Comment: We loved our dinner at Ichi. The place is very clean, pleasant lighting and music in the background. Extensive and interesting menu. Food arrived in 10-15 minutes. Fish tastes great and fresh.We ordered the tuna pepper avocado roll and salmon teriyaki bento box. This comes with side of salad and miso soup.Perfect quantity for two people and we enjoyed every item in the box ( shrimp tempura, shumai, corn). The salmon teriyaki had the perfect crunch to it.Highly recommend

Comment: First time visitor to this spot. Small and cozy interior with tables and sushi bar. Great menu with colorful pictures that has a lot of sushi choices and rolls that have other meats for those that may not be a fan of fish. Seriously some of the best sashimi Ive ever had. Comment: My family and I had a wonderful dining experience at Ichi Japanese Cuisine. Our waitress was Sharon, and she was pleasant, fast and friendly. I will most definitely be coming back, especially because my kids loved it! We had the lava roll, Dinasour roll, shrimp tempura roll, udon, shrimp shumai and pork gyoza.

Comment: Picked out this place randomly one evening to try out with a friend who lived near by. I’m always a little hesitant to try out new sushi restaurants because I work at a high end sushi restaurant in Manhattan so I’m used to a certain quality. I was surprisingly impressed by the freshness of their fish and deliciousness of their rolls. Everything we tried we loved! Crispy sushi rice and creamy scallop roll were two of my favorites! Overall, I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to family and friends.

Comment: Its rare that I say this. But the food here right from the first bite we both said wow. This sushi is really good and clean tasting. We had gotten the 3 roll lunch special and the way it was prepared, simplicity but carefully constructed. Certainly more sushi than rice but I would say it was perfectly balanced with both texture and flavor. I would recommend this 100% to try for yourself.

Comment: Great sushi place with friendly staff and very reasonable price for quality. We ordered a few rolls and sashimi. They were all so delicious!! Jalopeno stuffed with tuna and cream cheese was amazing but a little too spicy for me... If you handle the spice then Id highly recommend it :). We absolutely enjoyed our dinner. We will definitely be back soon to try other rolls and dishes.

The rolls I ordered were fantastic and I’m glad I got calamari as well. Comment: I am picky when it comes to sushi because of the texture of the rice and freshness. The usual spots that I go to are Nova (not too far away from Ichi), Umi Sushi (Flushing) and Mira (Flushing). However, since I tried Ichi,I really loved it and would definitely return. Ordered shumai, spicy tuna roll, Philadelphia roll and creamy scallop roll. Rolls were fresh and tasted great. Fried green tea ice cream was also good. Server was excellent!
