Comment: Very friendly and great hospitality. We ate early on a Friday evening and “out of season” for the area. It was not crowded but regardless, our service was wonderful. There was a couple there who must have been regulars as a couple staff members chatted with them. It was nice to see.Food presentation was beautiful. Sushi tasted very fresh and delicious. I had saké which was good, as saké is.There were a few hibachi tables, regular tables and sushi bar seating, along with a small bar.As someone else mentioned, it doesn’t look like much from the outside and as you walk through the joint corridor with another restaurant you wonder what the inside will look like BUT it is VERY clean inside.If we get back to the area, we will be back for another meal.

Comment: UPDATE: its been about 3 years since Ive been here and it still stands up. Service on point, sushi and sashimi is absolutely delicious.I go here at least 5x a year and they do not disappoint. they are very friendly and attentive. We are greeted by name and treated like family.

Comment: I went there for the first time last night, and the sushi was amazing. The dinner menu is impressive. So many options, almost too many. Server was nice, quick and polite. Food was tasty, and clean sitting area. Would totally go here again, maybe lunch specials sometime?

Comment: Stumbled upon this fantastic Japanese restaurant just 45 minutes from home. It was worth the trip. Sushi, bento boxes, shrimp, miso soup…all fantastic and reasonably priced. Hopefully construction outside is done soon so access is easier.

Comment: We’ve been to so many Japanese & Sushi restaurants in Rochester but this place is By far the BEST PLACE. Their flavors were Wonderful their portion size was big and their dessert was Ultimate because it was not very sweet ( THANK GOD -No death by Sugar ). We had the Teriyaki Salmon bento box,Super Rock-n-Roll sushi roll- Both were heavenly, super delicious. The Bento box also had Tempura Shrimp&Veggies and the Salmon was laid out on a bed of mixed vegetables so a Big portion of entree. Their California roll that was included in the Bento box was also really outstanding. We had Sake too which was also very lovely. We are going to be back for more Delicious food for sure!!!

Comment: Doesn’t this look like fun? The food was fabulous - if I didn’t live 3 hours away I’d re-order the Mango madness roll, Out of Control roll again - both were outstanding! The roll combinations were excellent and I was very happy with the variety, freshness and flavors. They had unfiltered sake, which I’m not sharing here - my fave. The waitress, Christina, was great - one the best in the biz! The hibachi looked like fun from a distance. Easy walk from the waterfront and Ramada hotel - and the fairly large place was packed on a Monday night. Highly recommended.

Comment: Every time we go, we have an amazing experience. We usually sit at the sushi bar, and have always been treated to a gift from the chef that has never dissapointed. The staff is incredibly courteous and attentive. The presentation of our sushi is always a delight as well.Pictures are from two seperate visits, both exceptional.

Comment: When I first moved to the Finger Lakes from NYC I was prepared to mourn the loss of good sushi. Itchiro has been a pleasant discovery! The fish is always fresh, tasty and well prepared. The service is great. The sushi and rolls are generally more impressive than the cooked food. The restaraunt is clean but not fancy and you can book a fun Hibachi show for four people or more. I am not sure if they have AC in the main dining room because it can get a bit stuffy in the summer time. The rest of the year, its fab.
