Comment: I visited Japan a bit ago and since I got back Ive been craving ramen like crazy!! I found this shop that offers a spicy tonkatsu, it was sooooo good!! I highly recommend this location for the ramen. 100% will be coming back for more as well as to try the rest of the menu!

Comment: Coming from NYC where sushi/poke spots are of abundance, I was skeptical when someone suggested this spot for lunch. I got the bowl with 2 protein, hubby got their 3 roll lunch special, and we got chicken hibachi to share. For drinks we got passion fruit tea - I love that they put pieces of actual passion fruit in the drink but wayyyy to much syrup. It was too sweet for me (keep in mind that I’m the type of person that gets tea without sugar - so you might enjoy the sweetness!)We ordered online and it was easy to navigate. I was disappointed with how many toppings we can get - I’m used to getting 8+ or unlimited in NYC. HOWEVER, they gave a hefty amount of the 4 toppings and the amount they give in the entire bowl is very filling. For protein I got their spicy tuna and salmon. The salmon pieces were large/chunky and fresh - the pieces I get in NYC are about half the size, so this was a nice surprise! The spicy tuna was good, but is pre seasoned, so with the dressing it gets a bit salty - I would just get tuna next time.For the 3 rolls, everything was delicious - the rice on the sushi was nice and thin. Hibachi chicken’s sauce leaked everywhere on the way home - despite the mess, it was also really good and came with a mix of veggies.All in all, a great quick, sushi spot and would def go back when I’m in Buffalo!

I had an even better experience today. The place is so nicely done. I really like that they have great food choices and sell boba with that wasn’t there before. The quality of the food is amazing and so are the workers. Had a Taro milk tea, the taro tasted very authentic. It’s not like cheap powder other places use. The atmosphere here is very nice. It’s a wonderful place. A secret restaurant for Buffalo.

Hokkaido Sushi is our place to go now to get fresh delicious sushi in Wiliamsville area. There is an option with brown rice which we loved! The chef is very friendly and always greets with the smile. Also, I’ve been ordering their sushi through app Beyond Menu “to go” and my order was always ready pretty fast. Highly recommended!

The Haru Maki (fried spring rolls) were perfectly acceptable, but at $4.50 for 2 rather small pieces seemed over priced by comparison. The grilled chicken teriyaki was served with a small bowl of white rice and was quite tasty. If you are looking for a nice place with atmosphere to take a date, this isnt it, but if you just want some fast good food this place should be on your list. I will definitely be returning, and will likely get a double order of the gyoza.

Comment: How do you not love an all you can eat sushi restaurant? This place is NOT a buffet. They seriously make your food to order, no matter what you get or how many times you order more, all for a pretty cheap flat fee... The menu is quite large, but dont expect alot of the more extravagant items that a higher priced sushi restaurant might have. They do have a very nice variety of rolls, sashimi, and other items. This is a perfect relax and eat kind of place. Its not a super ritsy place, but its no dump either. They run a clean place. Im so happy a coworker informed me that this place exists as I have taken many others there since... Cant go wrong other than its not across the street from my home or Id be there every day lol

Comment: All you can eat sushi, including appetizers, soups, and salads. I got tofu with my first order that I didnt actually order. I was dead serious when I told my husband I thought it was chicken since I didnt order tofu... he didnt believe me, and he was right (he doesnt like tofu, lol).The food comes out pretty fast which is nice. The two times I have been there, its been pretty quiet (1-2 other tables).When you order soda, they give it to you in cans, so no free refills there (drinks are not included in all you can eat).I do wish the menu included pictures as Im not too entirely familiar with all kinds of sushi.

Comment: The Buffet freshly made to order is great. Sushi is really good and fresh. You get 2 menu paper to write what to order, but only fill one at a time, as a party group, of however many is in your group. The Sushi Buffet is about $13 for Lunch. Dinner is about $24. Dinner is not really worth the price, as the Lunch is just the same, without the sashimi, which they only let you get 2 pieces of each kind of sashimi at a time. The menu as a variety of sushi and sashimi over rice and appetizers and some main entrees, due have to pay extra for side of hot white rice. The customer service is bit slow and cleaninist could definitely be improved. There is only one mens and one womens bathroom, if they dont work, you have to walk around the building and use a portapotty.

Comment: Its hard to beat the value here at Koi. Sushi isnt the best but its not bad. All you can eat is decent but service is slow, but I find that with many AYCE sushi. Nigiri (Sushi) pieces can be a bit skimpy with the size of the fish, but again for the price, you arent getting a bad deal.

Comment: Im a huge sushi fan, and this is the best place Ive ever been to. Upon arriving, I noticed one of the chefs scooping meat right out of a salmon. So cool! The rice that surrounds each piece of sushi perfect holds it together. You can taste the freshness of each item you order. I would definitely recommend this place, especially since its all you can eat for one price, as long as you finish everything you order. If not, you simply pay for what you dont eat.

Comment: I came here for lunch and started ordering some sushi and rolls. First impression was, they tasted great but somehow bit tiny. I thought, Hmm, it taste good, but it seems kind of pricy because the porpotion of foods are small I was afraid that I would quickly end up paying more than 20 bucks so I asked for check. Then the check showed that it is only 15 bucks including taxes!! It turns out, the lunch is 15 bucks and that is a BUFFET: You can eat as MUCH as you want and it is still 15 bucks!! Isnt that awesome? Note: Be advised, the menu says Extra charges for leftover foods So EAT MUCH AS YOU WANT, BUT ORDER ONLY MUCH AS YOU CAN EAT. And ofcourse, I postponed my check and ended up eating much more.

Comment: This is just about my favorite sushi restaurant ever! There is a huge variety of sushi choices and there are even some non seafood items for people who cant eat that. It is reasonably priced and the food is made right in front of you if you sit at the bar area. It can get a little crowded during peak hours but its typically not too noisy that you cant talk to someone. Its a great place to bring your friends that are curious to try sushi worry that they wont like it since there are options for everyone. My favorite options are the snow crab salad and the dragon roll.

Comment: Koi Sushi offers all you can eat sushi for both lunch and dinner. The all you can eat menu also includes non-sushi options like katsu, teriyaki, tempura, and the usual appetizers, like gyoza, as well as a couple soups and salads. Their Miso soup has a good flavor.Service was decently paced. They kept bringing out a few things at a time then the sushi comes all at once. One of the servers didnt seem to speak much English, but we managed fine despite that. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive.Personally, I think the quality of the food is average. It was tasty, but Taisho is slightly better. Koi is definitely good if youre really hungry or if you want to try a bunch of different things.

Comment: Id been going to a sushi buffet for quite a while, and when this place was recommended to me, Id wondered how well it would compare.Well, it vastly surpassed my previous experiences and set its own standard.Granted, there are some things Im not a fan of - using white tuna for the spicy tuna, or the cans of soda rather than from a tap, but Im willing to overlook these minor inconveniences for the wide diversity of the menu and the excellent quality of the food. I will certainly come here again and again.
