Comment: We were heading to the outlet mall and Iron Chef was the closest Japanese restaurant we could find. First impressions were great as it’s a nice stand alone building with a lot of character. Food was also good especially the teriyaki beef! What I really didn’t like was the super sticky and yucky wooden tables.

Comment: Visited family Upstate and everyone was craving hibachi so we decided to try Iron Chef. My boyfriend and I arrived earlier then the rest of my family, so we asked the man in front (possibly manager) if it was okay to sit by the bar and order food. He replied rudely asking “aren’t you going to eat Hibachi?”. I said Yes, but we want to start off with some sushi and drinks if that’s okay??? We sat at the bar, ordered some sushi and a French Martini. The sushi was very good and my boyfriend loved his martini. Our family came and since not everyone (2 people) weren’t there yet he wouldn’t let us sit down, guy was weird and got into a little awkward thing with my aunt but we let it go and sat down.At the table we ordered some more apps; we got the Rock Shrimp, Salmon Tapas, Crispy Tuna Rice, Spicy Tuna Roll, Angry Dragon, and a Tuna Avocado Roll. All were very good except the rice on the crispy tuna needed to have more rice it was super thin not enjoyable. For our main meals we got a mixture of filet mignon, shrimp, lobster, and chicken. With our meals they gave us fried rice, noodles, vegetables, and shrimp. Our chef was funny and entertaining. He cooked everything with extra garlic just like we asked him to. All our meals were delicious and tasty. Haven’t had good hibachi in a while so this hit the spot.If we’re ever Upstate again we will definitely be back!

Comment: I made reservations at this restaurant for my sister’s birthday and we had an excellent experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. They also followed all food allergy precautions. Then, they surprised my sister with a birthday song that played on surround sound speakers throughout the entire restaurant. I highly recommend this location to anyone who loves a great hibachi spot! Food was delicious and portion sizes were on point as well! We came a second time this year for her birthday, Jason was the one who cooked our hibachi. We came an hour before closing and felt terrible, yet he still made the experience phenomenal. His energy was outstanding. He truly made the restaurant/hibachi experience worthwhile.

Comment: We have been here and taken out a number of times and each time the food is delicious. Tonight I had the Carribean Martini which was delicious, with the perfect level of sweetness and Caribbean flavors. For dinner, two of us had Drunken Noodles (YUM). One with chicken and the other with Tofu and both were so good, there was nothing left for a doggie bag. Someone else ordered the chicken Tempura platter which they thoroughly enjoyed and the fourth dish was shrimp teriyaki which was cooked to perfection. Great food at a local restaurant cant be beat. If you are in the mood for Japanese and /or Asian fusion dishes, give the Iron Chef a try!

Comment: Celebrated the bros bday on 1/18. It was a tuesday so it eas pretty empty but we made reservations anyways. We had a blast. The chef was so funny and entertaining. He shot veggies in our mouths and lots of sake. The food was delicious. The chicken a little tough but the shrimp was perfect and the veggies and rice too. I had a white chocolate raspberry cosmopolitan drink, it was great. Overall my family and I had a great experience. :)

Comment: This is my fourth time coming here and every meal has been delicious. The service is good and fast, the drinks are well made (awesome Mai Tai), and they are all very friendly. The sushi is exquisitely delicious of any type that you get. My only one comment is when I order the hibachi surf and turf combo it seems a little light on the serving portion of the lobster and meat.I will continue to visit for sure.

Comment: Came for a birthday celebration. The food was very good. Our Hibachi chef was fun, and very entertaining. He did a great job. The chef that came after him, and worked the next table over was dry, and boring. Glad we didnt get him. The service was good, but I never received my crab cake as an appetizer, They didnt add it to the bill, so I was okay. Other than that, I enjoyed myself.

Comment: One of the most important things a restaurant needs to maintain is consistency. Iron Chef maintains a level of consistency in service, presentation and taste. Definitely a place to visit if you like Asian cuisine, either Hibachi style or standard table service.

Comment: The place is great! We were there for Valentine’s Day with some friends and then returned again a few days after for lunch. The food is really good, sushi is fresh and dessert is delicious. We haven’t do hibachi but sat down at a regular table and enjoyed the atmosphere. The people that works there is amazing, the manager is very attentive and making sure everything was as we expected. A must needed place in this area.
