Comment: Pork curry Katsu. Awesome. Ive had some variation of this dish many times over the years and this might be the best Ive had. The pork was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside moist inside. The vegetables and rice were very good. The curry sauce has a ton of flavor and works perfectly with the rest of the dish.The waitress was pleasant. The atmosphere is very cozy with various decorations and wall art around.

Comment: Newly opened neighborhood Japanese restaurant. Wide selection of food and drinks. Enjoyed the Kani Salad, Grilled Octopus, and Pork Chop rice with egg. Food was good. One piece of feedback is that the breading on the fried pork chop was very thick and quite hard, and the pork chop inside was quite thin. Hopefully they can improve on this in the future. But overall, it was a good experience, will come visit again.

Comment: Super cute Japanese restaurant specializing in tapas and small bites. Servers Proud and Cece were extremely warm and welcoming.The Ika Geso (comparable to calamari but higher end) is a must have, it comes in whole, lightly fried pieces (to compare, most restaurants will serve 2-3 whole pieces maximum per plate of calamari along with ring-cuts).The Agedashi tofu is silky, also lightly fried and comes in a delicious homemade sauce that’s perfect to whet the appetite.Finally, the Nishikub salad (salmon/tuna) was the perfect light top-off and came with a wasabi aioli.The owners have clearly paid careful attention to decor, lighting and the finer details that complete a restaurant. I look forward to coming back here!

Comment: Was craving for japanese food and saw that this was a new restaurant in lic, decided to check it out! came in for brunch, got seated quickly. they also take resys on google as well! ordered the aji fried (mackerel), udon, and curry katsu w pork. nothing special, but was a nice, fulfilling meal :).

Comment: Came here recently for dinner with some friends and had a great time! Every dish was wonderful, but the oyakodon was pretty average. All in all, great addition to the neighborhood and would be coming back.

Comment: Stopped by for lunch with friends, ordered pork homemade gyoza and takoyai. Gyoza was amazing and the look was different than I have seen and it was fun to eat in the different shapes. Tokoyaki was on point they made it kind of too soft love it when it crispy. Definitely come back!

Comment: We got lunch take out and the food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time during peak hours. The kimchi carbonara is so good - actual prawns, not just small shrimps. So happy to have this new option open. We can’t wait to try more of the menu. Katsu curry rice bowl was also great.

Comment: Great service and vibe! Had a cozy dinner here and the food was great. We had the katsu curry (we tried both chicken and pork, personally I enjoyed the chicken more :)) Will be coming back to try the many other menu items! The only thing that could’ve made the katsu better is if it had my favorite red pickled radish! (fukujinzuke?) Happy to have a new izakaya place in the neighborhood 💗
