Comment: We had almost the freshest and best sashimi ever. Too bad we are not local. I am not a fan of hibachi, and if you go there, note that their tables are mixed and you will see and hear those hibachi performances, no big deal for us but if you are seeking romantic and quietness, it is not that. The service could improve somewhat in that our first server asked what do you want?, yes, just like that, bluntly. Really? Maybe its her English but there are so many other ways to ask a customer politely. Some other servers also came over and checked on us and they were more polite and friendly. All in all, I recommend this place for good fresh sashimi and sushi.

Offers Teppanyaki style and individual tables .Fresh sashimi, sushi, nice touch with complimentary oshinko, shrimp/vegetable tempura, light and fresh, delicious, gyoza fried well. Yaki-tori (chicken) would taste better if grilled instead of boiled and sauce added. ingredients fresh and chef is very accommodating if you have food allergy they will make sure you are happy. Nice size portions also a plus. You wont leave hungry. You wont be disappointed if you stop by for a bite. $$$

Comment: Affordable tasty sushi and sashimi! Went here on valentines day and had a great time. There was a group of four doing Hibachi a few tables away and that was fun to watch :-). Overall the price was affordable (considering we ordered the Sushi + Sashimi boat for 2, as well as cocktails/Sake).One of the sashimi was not completely defrosted BUT the salmon was so freaking good I still give this place 5 stars. Oh- and our server was absolutely wonderful :-) Will definitely be coming back!

Comment: Delicious food, and great atmosphere in the historic kingston waterfront district.Whether your looking for classic Japanese-american faire, or dinner and a show with hibachi this is one of the best spots in kingston.Wait staff were super attentive and polite, and the fish was fresh and refreshing. I love that they brought pickled cucumber to the table as an appetizer and pineapple chunks at the end.My date had the shrimp tempora, which was fried to perfection, and I ate an entire sushi boat for 2 that was super tasty and exquisitely prepared. Also had was some edamame and baby octopus.The entire meal was great and I loved the atmosphere of hibachi everyone was having so much fun!Would definitly recommend and cant wait to come back with a bigger party for hibachi.

I found their sauces to lack flavor and their cucumber salad was made like a day before, because the cucumbers were limp... also I feel giving out canned pineapple is just lazy and feels like something you get at a buffet, if your gonna give out something to add to the meal, then put effort into it or don’t do it at all! This place also needs an update the decor is crooked and wrinkled up and photos all over the walls of previous guests and the ceiling tiles are very nasty needs a deep clean and some new carpet/flooring. So the atmosphere and the things that come with your meal (soup, salad, and pineapple dessert?) lol we’re not up to par...I’d rather I’ve just not got them ...so I give it one less star. The things I did order were good!

Comment: My wife and I decided to eat here as we hadnt been in several years. I was a bit apprehensive from several other reviews. The server, manager, and the cook were very friendly. I made reservations and got there about 10 minutes early. The place was pretty empty, which is strange for a Friday evening. We were seated at a hibachi table as requested almost immediately. Water was provided, and we waited until they seated eight others at the table, fairly quickly. Drink orders were taken and we then we waited several minutes for the cook to come over and set up.he put in a pretty good show, albeit a little corny. Everyones food was then cooked and served. It was pretty good, though a little salty for me. Over all this place is pretty good.

Comment: Heather was the best waitress we ever had and was completely deserving of the tip we gave, I went here for my birthday and the food was great and I really enjoyed the show. We had a lot of laughs and ultimately it was a fantastic time! Heather if you are reading this cheers from the corner table by the window on March 9th

Comment: Came here for my birthday and did the hibachi. The food was absolutely incredible, and the chef was lively and nice. They brought out dessert for my birthday and even gave me a gift card at the end. Love this place!

Comment: This is one of the best Hibachi experiences Ive had; sometimes I feel they can be cheesy but this one has really entertaining chefs. Me and a few of my friends had a great time. The food was fantastic and drinks were good. I would go back anytime!

Comment: Ive been here more times than I can count and have yet to be disappointed. The sushi and sushimi are always completely fresh, impeccably cut and the portions are generous. The hibachi puts on a fun show and the resulting food is fantastic. The prices for the quality are very reasonable.When you go, dont worry too much about budget. You are already indulging, so just spend a little more and get what you really want. There is a big difference.

Comment: Some of the best sushi/sashimi I can remember having recently, if not of all time. Get some salmon sashimi and it will be your best decision. The sushi/sashimi preparer is top notch and they have a great hibachi cook. Nothing but great things to say about Golden Ginza.
