Comment: Heartbroken that I left my takeout bag at my friend’s place 😭 This place is solid I’ve never had a plate that was less than good and I’ve been eating here since 2013, 2014. I miss the natto that was once on the menu but I understand, it isn’t for everyone. Both cutlets and shrimp were crispy, the rice is sticky but not overly so, the curry sauce tastes of discernible spices with a tinge of sweetness that complements the sauce zagged across the top. What more could you want?

Comment: Great place for a tasty, reasonably priced, and low waste meal. I like Gogo Curry because it’s a fast casual spot that uses real plates (no cardboard and no plastic) if you dine in. They have disposable chopsticks and plastic forks available, so if you really want to be zero waste, you can bring your own cutlery. It’s a small space and they have limited seating.

Comment: Great flavor and great amount of curry! I’ve tried many famous curry brands in New York, and this fits in my taste the best. This may not give you native Japanese flavor or native Indian flavor or so, but it is really tasty for a person who was not born in a country that has a curry tradition. Recommend!! 👍

Comment: Employees are very friendly and helpful with good attitude, food is always tasty and cooked well. Great place for MealPal too but they dont include cabbage if you use MealPal. Not a lot of space to dine in, there are about eight counter seats total.

Comment: One of my favorite favorite places to get takeout from. The katsu curry is a classic and both options, chicken or pork, taste good. Their curry sauce tastes so unique and unlikely the curry at many other Japanese places. Many times I’ll even just get the curry and rice only. The space at this particular location is very tight and I’ve never had the chance to eat in. But that makes a nice excuse to grab food and picnic at the nearby Washington Square park instead!

Comment: Ive given 4 stars for good reason. Best value youll get in a Japanese curry meal. Pretty standard curry and katsu, lots of small add ons (I like this) - gyoza, fried shrimp, sausage etc. - all at a very good price. Lovely hole in the wall type joint. Perfect for a quick fix by yourself or go and sit side by side with a few buddies. Enjoy.

Comment: I had heard about Go Go Curry from multiple people but never had the chance to try it out. However, one day I got a coupon for a free Home Run Curry so decided to give it a shot. The serving was huge! And you could tell by the long line of customers it was worth the wait. The fried chicken was my favorite part but every aspect of the dish worked together well. Will definitely be back for lunch to try more of the menu!

I felt bad since we had so many orders!Food was awesome. Im really grateful to have a place where its cheap and delicious. I was a little bit thrown off though because I wanted to share a double, but they dont give you more meat just more rice. I wasnt aware that you can buy a pork cutlet as a topping as opposed to buying another meal for that 2nd piece of meat! Just a FYI for others who wants to share one of those dishes!
