bistro, including sushi and grilled.overall good value.Adequate parking outside, though you may have to walk a bit. Comment: Visiting from Charlotte, obviously New York has better asian food options among many other things, but i have gotten used to one of our local restaurants, Malaya Kitchen, being the best Asian food anywhere. So, expectations were high when trying Ginban, but the restaurant certainly exceeded them. I ordered Mongolian Beef, with was excellent with a great blend of sweet and savory. The next day I came back to try their Hibachi steak, which was served cooked to order, very tender, and with lots of flavor. I even had their sushi, which I can say is very good as well. The great service is the icing on the cake. I would highly recommend Ginban, as it is a Judes Joints Certified restaurant.

Have taken co-workers, friends and family for lunch, dinner and business meetings. Clean great service. Drink specials are really good. Must try everything on the menu if not just ask Thomas for suggestions. If youre ever disappointed it may just not have been your day. It happens. Weve never been disappointed. Any leftovers my daughter Angela will always eat even for breakfast. Also enjoy the conversations with the staff and at the same time the privacy they know how to give. Enjoy!!!!

Wonderful imaginative sushi rolls with a large variety and some made with duck and steak instead of raw fish. The waitresses are very pleasant and efficient. Even the Chinese food, for those who are not great fish lovers, is really good. The setting is cozy and the seats are really comfortable. Always a great place for a date.
