Comment: After a Broadway show we arrived in a hurry for they were somewhat close to closing time. They accommodated us and served us well even though the time. Its a very classy sushi restaurant in the lower basement in the Rockefeller Center area. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and appealing. Loved everything about this restaurant.

Comment: I thought the food was very good. The sushi seemed fresh and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The prices are very reasonable for the area and the staff treated us very warmly. It also had a nice atmosphere and I enjoyed being in the basement, removed from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Comment: Loved this place! We had just gotten into town and we’re absolutely famished. It was a Friday and we had forgotten to make reservations and couldn’t get in anywhere. We walked in here and they right away saw that we were exhausted and about to give up! LolThey made room for us, feed us the most amazing sushi we have ever had and made us feel right at home and welcome.Food, service, staff was everything hospitality is supposed to be!

Comment: A decent Japanese place in midtown though would be difficult for the folks with vegan and/ or vegetarian preferences.You can certainly stop for a quick bite of Edamame, vegetables with Iced tea or a drink.Dont expect too much from the ambience as it is not very elegant or classy if you are looking for one.

Comment: I went in for the happy hour which ends at 6:30pm. I ordered the seaweed salad, which was very tasty, and the shrimp shumai, which either wasnt fresh or just didnt taste great. This was recommended to me by the waitress over the little neck clam soup. For $5 a dish in midtown, however, I have no complaints about portion sizes. Service was fine, though happy hour diners were seated in a separate section near the bar. Im glad I tried it but I have no plans to return.

Comment: Stumbled upon this restaurant during a break from watching the St. Patrick’s Day parade and weren’t expecting much but WOW! Loved the calm ambiance in contrast to the busy street outside and the service was great. The weekday lunch specials are amazing, we couldn’t believe it was so affordable. Fish was fresh, portions were large, and everything was delicious. Loved that the teriyaki chicken wasn’t super sweet (like it often is) and the green tea was delicious! They use real leaves and you can get refills of water. Will definitely go back!

We decided to get the st. Patrick roll and red dragon roll both was very good. Also got chefs selection of sushi good and fresh. Prices are reasonable solid place for sushi in manhattan.

The service and people working here are the friendliest and the most genuine service I have seen ever. The food is very fresh and the menu makes sense as well. Comment: I had great omakase sushi here.The price was quite reasonable, and the fish tasted very fresh. Nice refuge from the noise just outside, clean and nice vibe.You can sit at the bar or get a table.You have to go down a steep set of stairs, so unless there is a hidden elevator that I didnt see, best be able to handle stairs. Though if you drink too much sake, you may have fun trying to get back up the stairs as well.

Comment: I came here for lunch and love this spot. It’s right near Rockefeller center on the bottom floor. The restaurant is large and has nice ambience that is great for a business lunch or quiet lunch at the sushi bar. The wait staff are very friendly and the sushi was great quality. Prices are a bit high ($4 per piece of sushi) but overall I think it’s high quality and well prepared so worth it.

Comment: I recently came here for dinner with a friend. Service was attentive and friendly, and the food was quite good. We started with a rock shrimp tempura appetizer and then had the sushi and sashimi combo for 2. The sushi tasted fresh, and came in large portions with a wide variety of fish. Comment: Satisfy your sushi crave on a Friday night near Rockefeller center. The drink menu had an assorted collection of cocktails inspired by asian fruits or Japanese culture. I ordered a Tokyo mojito and bento box c. The mojito itself was sweet and came with freshly crushed mint leaves. The bento box has some edamame, chicken teriyaki, gyozas, California rolls, and sashimi. The set was filling for one person. I only wished that the gyozas and chicken were hot and not just warm.
