Comment: Its the best sushi restaurant on Long Island. You should try out their appetizers; they are so unique and tasty. Also, the sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh and delicious. Usually, the wait time is long, so its advisable to arrive before the opening time.

Comment: I had a wonderful experience lunching with two friends at Kotobuki in Roslyn, NY. We ordered salmon teriyaki, tendon (shrimp and vegetable tempura) and beef negimaki. Each entree came with a bowl of soup and salad. The food was excellent, with authentic Japanese flavors that left me craving for more. The short wait time was impressive, and the attentive waiter service added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I truly appreciate the effort put into creating such a memorable experience. I highly recommend this place.

Comment: I went with a group of four people. Ive heard the wait times here can take a while so we went a bit earlier and we did not have such a long wait time. We started with the tuna pizza, crispy rice spicy tuna and the Kmac sliders. All of the apps were extremely delicious. We ordered a few different rolls as well. They were all pretty good. Nothing was wow but everything was above average. I would dine again.

Comment: Solid sushi spot for lunch, not super crowded. I had the sushi lunch special both the sushi and the salmon rolls were excellent. I am not a fan of California rolls so I was happy when the allowed me to substitute free of charge. The fish was fresh and you tell it was good quality sushi. Will be coming back!

Comment: This is our go to place for sushi. We usually get the sushi sashimi combo for two. It’s usually enough to feed our family of four. Their sushi is the most consistently fresh and plentiful in our area. We usually order takeaway but we went in for lunch. Note that one benefit of eating in is that you get a few amuse bouche plates like fried oysters and salad when you order the sushi and sashimi combo that you don’t get for takeout. Yes, it’s often hard to get in right away. But that’s a good sign that the place is turning over and that the food is fresh.

Comment: Love Kotobuki! Their sushi is always fresh and the menu does not disappoint. Theres something for everyone. Raw, cooked, ramen or Udon, rice plates and small bites. Always a fun time here. Their outdoor dining is open most year round and its done right. Heat lamps for the colder days and tented. The summer, its open and comfortable. Favorite dish, Sashimi entree and the crunchy rice. My kiddos love the ramen and any sushi.

Comment: Sushi for 2 feels like sushi for 4! (unless you inhale it and leave some rice behind) Its like ordering a sampler platter of yumminess and I highly recommend it. Their miso soup is basic but its a staple soup at sushi places. The salads are a bit more full than Im used to. More lettuce and a layering of sauce on top.The building itself is unique, most people dont care for the design or layout of a location but it felt as though the owners put in a lot of effort to make this restaurant stand out. From the decorations of bamboo sticks to the Japanese paper lantern it was obvious that this is not a corner store americanized sushi takeout place.They have an outdoor area which patrons loved during my summer visit, the sushi bar had 4 employees working hard to push out the demanding orders of sushi! The place was packed by 1pm (they open at noon) inside the tables are side by side in rows. Even when it was full you could still have a normal toned conversation with your family or friends at the table without shouting. Ive usually gone to buffet for sushi but from now on when I want to show an out of town gust a good time for sushi this is my new go to spot!

Comment: Have not been here in a really long time. Went back with a friend because we were craving some sushi. We got a spicy Calamari and a Sushi Sashimi special. The spicy Calamari came out on a sizziling hot plate mixed with greens. It was very good, not too spicy but enough of a kick to it. The Sashimi were big slices and were firm pieces of fresh fish. The special came with a soup and a salad which makes it a really good deal. A definite must go to place. Been to Babylon, Hauppauge, and Rosyln locations. All good.
