Comment: This was my first Japanese BBQ experience and I have to say, it set the bar pretty high!We made a reservation for 12pm and sat immediately. It wasn’t crowded. The staff were friendly and attentive. We caught the happy hour special (11-6 daily). The food came out in a reasonable amount of time even though we took long to order because the menu was extensive.We ordered the value course for 2 people.Starters:1. Miso soup: classic, good, wasn’t hot (4) enough but I still slurped it down2. Salad: nice flavor from the sesame dressing, eggs were a nice touch3. Edamame: good, not too salty4. Cream Cheese Wontons: so happy it didn’t have crab, filling was good - can taste the green onion, sweet chili cause was great with it.4. Corn: acquired taste5. Friend bacon chips: absolutely divine, so thin and crispy, not saltyMains:1. Filet mignon: okay, not marinated, only had salt and pepper2. Angus beef: good but not my favorite3. Toro: loved the marinate, cooked up nicely4. Yaki Shabu: star of the show, so thin, so tender, the marinade was DIVINE, nice balance of flavorAll this was eaten with white rice which I die for on the regular. Came with assorted veggies: zucchini (really good on the grill), mushrooms, plain corn, and shishito pepper.Dessert:1. Smores: you one each, basic smore, would pay for it (we used a reward from the app)Get the app. Scan your receipts to get points to use.Overall, I loved this place so much and can’t wait to return!!!!!

Comment: What a fascinating place! Its kind of a combination between a hibachi and a fondue restaurant. The food here is simply amazing. For the appetizers we had edamame, beef with rice, pork dumplings, and this incredible gyu-kaku salad. For the main, we cooked all different kinds of beef such as skirt steak, filet, and beef sirloin.....all of it marinated and very tasty. The shrimp and pork were also delicious. Very fun place with delicious food. If youre hungry, you cant go wrong here.

Comment: The experience is an interesting one where you are cooking your own food at the middle of your table! If you feel like just sitting back relaxing and being waited on and served def dont opt for this place... unless that is you go with someone who will handle all the cooking! 😉 The meat was all very fresh and tender. We got the Chef special for 2, which includes a very nice salad, kimchi, beef rice, and beef sushi along with the assorted meats. The waiter was very professional, helpful, and attentive. For dessert we had chocolate lava cake and green tea ice cream and hot green tea. 😋 The place was very crowded on a Saturday night 🌙 but the staff are efficient. Comment: I had such a great lunch here with friends the other day! We made a reservation so we got in right away. There were a good bit of spots open but if you have a large group like we did I think it’s best to do the res! We were a group of 6 and got drinks and the value course to start with. I was actually really glad to find out we could order that because I assumed we’d have to order the larger one for 6 people so I think that’s something people should know. We also ordered several different chicken meat choices to add to this and a ton of appetizers. We got the edamame (one free with a Yelp check in!), kimchi, fried dumplings, steamed dumplings, cheese corn, cheese wontons, and spicy addicting cucumber. It was so fun catching up with friends and cooking food together. It was so chaotic with them bringing stuff at random and everyone grabbing stuff/ putting it on the grill but it was so worth it. Everything was so good with the exception of the cheese corn. I thought it was really watery for some reason. I definitely recommend this place with a group of friends so you can try so many different things and not break the bank!(I forgot to take pictures at some point because it was so chaotic!)

We sat on the bar and ordered a few drinks but my guests got a little impatient and surely the gentlemen and host apologized for the delay and when we were finally seated they said they apologize and comped our drinks on the House. The service was excellent from that point on. I bring my family and business clients here all the time. Food and experience is excellent if you disregard the wait times. They are the most professional yet friendly people you will encounter in this cold world. I am so happy she was the one serving us yesterday and that he took the time to come tu our table, greet us and offer his services if anything else was needed.Since it was our first time trying Japanese bbq, they explained everything very detailedly. Every time there was a different plate coming to the table, they would inform what it was, how to cook and for how long. I really enjoyed this experience and how they treated us throughout.We ordered the Chefs Favorite Combo, unfortunately they didnt have any more Filet Mignon, which was included in the combo. But they came to our table to inform us in case we wanted to change our minds in regards of the combo and offered to swap it for our choice of meat. The manager himself recommended us the Princess Kalbi* filet and it really exceeded my expectations. It was so tender, juicy and mouthwatering, it was really a good deal.I really enjoyed our choice of combo and really wish well be back soon.As per Covid Measures, this is the first restaurant I visit in the US that I witnessed REALLY REALLY taking the bull by the horns. They are enforcing social distancing, all the tables are separated by a plastic curtain, they ask you certain questions and take your temperature prior to let you in the restaurant, they also provide a ziplock bag to each person in the party to put their mask in it, they are really sanitizing between customers and this is the first restaurant I visit really ensuring your safety and doing everything in theirs hands to keep the restaurant safe.The ambiance was great, the employees were awesome, so polite, professional and friendly, it was a perfect combination of little things that made our visit so pleasing.I cant wait to be back and 1000% recommend this place!!!

The set came with a deliciously dressed salad, 3 miso soups, fried calamari (not the best), buttered corn, different cuts of meats(chicken, pork, beef), three huge bowls of rice, mushrooms, cheese fondue, and smore’s. There was a reasonable wait given that we came on a saturday for dinner. However, the food was served in a timely manner. Our server was kind and approachable. Comment: Heard a lot about this place and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The waitress was very nice and attentive. She guided us through what I thought was an overwhelming menu. The food was seasoned very well and the appetizers were great. The mixed drinks very also very good. On top of everything else we had a great time cooking our own food on the table top grill.

Comment: This place literally changes your culinary life. The flavors amazing, happy hour is a tremendous value, and the staff at every location are fantastic. Try the Lychee Mojito! The Hangar Steak is ethereal. The two cabbage salads are incredible. You will end up craving them for days, and coming back again as soon as you can!

Comment: I went to this Gyukaku in White Plains for lunch. I ordered 2 BBQ items lunch set and substituted one of the meats to Gyutan (beef tongue) and the rice to Beef Sukiyaki bibimbap rice for a total of $20 including tax and tips. I loved the meats. And you can cook to what you want the meat to be, which is awesome. Especially the beef fat, as the fat dripping in the grill, the fire comes up 🔥. If you cook it to the perfection, the fat tastes like cripsy bacon fat. Really really good. The place also offer all you can eat which is something I would like to try one day.

Comment: Good Food and Fun for the Family! Our family went here for New Years Eve as we have for the past 3 years. The food is good, it is an interactive experience with a barbecue grill, cooking at your own table. If you are choosing the ALL you can eat menu, you have 90 minutes to order the food (you can take your time eating the food), it was about $50 an Adult, $20 per Child for the premium menu. You have to eat everything otherwise you are charged extra for what you leave over. This is not a cheap meal, so if you go, make sure that you and your guests are hungry. Our favorite is NY Strip Steaks and Filet Mignon (Rib Eye is VERY fatty) Chicken Teriyaki, Shrimp and Salmon. ALSO the Garlic Fried Rice is great, it comes out in a sizzling hot bowl, ket it sit and cook in the bowl to get crispy!!! Have fun... We had a waitress and her name was Bea, and she was the best waitress that we have ever had in this restaurant.

Comment: This place has a great vibe to it. We took our friend here to begin her bachelorette party and she had a fantastic time; we all loved the drink and food. Also helps that their specials were fairly priced and the amount of meat and veggies provided was very filling. I only took away a star because we felt a bit rushed throughout our dinner.

Comment: Good all you can eat place in the area. Best choices are the bistro hanger steak, harami miso skirt steak and the basil chicken breast from the ultimate side of the menu (pics attached). Also added picture of the hours, last call is about 30 min prior to close.

Comment: This was a fun experience. Having the happy hour options is a serious draw to coming here. Definitely try the ginger sesame chicken as an appetizer and the bistro hangar chicken. My wife and i did the premium all you can eat special for $30 which was the perfect deal for us. As long as you order at least 10 meats, items it makes sense in $$.

Comment: Love the steak options! And love some freshly grilled veggies! Really good options but a little expensive! But trust me youll fill up fast. You cook it for yourself but he waitstaff will tell you how long to keep it on and will give you a fresh grill when yours gets charred.

Comment: I had a very good experience here. I went yesterday for diner and thought the food, service and environment were all great . We ordered one of the meal for two which has so many options its mind boggling . The meat was seasoned very good and the sauces they give you were great. The fried rice was to die for and the whole cooking your own meat thing is neat as well. I purchased a steal off of living social so it was worth every dollar .The only thing I didnt like was that they dont substitute things in the menu. We didnt want smores but that was the only item they allow you to choose from .
