Comment: First timer for a late lunch. Small dining area, but clean and the staff was friendly. The salad was super fresh and the ginger dressing was tasty. Good start. Having never been here I ordered my sushi staples; cucumber roll and tuna roll. Simple test to see if they do those right. My wife was more adventurous and tried a spicy salmon roll. Very good on the basics. I tried the salmon and it was terrific. There was a little crunch to it ( tempura?) that really made the roll. The spice was great and the salmon FRESH. The cucumber was excellent. The tuna was fine, but not stellar hence the 4 star instead of a 5. Solid place overall and we would go here again. The price was also fine.

Comment: Kobe is a staple neighborhood sushi joint. Great prices, and the sushi itself is excellent! It’s way higher quality than other affordable sushi I’ve tried and I think the soy sauce is house-made too. Their 3 rolls for $15 deal makes for a quick, yummy lunch that is also healthy. So reliable! I am definitely coming back.

The ingredients are super fresh and the food is always reliably delicious.Prices are just right, and please, someone tell me anywhere else in the UES to get better beef fried rice than this place!!They have a chicken noodle soup that is so comforting and the best when under the weather.Dont forget the avocado salad, omg yum!

I’m always confident ordering sashimi here; I know it’ll be yummy.The ambience isn’t anything special — but there’s no seating right now due to COVID anyway. Free delivery, too.I’ve wanted to try more low-priced sushi places around the area, but whenever I do try, I end up a little disappointed that it wasn’t Kobe sushi. So, this is my go-to spot!

Comment: The best we’ve had here in the city so far!We are a large family, ordering out is a special treat. Today is a family members birthday, he likes sushi so we took a risk and decided to order sushi from Kobe.How many times have we ordered sushi from other restaurants and it’s either been too expensive vs portion size, or, it smells fishy.Kobe had no fishy smell and large portions! The crunchy crumb topping we added to the sushi rolls was the best we’ve had! All family members pleased, happy and full :)We will definitely be making Kobe our go-to sushi place from now on for our family!

Comment: I like it. It is very decent place comparing with other places around. I think it is one of the best you can find around here. Once I had my friends from another country visited me and I took them to this place. They said it was the best sushi they ever had and the service was really great. The place is very small and I hope it will get through these hard times.
