Comment: Their prices have gone way up in the past few months since I started going there. ~25% higher for a Home Run with chicken- $16.95 to $20.95 honestly, its a high price to pay for what is considered Japanese comfort food. aside from that, its one of my favorite things to eat but with the price increase, I will be making my curry at home because I cant justify spending over $20 for a lunch.

Would recommend more sauce, but I bet thats an extra cost.The wait was not that long seeing how there was a huge line. Service was quick too. One of the workers greeted us by saying irasshaimase, which was surprising and nice. Far too crowded to stay in and eat, so I will be bringing the food home with me next time. Comment: Go Go Curry is definitely one of the best Japanese curry shops in NYC. Wonderful sauce with a subtle sweetness, not too salty or spicy, just the right amount of everything. It’s pork based, so vegetarians/vegans should avoid. I don’t think they have any substitutes. There’s plenty of toppings to customize your curry though, so despite the lack of alterations to the curry, you can still have a different experience every time. Curries are served with cabbage (free to ask for more) that you can mix up with the curry and it’s totally delicious.Katsu are usually fried to a perfect crispness. Chicken and pork are tasty, shrimp is crunchy and fresh, the tofu is surprisingly delicious and I recommend that for fans of tofu. And, today J was surprised by how delicious the vegetable tempura was. A small crisp, nice batter with vegetables chopped into indiscriminate pieces, and seasoned perfectly. There are cold toppings too, like pickled vegetables and natto if interested.One complaint is mediocre packaging for take out. Everything is placed together, which makes their wonderfully crunchy katsu soggy within minutes.To sum up, great curry. Delicious and consistent every single time.

To all you Manhattan residents, you are the only people outside of Japan that can experience real Japanese Curry Go-Go style. I was glad visit Manhattan because otherwise I would not have gotten such a fantastic meal. If you are up for it, I reccommend getting the Grand Slam Platter. Its a lot of food but its the best way to sample what the restaurant has to offer. I reccommend getting a side of every topping as the menu is small but really works together.

The place gets really busy around lunch time and theres not enough seating so most people just have their lunch orders to go. Comment: I love Go! Go! Curry! They serve a slim variety of foods, all basically curry with different toppings. However, they taste authentic to Japanese curry, and are priced fantastically with the competitive stores in the area (it is hard to find anything reasonable in Fulton).I love coming here with friends and splitting a meal. The Home Run and Grand Slam can satisfy 2-4 people depending on portion sizes (but if youre feeling particularly depressed, you can get one for yourself. No judgement here). They recently raised their prices but its still cheap.

I dont know the history behind it, but what this restaurant sells are meals with a fried Pork or Chicken cutler, with a brown curry sauce (mild,) white rice, a kielbasi sausage, a hard boiled egg, a shrimp tempura, and a bean sprout salad. Additional toppings include cheddar cheese and various pickled items. The end result is very unique and very good.Vegetarian options available.The restaurant is small.

I got one call saying Hello the delivery is downstairs So I went and the man looked so angry he showed me he called me 3 times said he was waiting and I said I didnt receive them. He was showing me the number that was not my number. The security guard in my building was so angry too.Anyways, the price is so awesome and the food is the closest thing to comfort food I can find in the area. Really great especially if you are sick of the Ny style Deli which is all their seems to be or very Asian food. And the people were so nice last time I stopped in. I just really hope I didnt ruin that guys day.

Comment: I was quite surprised to find the restaurant packed with diners when I arrived. It is a very small place, about 10 tables. Most people take out but I decided to eat there. There is a large extensive menu of everything with curry. I chose to try the Grand Slam. There is enough food for two people, but it is a sampling of almost everything. Two sausages, chicken, shrimp, and egg, along with a large rice and curry. It was surprisingly good. I would go back. Prices are extremely reasonable. The food is fresh because it is a very popular dining room. There is chicken, shrimp, egg, pork, rice, and of course curry. There offer a few platters. The staff is very friendly.

Comment: Came here when it first opened and because I was one of their 555 customers for their grand opening, I only paid 55 cents for my Go Go Curry! Even without the huge discount, Go Go Curry has affordable dishes that is suitable for everyones budget. If youre a fan of curry, then youll be a fan of Go Go Curry. In my opinion, the curry that they serve is not spicy at all, so you dont need to worry about burning your entire mouth. The place is rather small during rush hours, but service is quick fast. Their curry dishes here are always a GRAND SLAM, so I wouldnt mind trying all the Go Go Curries that they have!
