Comment: We came last night and had a fantastic time! We were a group of 4 but still got our own hibachi table. The chef was amazing and made out night with his humor and skills. Everyome from the owner who took our reservation, to the waiter and service staff, were extremely nice, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere both inside and out was wonderful as well. Well see you again soon!

Comment: Honestly, Ive been here many times. One time for omakase, one for hibachi, and one for regular sushi rolls. I might have reviewed this place already but my first experience here was the omakase and I felt like that was my favorite. It was around $80 per person pre tax and they gave a total of 15 dishes if I remember correctly. It was my first experience at omakase so the chef was really nice and told us what to do and how to eat it. It is at a bar around the chef station so its more intimate. The second time was hibachi and I felt like that was nothing special. The chef did not do any fancy tricks or anything, just cooked the food that we chose in front of us. The last was the regular sushi. We got the sushi for two. I think this was only a 4 star experience because the fish didnt feel fresh this time (vs omakase time). We paid about $55 per person because we also got the tuna tartare (which was bland) and I got a drink (which was good! Mai Tai is the one in the picture). Hope this helps!

Comment: Best sushi I’ve ever had in the US. Ordered sushi deluxe plus anago(sea eel), every piece of nigiri surprised me how well they processed and served.But one thing that I concerned was that waiter/waitress try to take my miso soup every once in a while. As a Japanese, I always eat miso soup with main dish, so that was the only thing that I wasn’t satisfied with. But overall it’s brilliant.

Comment: Went for a drive with the wife (she was practicing driving using my car. We lived!!! Lol) who wanted to go to Long Island. She had a hankering for sushi and hibachi. We searched up random places and discovered this place. Very beautiful little exterior set up and even better set up inside. Staff were friendly and the food was good. The chefs were entertaining (wish the people we sat with at the table were more lively during this service). Menu was extensive too. Good price. Try the gyoza and the hibachi rice with chicken and filet mignon.

Comment: We were so lucky to get the seats at sushi bar on Friday night so why not try their omakase.The meal started with a refreshing salad followed by 3 pieces of cooked fish. Then their yummy and fresh sushi.The omakase cost $80 per person and it worth the price. 😍

Comment: A friend wanted some sushi in the Valley Stream area and never been to Inatome Hibachi and Sushi Place. It is off the path and you can easily miss it if you dont know where to find the place. It is low key near an intersection and dimly lit. The outside resembles a little like a Japanese garden to a lesser degree. The also setup small chairs and tables in case you want outdoor seating. Once you enter, you go up a small stairs that hooks left and you can see how large this establishment is. They have quite a few Hibachi tables and the place was at capacity for large families. They also supply these large rigid plastic barriers to separate the groups from each other. They also have regular tables If you only want sushi and not Hibachi. They also have a small sushi bar were you can watch them prepare sushi and dine there as well.We sat in the rear right of the restaurant where these were the only seats available. We were 2 and 2 who sat across on the far side of the Hibachi table. Plenty of social distancing there. The only table open was then filled with a group of 6 friends. The host who greeted us prior to seating had asked if we had made reservations. I had looked online but did not see a reservation area. He said people call to make them. We tried to joke with the owner whonseems like a quiet person, bit it seemed he did not like my banter and looked mad and walked away. He was nice enough to say thank you, goodnight and stay safe when we finished dining though. I did not take it wrong from the beginning anyway.There was a nice waitress, Hispanic who came to take our order. She was very pleasant. Ordered a Nigori Sake and a lychee martini. The sake was not sweet but perfect for me. The lychee martini was well made. You can tell by the organization of the place, the owner pays attention to details.We ordered a couple of yellowtail sashimi which were cut perfectly! Also they had Uni (Sea Urchin) from both California and Japan. Again, you see the detail that goes into the prep when they arrived. The Cali Uni was leaning towards the browner side. You can see in the pictures I sent up. The Cali Uni was also slightly more firmer the the Japanese Uni. The Japanese Uni was like butter!! Omg, it was so darn good and flavorful. My friend tried Uni for the 1st time and really enjoyed them. We decided to get mixed Hibachi dinners. I went all seafood, Shrimo, lobster and scallops while my friend went chicken and scallops. We were sharing anyway. They 1st came with the myabi soup, the clear Japanese onion soup. Afterwards, the salad with the ginger dressing. After we finished our appetizers and starters, the Hibachi chef arrived. He was a quiet friendly person. I was slightly disappointed he did not make the traditional onion volcano bit it was ok. He maybe in learning mode. He was fine handling the food and slicing. He did a nice job overall and was made us laugh a few times. He also tried to flip smallnpieces of broccoli to everyone sitting and we gave him a few bucks for his performance. He did do a small drum type play after which was cute. Again, the quality is amazing. The staff is really attentive and nice. Youbwill always have a great meal and time ar Inatome. Make sure to make a reservation if you are considering dining in the evening.

Comment: Came here to eat for my 8 year anniversary on Friday and it was great. I called and spoke to a very sweet and professional gentlemen. I asked for a private table but they only did groups of people at the tables where they cook in front of you which was fine. When we got there they put us alone anyway which was great! Thank you for that! I loved everything about it, from the soup to the fried ice cream! Yummy! Our cook was fun and sweet and my daughter even enjoyed it being her first experience and having broccoli thrown at her hahaha. We are definitely coming back.

Comment: We made last minute reservations for the sushi bar. With such an accommodative atmosphere and great chefs behind the sushi bar. It is a pretty authentic experience in this area of Long Island. Granted, I am not Japanese and have not spent a considerable amount of time in Japan. I would say this is a good example of a Japanese meal.
