Comment: This place gets a good review for the insanely good price . 15 dollars for a set is amazing. The katsu is a bit thin but was good anyway and about what I expected for the price. The restaurant is nice and small, it feels cozy. The sushi roll is a proper full roll. That along with the set menu filled me up. I wish the katsu was thicker but still a very good place for the area.

So many options and they are willing to substitute most things to accommodate needs. Seriously the clear broth soup and the sashimi dinner with a spicy kani salad is life

Comment: Ordered my usual, the sushi & sashimi lunch. Delicious as always. Totally love. But hubby ordered shrimp tempura. I think tempura should be light and puffy. Sorry but this wasnt as good as we have had before. The batter was too thick and shrimp was overcooked. But again sushi/sashimi scrumptious

Comment: Hands down the best Japanese food I’ve ever had. I never would have guessed how INCREDIBLE this restaurant would be from the unassuming look of the outside, but the inside is very charming and the food simply couldn’t be better. We tried the miso soup, Godzilla roll (Which came with pieces of fried fish that was on the house and was absolutely delicious), and the steak and scallops hibachi. Everything, and I mean everything, was amazing! I mad at myself for not trying this place sooner, but now that I know about it I will definitely be a regular!

Comment: Kawa is a nice little place for sushi and other Japanese dishes. I usually order from the sushi menu. Ive been there often enough to have some favorites. My wife likes to choose from the bento boxes. We tried sushi places all over orange county. We come back here more often than other places as Kawa is close to home, the food is very good, prices are reasonable and the service is prompt and attentive. There is nothing missing.

The offer a wide variety of rolls you can choose from. I had an eel/avocado, a salmon/avocado and a spicy tuna crunch. All were fresh and delicious. The miso soul was really good too.They actually redid the inside of the restaurant which is really pretty. Unfortunately I didnt get pics.Be mindful they charge $2.00 for refills.

Comment: I had family in town, and we were looking for Asian fusion on a Sunday afternoon. Ka Wa was exactly what we needed. We ordered a multitude of sushi rolls and individual sushi pieces, teriyaki chicken and pad thai to go.They have a sushi bar with a chef that makes all sushi orders, so, hes fun to watch. The rest of the staff was very friendly, patient and helpful with all of our questions.The sushi roll selection is fresh, creative and extremely tasty! Sushi pieces were well cut, fresh and generously portioned. Teriyaki chicken had a lighter sauce, so it wasnt syrup-sweet, it was great. Pad thai can be ordered with three different noodles (two Japanese types of noodles or traditional rice noodles). Pad thai flavor was great, but could have used some spicy kick.Once people find out about this place, it should be packed. Ill definitely be back.
