My local Go Go Curry is pretty rundown and serves terrible food, so I wanted to order from this location to see if there was a difference in taste and portions. Was definitely worth trying! The food was delicious and the cutlets had a decent thickness to them! Will be ordering from this location again.

Comment: So much better than I remember. I had gogo curry years ago, and thought it was too salty, finally just felt like giving it another shot and the katsu are actually juicy and fried and seasoned well, curry has actual flavor rather than salt, tempura is very light and puffy crunchy and sausages got the right snap. Def get a grand slam to try everything.

Comment: An Americanized version of an excellent Japanese chain. Every Go Go in Japan gives you all the Fukujinzuke you want. Its my favorite part of the curry Here you have to pay $2 for it. The sauce was right but there were no spice options like in Japan. The cabbage was shredded too thick.Also there are no chopsticks available.I love Go Go, but please dont try to Americanize it.

The katsu is honestly better than 90% of fancy Japanese restaurants katsu.The only downside is that the go go curry theme song is extremely catchy and you will never get it out of your head once you stand in line for 2 minutes there.

Comment: I was having such a crummy day so I ventured out into the world to find food and I passed this guy sitting on his stoop with a steaming plate of goodness and I asked him what it was. He told me the service was quick too and he was right! I ordered the tonkatsu and it was a great way to get a filling meal. I think the only thing I would have done or will do next time is get a pickled veg to cut the saltiness. I also made a friend that day and joined the guy on the stoop. CURRY BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER

Comment: I came across this by searching maps for curry rice. It was a pleasant surprise to find a restaurant nearby dedicated to selling curry rice. We tried the pork katsu and the fish. Both tasted good and authentic. The restaurant does have dine in. I recommend the large size as the small and medium may be insufficient if you are hungry. Price wise, its very reasonable.

Comment: Inconsistent. One time they gave me bland tasting curry. It was like water. I think the chef forgot to taste his own cooking. I actually called and let the guy know, but I think a lot of people had some weird curry that night. I know and love gogocurry but this location had a slip up.EDIT: They gave me a refund, super nice of them! Ive seen gone back and its been back to normal goodness.

I actually ordered with the Ritual app when they were having a promotion and I ordered from the app and went to the store for pickup. The medium size was a hefty portion, the katsu was fried perfectly and crispy (not oily at all! Got to love panko.)They give free shredded cabbage with your order if you want, and the takeout container is mostly paper and the only plastic thing is the lid. Yay for minimal plastic and more eco friendly packaging! I will definitely come back for great katsu curry.
