Comment: I came here with my friend to enjoy some ramen. The experience was incredible. The server was so sweet and kind and even recommended us things to try as it was our first time at a ramen place. I had ordered a strawberry mocktail and within less than 3 minutes I had already received it. The food came out pretty quickly as well. The food tasted good. I would highly recommend you to come and try this place.

Comment: Came for lunch as wifey wanted some noodles. Been here once before the merge and was surprised that we never came back. Wifey ordered the shrimp tempura ramen. Son wanted the pork gyoza and I got the shrimp basket. Food did not disappoint. Wifey was very happy with her ramen and lil man loved it as well. The shrimp in the shrimp basket were cooked just right - not too much and dried out. Can definitely see us coming back as we don’t have a go to ramen spot yet and it’s right next to my gym.Tip - Order the ramen and appetizer combo to save some money.

We were seated immediately and our server Eien reccomended the Taichi bowl and the Holiday trio combo, which were both really good! The combo came with the cutest Santa themed shaved ice which tasted as good as it looked. We will def come back!

Comment: I ordered the Kinya Ramen and it was so good! The broth was so so delicious, and everything inside of it was yummy. Also tried the takoyaki and also very tasty. The complimentary shrimp chips were good, usually i dont like shrimp chips bc i find them too fishy for my liking but i did enjoy the ones here and they had a little kick (so little, i have poor spice tolerance). My vegetarian friend was also content with the options available to her. She really enjoyed the vegetarian option, which is very uncommon bc most of the time they are lacking in flavor (note how she did not leave a drop of soup in that green bowl).Service was attentive and friendly. Ambiance was cute, casual, and clean. Will be coming back to try the other broths and explore the rest of the menu

Highly recommend the spicy ramen. The chicken is tender and all the ingredients go well together. The takoyaki is a good appetizer to share. It has a piece of octopus inside and you can definitely tell its a seafood item so if that not your thing maybe order something else

The broth is some of the best I’ve ever had, the spice level is perfect, and the noodles were cooked to the perfect consistency.There’s no doubt in my mind that I’ll be back very soon! To our surprise, we were able to get so many different choices! I got the poke bowl and it was incredible! We also got the ramen, sushi tacos and the seafood boil. All were amazing! For sides we had a French fries 🍟.For desserts, we had beignet with chocolate sauce, it was amazing, would highly recommend the desserts here.Food was really good, the portion is huge, one ramen bowl was too much for me had to pack it home. The fries were also a lot. Only thing I felt would be great to have more was the dessert as it came only three pieces 😋😜Overall must try if you are looking for ramen, seafood or Sushi. I am personally allergic to seafood,so the waitress took care of my dietary needs pretty well.

I got the Tonkotsu ramen and the broth definitely hit a home run, very rich and embodied with love. The soft-boiled egg was perfectly textured, though I wish for a slightly runnier yolk but still a great bite and something to note only if I’m nitpicking.Overall, a great experience with an attentive staff and delicious food!

We sat at the bar and started with some pork buns, soy garlic wings, Takoyaki and spicy creamy shrimp tempura. Each dish popped with flavor but the creamy shrimp tempura were delicious and like nothing I’ve ever had before.We ordered entrees of a pork chashu bowl and the house special Kinya Ramen. Both were delicious.It’s also worth noting you can order from the “hook and reel” menu or Kinya’s at the same table. I can’t wait to go back to try some of the other ramen dishes or seafood boils I saw being delivered to nearby tables to customers with big smiles!!!

However, I’d say that the only thing lacking was that the meat pieces were not super tender and made it taste more dry. This might be due to the cut of the meat.Chintan Ramen $15 (3/5): My sister’s chicken/fish broth was less flavorful than the Kinya pork-based ramen. However, the same plentiful portion of meat and toppings presented.Overall, the ramen is amazing by Long Island standards. I was thoroughly impressed by my dishes and would definitely recommend!

I like that you can choose food from 2 restaurants but that food is on another review.So far, the ramen I had, that were all amazing, was the Tonkotsu Ramen, the Kinya Ramen, the Chicken Miso. Each was great in its own way, but the winner of them was the Kinya ramen. The black garlic in it really made it come together well. The eatable gold wasnt necessary, but it was a little fun to say I was rating gold.The ramen is offered in a combo that comes with an appetizer, so Ive tried a few. Shrimp tempura was good, and the shrimp were deveined before they made them. The buns came as 2 and were my favorite. Great flavor, tender pork, just really on point. The goyza were very good, nothing stood out about them but who cares when the food is delicious. Also, they serve complimentary shrimp chips with old bay on them.100% worth coming here. Fills your stomach without emptying your wallet.

We had Shrimp tempura, chicken wings and house salad as our appetizers with 2 cocktails: Kinya Old Fashioned & Lychee Mojito. For entree, we got Pork Chashu Bowl, Kinya Ramen and their time limited Uni Ramen.The food was overall decent with reasonable price and great portion. Our favorite was the Uni Raman which was flavorful and creamy with chewy noodles.

What I heard the way they cook the broth is unique, the broth is so thick, not as salty as others! Another highlight is the drink menu, my favorite one is mango mai tai!!!!

The broth for the Kinya Ramen and Spicy Ramen were both flavorful and delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked and not dry; the pork charsiu was also flavorful and yummy. The takoyaki is a little too doughy for my liking, but it was still yummy. Our server, Mimi, was very attentive and friendly.

Comment: I’ve been really hoping for a ramen place to open near by and this was an answered prayer. It was a much needed lunch treat today. It made me feel just warm and cozy inside. Through out our meal I kept saying “next time we should try…” so that must be an good sign.Atmosphere: it’s a little hard to locate & can get confusing since Hook & Reel shares a space but it’s well set up. Cozy little booths, great wallpaper & decor.Food: so yummy. The broths were delicious & for someone like me a lot of them looked the same almost, you can’t go wrong with the Miso or Tonkotsu. I asked for a little chili paste on the side. The touch of shrimp chips for the table was really great.Service: extremely quick & everyone was friendlyPrice: I think it was fair priced. It’s around $16 for a bowl, give or take a dollar.Overall, we’ll be back especially as it gets colder. Looking forward to seeing if the flavors and tasting experience is similar when you do take out.

Comment: To put it lightly, this is definitely a really good ramen shop, gets very busy, especially on the weekends. The staff here are very kind and friendly and will happily fix your order if you get the wrong food. I am a huge fan of their menu, they have a lot of great items on it despite it being so limited. My go to ramen has to be the spicy ramen, it has a rich creaminess, with the hint of spice for those looking for that extra kick to dance on their taste buds. The meat is nice and tender, going hand in hand for a good song and dance with those chewy yet soft noodles that go down as easy as the soup. So much to love about this place, especially when its so close to one of the objective best malls on Long island. Definitely my go to hang out spot for food, never has let me down!

Comment: My friend wanted to go to Hook and Reel in the bay shore mall when we come to find that it is a conjoined restaurant with Kinya ramen and bar. Try the wing app, they soy ones are YUM. Gyozas were housed by our daughter, so theyre kid approved. The Kinya and Tonkotsu ramens are both solid choices. Plus Kinya had edible gold leaf. Comment: Went here for my post workout meal (blink fitness gym is right next to the restaurant) i got the ramen and appetizer combo. The tonkotsu ramen was really good. The broth is super tasty and the char siu is braised perfectly. I got the takoyaki for appetizer. It was also really good. The manager and the server was very attentive. Good food and good service. I’ll most definitely come back.. Probably after a heavy leg workout session.

Comment: It just recently opened up in Hicksville next to Hook and Reel and I think both are owned by the same person as the places are connected from inside and you can order from Hook and Reel menu as well.We ordered 2 ramen combos with appetizers. Takoyaki and shrimp tempura were so filling and hands down delicious. My friend got the Kinya ramen with pork and she definitely loved it. I got the Chintan ramen with chicken and it was absolutely great. Broth was so flavorful and I requested the server to make it spicy and it just made it so much better.The service is quick and the prices are fine. Our server was super friendly and nice. Ramen bowls were huge and filling. I would definitely recommend this place for some authentic ramen.

Comment: An amazing place! Me and my friends had a great meal there. The interior decor is extremely nice, the tables and environment is kept clean. Although not depicted, we had the takoyaki (which is the best Ive ever had!) and spicy chicken wings as appetizers. We also had the pork buns, which were really good - a perfect combination of sweet and smoky. I liked the balance of meat and vegetables too. We ordered the miso ramen, kinya ramen, and the shrimp tempura ramen. The eggs were perfect, and the pork chasu was cooked phenomenally! The shrimp tempura was fried well; not too much batter! Definitely recommend everything. Service was fast and impeccable; cant wait to come again!
