Comment: Sushi was good overall. The place was empty when we went in and we had the whole place to ourselves. Had some good sized sashimi pieces that was fresh. I like their ikura (salmon roe) which is always tasty. My friend had some rolls and scallop.

Comment: We’ve gotten take out about 3 times. We’ve had the Lexus, Volcano and Jaguar rolls. All absolutely delicious. I live about a half hour away, and it’s always perfect when we get back. Will definitely be back. And, we used a Groupon so it’s a great value. They’re always courteous.

Comment: Ive been going to Kawa Sushi for three years, they have never made a mistake on an order, they throw in free edamame from time to time, and they make very good sushi, often in as little as 15 minutes. The sweet potato rolls are killer. I get two every time. On occasion I take my 3 year old daughter with me to pick up our order. The staff is so sweet to her! Love the staff, love the food. Best Sushi Ive had on Long Island.

They apparently also have AYCE (all you can eat) sushi as well which Ill have to come back for, since the special rolls were pretty good and even had some unique ones I havent seen at other restaurants.

Comment: This place doesnt look like much from the outside (just a plain old strip mall front) but inside it has a very lovely decor with great booths and lanterns above each one. The Susi bar is also nicely decorated. There is a large selection of rolls and udon and the lunch specials are a great value. Everything in my bento box was great and they were fine with substituting the California roll for a tuna roll (very small up charge).
