Comment: Delicious, fresh sushi here. I ordered the gyoza which was fried to perfection and the crispy tuna roll which consisted of spicy and regular tuna with sesame seeds. It was rich with flavor. My favorite was the monkey jump roll which was tuna and avocado on the inside with yellowtail and jalapeño on the outside. It was so fresh that it tasted tropical and came with its own dipping sauce. Highly recommend this place!

I wished they had more sauces on the table to add to the soups as the flavor was on the blander side. My friend found a piece of hair in her food but chose not to tell server. She had chicken katsu but wished they had the option to add curry as it was dry and not very seasoned, didnt finish eating it. I still plan to visit again to try their other menu items

Every time we passed by this restaurant, it was filled mostly by Americans, and we could barely see any Asians. This is usually a sign that means the food is not authentic enough for Japanese/ Chinese/ Korean restaurants.But based on our first and only try, the flavor was actually pretty good although they were not authentic Japanese sushi and dishes. We figured this restaurant is actually owned by Chinese and almost all of the waitresses were speaking Cantonese or Mandarin.If you are looking for authentic, high-end and delicately made sushi and Japanese restaurants, then it’s not the right place for you. But if you like Americanized Japanese food or sushi, or if you are accustomed to similar flavors, then it’s not a bad idea to come to this place.For me, I would come back again one day when I wanna have some Americanized and sweeter-taste sushi and rolls.

The buy 1 get 1 drink is a MUST. Annie and Joy are my two favorite ladies there. Annie will make you any cocktail you like perfectly. Joy will bring you Joy- she has plenty of jokes and is full of laughter. I have been coming here for years and never have I had a problem with the food- if anything is consistent it is their product and warm personalities from all staff. I truly can’t wait until you guys reopen!!!

Comment: Nice big location on a central corner, coupled with a solid sushi offering makes this place worth a visit. There are plenty of tables and they’re spaced well enough to give patrons plenty of room. Kids were also made to feel welcome without it being a ‘crayons and colouring mats’ type of place.The tuna and avacado sushi was great and came in generous proportions, and while the fried crab dumplings were a little rich but worth trying.

Comment: Love the food and the prices. Until recently the service was great. Recently it seems the entire staff was replaced and not for the good. Spike to the manager today and well see what happens. Like sitting outdoors in the summer.

Comment: My favorite neighborhood sushi restaurant. They make excellent rolls and their sushi and sashimi are always fresh. Their cocktails are always two for one, which is a great deal.Good staff and never a long wait. I highly recommended this restaurant.

Food is incredible and colorful, the staff is friendly and dont get me started on the sushi the chefs whip up. Lawdddd have mercy, get in my belly! Safe to say I will be returning frequently.

Comment: I have lunch here with my daughters almost every Sunday. They have a very convenient lunch menu with great options for the kids. The place is a bit vintage inside, but the sushi is always well prepared and very fresh. They have huge turnover since they serve a large residential community around them with not much competition, so you can be sure that the fish is fresh. A great, unassuming, friendly, reasonably priced neighborhood place with a big variety of options.

Comment: Hane is my go to sushi place. Its very reasonably priced with buy one get one drinks all day everyday. On top of that, they give you a punch card that gives you $30 off when you have all ten holes punched. Its best to call ahead during the weekends for dinner to make a reservation or else the wait can be long.

Comment: Go to this place for the drinks then order sushi. They have two for one every night, all night. The three times Ive been, weve gone as a large group and its always a blast. If you are looking for high quality, traditional Japanese sushi, this place is not for you. If youre looking for a theme park style atmosphere with shamu on the wall and plates of sushi that look like a ride at Disney World then this is your place. Lots od deep fried and sauce heavy options. Service isnt great but as long as they keep the drinks coming we didnt care. I like the live scallop app as well as any of the rolls.

Not pretentious like most Japanese restaurant in Manhattan. Waitresses are friendly and attentive and as a plus, they play current music in the background. A+

This place is great, whether youve got a large group or are having an intimate dinner for two, Hanes food, staff and decor never seem to disappoint. First off, their menu is like a book so its easy to get overwhelmed, but once you navigate it correctly (or go there as much as I do) then you see a world of options available to you! Every thing I have tried at Hane has been fantastic! From appetizers to desserts. Their sushi is fresh, imaginative, and delicious and they have a daily drink special where you buy-one-get-one-free. The magic of this? It works not just with individual cocktails, but bottles of wine, sake and beer as well! Its great for a large group. Comment: Loved this place because every page of the menu made me say Wow and we ordered many things from the menu and they were all really good. We ate everything we wanted and drank 4 karafs of a really good Saki (the unfiltered blue bottle), 2 glasses of champagne, 2 desserts, 3 espressos, and for the 5 of us it was $60 each including tip. Try the bacon wrapped scallops, the lady mango roll, lobster Cha ca la, white tuna tobiko, I cant keep going Ill be naming the whole menu. Didnt bother with any chicken or non-sushi items. Drinks are 2 for 1 so come thirsty.
