The chef was amazing as the food was fresh and beyond delicious (pictures say a 1000 words), the restaurant was clean and relaxing, and the service was so amazing! Comment: The best choice for my husband’s birthday celebration.Remember if you are a sushi and seafood lover, this omakase will make your mouth paradise. The quality of the ingredients were top notch! Great harmony of each course. 100$ omakase worth more than 2-300$ at manhattan’s.The atmosphere is very pleasant. I recommend it for an important treat.Chef’s so kind and professional. All service two thumbs up. Even as a last course a ramen and frozen yogurt taste so another level. Comment: Lunch Omakase!!! I lunched here on Saturday 7/15. Reservation was got via phone call to restaurant weeks before. This was one of the highlights of my foodie trip. Excellent price point. Plenty of food, not just nigiri ie: chawanmushi. Without giving away too much, pictured is one of my favorites. Also spoke with the owner/manager. She is very friendly. Definitely a great find!!!

Comment: We made a reservation for a Sunday brunch, which was the right decision. The food was exceptional, however, the first few piece of the Omakase was just alright, there was no taste to the fish which was surprising. The toro was great, it was fresh and tasty.We made our reservations at 12:15, at 12:13 they called us and ask if we were there yet. Which was kinda annoying because we were already parked outside and on the way in. They shouldn’t have rushed us.

Comment: Sat down for dinner omakase, and was one of the best experiences in terms of food and serving size. It was Korean influenced and offered courses you typically wouldn’t find in other spots. Chef Joon was attentive and explained each piece in detail. Theres also good lighting at the table and it wasn’t too loud, in case you want to still have a conversation with the people youre with.

Comment: We found this little gem while doing research for restaurants around our hotel. What a great find! We had the Omakase for lunch and it consisted of 15 courses plus dessert. It was great value for money and every course was excellent. Chef Joon uses the freshest ingredients and everything tastes amazing. Usually, one might leave Omakase still hungry; that is not the case here. We left very full and happy. Can’t wait to go back next time we visit NYC.

Comment: My husband and I have tried both the lunch and dinner omakases and for the price, we think it’s one of the best omakases in the area. Everything is fresh, creative and served with much care by Chef Joon. All the courses that are a part of the omakase are varied and make you look forward to what comes next! We’ve come with our baby girl and the female server has always been so gracious in voluntarily helping us watch, hold and keep her entertained while we eat. The delicious sushi and attentive service are what always keeps us coming back for more!

Comment: Celebrated my partners birthday by having the Omakase here for dinner. It was truly an amazing dining experience. The chef was quiet and respectful. He had an incredible handle on flavors, textures, and timing. Every single course was memorable in it of itself and the overall experience was more than worth the money. I was so unexpectedly full midway through that it was even quite difficult to finish all the food but I had to because they were all delectable.Would absolutely recommend and will be returning soon. A well-deserved 9.6/10

The food prep is good but not top level fine dining omakase, but again, you are not paying top dollars.Every dish tasted great, some better than others. The mackerel sashimi is the best I ever had and the ramen was surprisingly well balanced with the pepper. Service was good as it is omakase, so the chef will get what you need. But the waiters are around to help you as well.No complaints, and will come back again. Excellent for the price!!

Comment: The freshest fish youll get outside catching it yourself. I usually hate uni but its fresh and tastes like the ocean in a good way. Everything is fresh, theres no fishy smell. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They offered good recommendations. Their rolls are really good if your not feeling the raw fish. It was a great dining experience. Comment: We dined in tonight for an Omakase dinner set. The setting of restaurant organized and welcoming, clean and we were very well attended to while not feeling watched with overbearing resets and clean ups. There was a single chef, Chef Joon, who prepared each course with an explanation of each component and how it was designed to eaten, who is also the owner and namesake. We were advised on the proper sake to get and the service all around was kind while also not being stuffy. Each course was lovingly prepared in front of us to a perfect amount of satisfaction and fullness. We loved every bite and it was such a time! We cant wait to come back and hope that this new business gets the recognition of quality and grace it deserves.

Chef Joon creates some of the highest quality sushi and sashimi right before your very eyes, which you are then able to eat immediately! Amazing. The price is affordable and countless menu options will leave you satiated without feeling the need to stuff yourself with a burger at your favorite fast food joint after.
