Comment: First time at Kobe today for lunch. We had sushi and we were in a bit of a rush. The food was very good and our server was excellent. We were very pleased and will definitely be back. Next time hopefully there will be time to look at the interesting Japanese art on display.

Comment: The service that we received from our bartender Li Coco was THE BEST Ive ever encountered at ANY restaurant establishment. We drove 3.5 hrs to get here and it was worth the trip. Oh yeah... the food was AMAZING!!!

Comment: Everything was great and the hibachi show was fun, exciting and the saki is always good. The portions are generous and you know no matter what you order it’s going to be solid.To Management - I do suggest hiding the cleaning supplies from plain view. It doesn’t set off a good vibe which is the only reason why I give 4 stars, plus there was an automatic 15% service fee added to the bill.

Comment: I was in Poughkeepsie on vacation. And I was in the mood for some hibachi. So I found Kobe hibachi. Prices are a bit high, but it is hibachi. My chef was very talented and funny . It was an amazing experience. The food tasted soooo good. If you are ever in the mood for hibachi and you are in pughkeppsie. Go to Kobe Hibachi. It’s highly recommended.

Comment: Typical Hibachi restaurant. The show was great the kids really enjoyed it. Could have done without the Sake being squirted at me but went for the Show and that was part.The food was simple and good. Will go again

The food was 10/10 even the “table” hibachi was 10/10 - usually when I sit at a table instead of the hibachi area the food is not as good as the fresh hibachi - but this place it tasted fresh too! The sushi was really good, we’re from out of town and get sushi all around and this place was tied for our favorite. Our server was very nice and attentive. Loved it !

Comment: Very impressed with my first time visit to this local Poughkeepsie eatery. Chef was extremely entertaining and the food preparation was on point. Enjoyed everything that we dined on and must admit the Sake didnt hurt. The Sun definitely rises on this hibachi hot spot!

Comment: This place is great, hibachi is always fun and the atmosphere is cleanand relaxed. The food was delicious.My friend and I decided to start with a Zombie and a Punch Rum cocktail because why not?! For dinner we both went with filet mignon and scallops and were not disappointed at all. The filet cut like butter and the scallops melted in your mouth!The hibachi meal includes a miso broth soup, a salad, 2 hibachi shrimp, fried rice and lo mein noodles. All of the hot food of course is cooked tableside. Soooooo good!🤤
