Comment: I came here for a quick bite after work on a Monday night. The restaurant was pretty empty, but the kitchen was busy to fulfill all the online + takeout orders. I ordered the chicken thigh teriyaki bowl. It was prepared very quickly—was ready in about 5 minutes after ordering. It was pretty good, but not amazing. Good portions though! The restaurant’s interior is fairly minimal, but the seating cushions were not very clean, so I didn’t feel great about dining in. Either way, not a bad spot for a quick meal!

Comment: I love coming here for lunch the staff is very kind, quick and friendly. The food is always delicious and fresh, it gets pretty crowded here during lunch but it clears out fast. My only complaint would be the white rice is mushy and over cooked but that’s okay you come here for the salmon and other proteins which are always on point. Someone from the staff is always organizing the seating and wiping down the tables too which is nice :).

Comment: Very standard, but supreme quick service spot. Great if you are in a rush or are super hungry. I ordered the combo plate with both chicken breast and thigh over white rice. Very tasty, it did get the job done and fueled me up. Enjoyed it to the last bite, as the portion size was superior, for the price, its just simply unbeatable. Service is what I deducted points for, as it was average for a quick-service joint as the cashier who takes orders had a reaction that I can tell that she wasnt really into taking pride in her job. The options are immense, as each plate can be customized to each customers specifications. Happy that they are very flexible to accomodate customers needs, wants or dietary restrictions. Overall, the food was solid and tasty.

There are different spice levels for the Teriyaki sauce. All of them are good. If you want to skip carbs, then you have the rice bowl over salad. Very good with the carrot-ginger dressing. Brought a co-worker one day and they thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Long lines during lunch-time but service is pretty quick. Can also order ahead through seamless/grubhub.

I was not in the mood for the usual and thought about what I havent eaten in awhile. Teriyaki dishes came to mind. I get on Google, do a search near my address and lo and behold I find one 1 block away. The reviews are great so I headed up to try it myself.The venue is small. Sits maybe around 12-15 people in total. Some of the counters are old style and antique looking. Not expensive antique just old but still nice overall. I walk to stand in line behind only 1 person that is ordering. I read the menu above and decide what to get. The menu selection is pretty simple... Teriyaki dishes served with your different choice of meats or vegeterian options. They also have a few side dishes from steamed endamame to crispy gyoza dumplings and a few more. If you really have an appetite you can also choose to double your meat (or veggies) or get a combo, which includes salad with 3 options for dressing on the side, white or brown rice, and if you want the teriyaki sauce hot, spicy or regular.I went along with Combo #2. This includes the teriyaki entree with salad and one side. I chose the crispy gyoza dumplings (veggie). The order was ready in about 5-6 minutes after I ordered it, which made me widen my eyes at how quick they prepared it.I took my meal and walked back to the office. Sat down, opened up the containers and took the aroma. It did smell great. I decided to try the dumplings first. Very Very awesome. Had them plain and with soy sauce and loved them either way. Then I went in on the salad after pouring my carrot ginger dressing over it. Very good. If you had salad with ginger dressing before, this wont be new, but still complimented the meal very well overall. Then I went in on the chicken and rice and liked it very much. The sauce is a bit strong in taste, but if your mouth is savoring that kind of dish, then you will appreciate it.Overall, I was content with the meal and knowing they are only 1 block away walking distance, I will go back more often and try their other dishes like pork loins or seasoned tofu.Check it out if you are in the vicinity. Its really good if you love teriyaki dishes.

Both had this nice caramelized and charred thing going on while still be tender and juicy. I liked the brown vs white rice option and the side salad is fresh too.The beer is cheap! They have one draft beer that was light and fruity for $2! That meant I drank two. Thanks Glaze for the great dinner! By the way, if you think you smelled grilled meats when you are walking on 13th near 4th ave its this place! My boyfriend and I have been trying to figure out what smells so good when we pass that corner. Bingo Glaze is the winner.

Comment: I stopped by here on a whim during a sales call one day in midtown east. It was SO good. I just wish they had a midtown west location that was actually midtown WEST and not midtown central. They also have a location around 14th street. Glad to see them growing, and cant wait until they expand just a little more.-blasianFMA

Comment: Mouth Watering!!!!! Decent servings at lunch prices (for midtown NY). I had the 2 teriyaki combo with brown rice. They could have given a little more teriyaki sauce, but I was impressed that it wasnt over done or high in salt like most teriyaki sauces Ive had over the years. I was also pleasantly surprised that the ginger dressing also was low salt with a nice smokey taste.

Comment: Great price for a well-balanced meal. The salad could be fresher/more plentiful, and the other sides are overpriced for what they are, but the meal/combo meals are total steals whether for lunch or dinner. I recommend getting the sauce on the side, since it can get pretty salty.

Comment: You wouldnt think it from the window outside, but its a teriyaki place, instead of some high-end Korean place. Oddly enough, the beef isnt the best thing on the menu-- The tofu is.The sauce they use is a dark, sweet teriyaki glaze, which they drizzle over their food, after grilling it. This gives the tofu a light crisp, with a savory sweet taste over rice. The ginger dressing aint too bad either. They have punch cards for a free combo, every once awhile. :D
