Comment: This place is one of our favorite places to go for sushi and its convenient when the sushi just rolls around you in minutes. But its not so great if the table takes what you want before it gets to you. But all in all its great!

Comment: The food was phenomenal; try the Taiyaki if youre in. Its a pretty popular dessert in Japan. If I had to describe it, Id say it tastes like a deep-fried oreo. The real star of this place is the sushi, but if thats not your style, maybe try the ramen or the udon, and Im sure youll see something on the conveyor belt you might like!

Comment: A great place for some casual sushi and other Japanese food. The revolving belt of delectable dishes adds a playful twist, making every bite an adventure. Freshness is the name of the game here, from classic nigiri to inventive rolls. The touchscreen at each table lets you customize your sushi experience. Its like having a personal sushi chef at your fingertips. The blend of conveyor belt charm and made-to-order excellence sets Kura apart. The ambiance is vibrant, perfect for a laid-back yet exciting sushi affair. The staff is always smiling, ensuring your sushi journey is as delightful as the rolls themselves.A sushi paradise where innovation meets tradition flawlessly. An absolute must-visit for sushi enthusiasts and anyone craving a fun, flavorful dining experience.

Comment: Fun novel experience eating sushi! You pay per plate you pick up and eat, and after 15 plates you get a prize. My partner and I both hit 15… mind you it’s a lot more food than you expect. Was a super long wait, don’t think I would wait almost 2 hours just to get seated in a tight little bar area again, but all of the food we had was delicious and I don’t regret it.

Comment: First of its kind around the area! I recently dined in with my business partner on Monday morning 12/4 for lunch as I was in the area and Danny was my server. He was very attentive, kind and informative of how the process works at Kura. In addition he was always on top of refilling our drinks and taking the dirty stuff off the tables. The sushi was fresh and there were plentiful varieties of sushi offered + the menu that youre able to order off of (through order panel) and comes on a different serving belt aside from the revolving belt was extensive too. The experience was interactive and fun however I would prefer a more traditional dine in experience. Nevertheless, it was worth a shot to give it a go. If ever in the area again, I would go for lunch as its not too crowded. Waiting area is outside by the way! Ask for Danny if you do go as hell take great care of you! Thank you Danny and Kura for making this experience a memorable first time!

Comment: So I have been here 3 times now; all for lunch. Getting a table has always been quick, probably because it is lunch and I was solo. The food itself is good. The quality of all the nigiri I have tried (and I have tried them all here) is top notch. The only drawback is that the slice of fish or meat on top is very thin. It really does seem like 2 slices from here is equivalent to 1 slice at other places. That being said … Kura does offer variety which other places don’t. They use yuzu, and ponzu, and more to enhance the sushi experience. Other places just serve straight nigiri and rolls. Kura does have variety other places don’t.But that is not what most people are here for. They are here for the gimmick. The gimmick which is done really really well. The whole revolving sushi thing is great. It is nice to see food going around and people can take things they may otherwise not just by the look of it.Also one major note. Even though I was seated fast there were still people in the restaurant. More than enough. Even when a certain roll or nigiri went by, when the same plates went around again a plate would be gone. Which is great for turnover. You don’t have to worry about something being out for too long. Even if the place isn’t packed. You of course could order exclusively on the tablet for your party. That was my initial plane. However just seeing something you want going by. This sense of wonder comes over you and you take it off the belt. One negative. The table wasn’t spotless. It wasn’t filthy by any means, but there were streaks on the tables. I only sat at a table 1 time each time I went I usually sat at the counter which I prefer and was always spotless.1 place where Kura shines beyond the gimmick is their limited menu. I have only tried 2 of their limited menu’s but both were outstanding and unique. I will go back just to try the next limited menu.

Comment: First time at Kura, I suggest coming early as wait times can take up to 1.5+ hour. I came around 6p put my name down and waited about 30 minutes. While checking in the hostess was a bit rude when I asked her a question regarding my table... I sat by the counter, I highly suggest ordering your rolls on the tablet versus grabbing it from the conveyor belt because it didnt seem too fresh from the conveyor belt than ordering it. The rice was a bit sticky and wet so that was a bit disappointing. There is a robot that comes to bring to your drinks, the restaurant is spacious. My favorite roll was the flying shrimp, it was very fresh! Also please do yourself a favor and DO NOT get the watermelon there. It did not look fresh nor appetizing at all not sure why they would have watermelon part of their dessert menu please save yourself money and do not get it.

Comment: This place is amazing first off. I live walking distance and just moved to the area so figured Id give this place a try and it did not disappoint. I’ll give a rundown on what to expect: If you go at a busy time there will be a wait, I went Saturday night and wait said 60-75 mins but you leave your number and get a text to check in (and was more like 45 mins at most) when you get seated you can basically start right away. The plates pop out easily and you just put them in a plate slot when done (how they know what to charge based on number of plates) the atmosphere was nice and they had a Jujutsu Kaisen collab which was cool too so after getting a certain number of plates you get a collectible in a dispenser that pops out.Now onto the food: I dont know where some of the hate comes from but the food is on point. They have various options from seared beef to shrimp to raw options aswell. Plates were roughly $3.75 each which isnt bad considering you basically just pay for what you eat. Only downside I can say is the rice falls apart pretty easy on most rolls but flavor wise I enjoyed it especially seared dishes like the seared scallops or seared salmon with japanese mayo. Overall my gf and I spent about $102 combined before tip for 22 plates, a Sapporo and a small sake which really wasnt bad and we left full. There were spurts where the conveyor was mostly empty but hey people are human and expecting there to ALWAYS be dishes available on a busy night is stupid, the chefs do a great job when they can and if theres something you want that isnt on the conveyor you can just order it direct from the touchscreen. Overall will definitely come back here with friends and family because this place is great. Oh and honestly didn’t like the conch it had a more firm consistency I wouldnt recommend. Favorites Id say are the wagyu, seared scallops, fried rock shrimp, and seared salmon. They also have seasonal dishes and hot food I didnt get to try but theres always next time.

Comment: It’s an authentic Kura sushi experience as you might experience in Japan as well. This is not the place to come looking for Nobu or other high-end places. With that in mind, we can get to the point of Kura sushi - the joy of getting whatever that entices you as you see it flow by you. The service was attentive- you press the call button and the nice person comes to help you. It’s all good fun!

Comment: Decided to finally check out this place. Went on a weekday night and waited 5 minutes to be seated. It was kind of confusing as the kiosk outside said our wait time would be 0-5 minutes and to wait for a text when the table would be ready, the sign on the door said to wait outside, but the text said to check in with the host and no host could be found. But regardless, our wait time was super short and we got seated quickly. The server was kind and explained everything very thoroughly. The revolving sushi is a cool concept! There were a good amount of options on the revolving belt but you can also order whatever you’d like off the menu and it also comes straight to you on the belt as well. They had the robots bringing us our drinks which was cute. In my opinion, the food itself was nothing impressive. It was good but not the best sushi I’ve ever had. It was about $3.75 per small plate but they had other dishes/plates that cost more. Some reviews said it was expensive but for a restaurant in this area, I thought that was fair and similar to other prices in the area. The concept is fun and everyone should experience it at least once, but don’t go just for the food because there are better options in this area.

Comment: Fun experience but kind of expensive. Went here for lunch and I over indulged and ate about 8 plates and some speciality items totaling $47 by myself...tax and tip cost over $55.I went to a Kura in Tokyo and it was like this price for 2 people eating a lot...The sushi was great, some items small portion like the Toro one piece or Scallop one piece...the soft shell crab tempra excellent. The dessert was delicious too I had the Taiyaki ice cream. Go for fun, but not if you are hungry.

Comment: We visited at prime lunch hour (12pm noon) on Labor Day. It was a 30 min wait which was not bad for a holiday. We were notified via text when our table was ready and we were seated quickly. The table wasnt thoroughly wiped down and there were prior diners food/grease marks on the table. The sushi was good and ordering was easy on the tablet above the table. Sushi on the conveyor belt was insufficient... The ones we were waiting for were always empty, so we ended up ordering ramen to supplement. Ramen broth was delicious but the ramen itself was shortened/cut and I personally didnt like that aspect of it.

Comment: Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is a new, fun, and entertaining restaurant, unlike any other nearby. Here, sushi revolves around a a conveyor belt and you pull off the plates of sushi you want to eat. Then you deposit the plate into a slot to count your plates. Each plate costs $3.75 and comes with 2-4 pieces of sushi. You can also order other food items as well as drinks from the tablets at each table. The drinks are delivered to your table by a robot. Overall, the atmosphere and experience is super enjoyable! The food was also really good! There were some unique options I have never seen before like the garlic tempura phildelphia roll and american beef rolls. I would absolutely return with friends!

Comment: Tasted better than I expected for a gimmicky restaurant. We arrived at 11:30am for lunch on a Sunday and there was no wait and plenty of seating. Premade sushi, rolls and some dessert go around and you can grab from the moving belt and you can order a from the menu on an iPad gadget on the wall. Food ordered from the menu came out fairly quickly. We tried the sushi, ramen and ice cream and all was good. There was only one working bathroom which was kind of annoying for the number of seats on the restaurant. Other than that I would come back again.

Comment: Great time here ! The kids loved it . The portions were fair for the price and the food was tasty. If any other peoples “cost to value” ratio was offended (as many of the one star reviews were ), I suggest they get some sushi from an American grocery store .Otherwise a great experience and worth the brief waiting timeThese one star reviews seem to be super frugal and unrealistic Chinese people (I am Chinese ) who seems to want an Omasake experience for cheap lol . They obviously checked their sensibilities and common sense outside in the wait list .Addendum: I am not a Kura shill. This is the first time I went. But I have a small business as well and I cannot tolerate entitled customers who demand concierge level service for a very low price and on demand and do not want to wait in line. Many of these 1 and 2 star reviews are focused on the WAIT time. This place just opened. Pick another time to come jeez. Go drive to New Jersey and then complain about the gas and the traffic. Gosh what entitled first world problems some of these people in this review show. These are obviously ABCs who have never experienced a day of adversity in their lives. If I saw a wait time that long, I would leave and go one of the other wonderful restaurants in Carle Place or on Old Country Road. I would not feel so entitled as to demand instant service from a restaurant like these 1 and 2 star reviews showed.

Comment: Dined in with some friends on Sunday; we had a reservation and got in around the time we arrived, so luckily we didnt run into the seating issues that have been plaguing some of the other reviews. Table was clean.$3.75 for 1-3 pieces of sushi (1 pc. premium sushi like Toro, 2 pcs. of Tuna, and 3 pcs. of rolls), ~$11 for a bowl of ramen. Compared to some All-You-Can-Eat sushi places in the area its a pretty steep asking price. However, there are benefits to this system:I. Great for trying out sushi that youre not sure youd like at AYCA (especially with the finish your food or youre paying for the roll rule)II. Great for introducing people without much experience in sushiIII. Get sushi way faster and wait way less (depending on group sizes it can take almost half an hour between rounds of sushi at AYCA. Here its five minutes and your orders ready)That being said unless youre careful it adds up quick. Six plates, a bowl of ramen and one dessert and thats $40 pre tax/tip for one person. Thats an average of 12 pcs of sushi and a bowl of noodle soup for 10 bucks more than what you might pay at other restaurants for a similar amount of foodIm no sushi expert, but Ive been eating at many different sushi restaurants on LI for the past ten years or so, with lots of them being not so good. Kuras sushi is squarely in good territory. For the volume of sushi they put out thats pretty impressive. The shoyu ramen was okay, but I suggest you stick with the sushi unless youre not a fan of fish on rice.tl;dr Great spot for introducing groups of people to sushi OR a quick bite to eat, but youll be paying a convenience fee.

Comment: Came here on a Saturday night for dinner, and this place gets BUSY. They dont take reservations, but they do have a virtual wait list, that being said, come early, this place fills up fast. After trying pretty much everything on the sushi menu, I can say that the food isnt anything to write home to mom about, its good, but you can find a lot better around. The favorites were the crispy rice and tuna and the cream tart for dessert, but I did want to try the mochi and ice cream as well. The real reason youre coming here is for the fun conveyor belt gimmick and the prizes you can get for eating plates which is a lot of fun. Would absolutely come back here just to show friends, and I think it would make a great date spot. Again, it can be a little pricey for what you get, but part of that is paying for the experience, which I think is pretty much worth it. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there is plenty of parking in the two big lots right in front and to the side.

Comment: Have a wonderful time at this restaurant, between the atmosphere and the food. Even when I couldnt find a food that I liked, primarily because the people before us would get to it before we could, we were still able to order and it came out quickly and in such a cute way. Totally going to be going back to this place.

Comment: I enjoyed it. The place is different. The food was very good. The one problem with it is, if youre sitting in a booth for 4 people, the conveyor belt only goes one way. First off, for both people sitting on the outside of the booth, its difficult for them to see whats coming and take something. Not to mention, whether inside or outside, if the conveyor belt is coming from behind you, its hard to see whats on it without turning your head around backwards. For those reasons, I recommend not sitting at a booth. The option is a sushi bar type of thing where the conveyor belt passes in front of you. If you are sitting at a booth, you can order off of the electronic menu and the upper conveyor belt brings it and stops right at your table.

Comment: I love rotating sushi bars and this one did not disappoint. Food was incredibly fresh and tons of options. My only gripes are the wait time is absolutely horrendous. Like minimum 1-2 hours. And the check in via their website was pointless so that wasted more time. Server is not very attentive after your initial sit down and drink order but that’s usually how these work.

Comment: No pictures unfortunately because I forgot to take some but I will say the experience was different and everyone should try at least once! If youre not careful your bill can rack up really fast because of all the things you want to try!! My only disappointment was the takoyaki, in my opinion did not meet my standards and was somewhat cold in the middle...Overall a very good experience, staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they have a robot that brings your drinks! Make sure to go early because it gets busy REALLY QUICK. Also, if you need incentives to eat a lot, you get a small prize every 15 dishes!

Comment: I love that Kura has the waitlist option on their app. We went on a Saturday afternoon and knew the wait would be long since 1. it just recently opened, and 2. its a weekend. There is a Barnes and Noble right next to Kura so we were able to browse around while we waited for our table. After waiting about 1.5 hours we got that exciting text that our table is almost ready and we should check in with the front. We walked over, found the person with the tablet and let them know we were here. They said to wait and we sat down and waited by the fountain. I was unsure why there were so many people waiting by the door but I found out its because you cannot hear names being called even from 3 ft away. We kept waiting and it turned into about 45 minutes I walked to the hostess and asked how long it would be. She said they called my name and when I didnt answer they gave away my table. They put me back on the list and we waited about another 15 minutes. You may have asked why didnt I just leave well my family waited about 2 hours already and it was just principle at this point. We finally get our table and started ordering right away since we have been to a Kura before and no waitstaff asked us any questions or ever stopped by.We ordered our drinks from the tablet above the table, waited for sushi to come around on the belt but found many of the selections were already taken so we ordered whatever we wanted through the tablet. When we were done we paid through the QR code and were finished eating in about 30 mins. Was it worth the 2+ hour wait? probably no, the sushi was mediocre, gachapon prize was a DC character pin, bill was about 150 for 3 people.I dont think the hype will die down with Kura so be aware you will need to be patient for a table. Was it fun? Definitely. Getting your food on a fun conveyer belt, inserting your plates in the slot, drinks being served by a robot, and waiting for a gachapon is super fun!If you take anything away take away this tip: when you get the text, let the hostess know youre here and wait by the door so you can hear your name. Also come with patience!

Comment: You need to visit this place at least 2 times to get the full experience.Ive been to the Kura in Fort Lee, NJ, so I had a little heads up. Its an easy concept, but finding what rolls you like before you get full was a challenge. The portions arent terrible for the price, but they add up quickly. This is a new location, so its almost always busy. The other downside is that the rolls run out fast, and ordering them on the screen takes a while, depending on the roll.Go a time or 2, try the sushi, and enjoy the experience.

Comment: Love kura, same good food every branch. First time coming to Long Island branch, so much space esp the parking lots in a shared complex. Got there half an hour before they opened and signed in on the waitlist. Got called after the first party and seated right away. The robot delivered our drinks. Too bad they sold out the salmon toro - my favorite- on that Sunday. Very convenient place and its near lots of shopping center. Will definitely go back there.

Comment: I went on Sunday 8/13/23 at 1PM with a friend. There was No waiting area, and there is a sign that says that guests need to wait outside the restaurant. We didn’t have to wait outside though, as there was no line. Inside, however, no one greeted us, and multiple workers walked past us. We finally got a hold of someone, and they dismissively gestured toward another server, saying that she was the one who seats people. She did not address us until she delivered multiple checks to customers, which had her walk up to the front multiple times, and she did not acknowledge us. After a bit I got her attention, and she eventually took us to a table. Then another person came and monotonously gave us the run-down of the operations. The food was awesome though. Rice was not anything to write home about, but the fish and beef and all the things on top of the rice was amazing. Contradictory to the other reviews here, although some of the food options were empty as they passed by because others took some, more would eventually reach us within 5-8 minutes. And the direct delivery system was very, very fast. Within 2 minutes of ordering. The staff left a LOT to be desired, but the food was great.

Comment: A very Japanese experience... better yet - Japan experience. Theyve been using the conveyor belt method for eons very successfully and its about time were getting them stateside! Cool look, feel and flavor - didnt have a plate we didst like... just a couple we didnt like as much as others! Highly recommended - sat at counter top; however wouldve preferred the table space better. Staff is helpful, but the robot brings you your drinks! Hes sneaky too... watch he doesnt scare you when suddenly showing up behind you! You receive and pay by plates - each plate will cost you $3.75 (unless it states otherwise). You receive a bonus toy for every 15 plates you re-deposit. Hard to explain; but youll get it when you go. Very highly recommended.

Comment: For those who have never been to Kura Sushi this is a unique experience. Sushi is ordered via a touch pad by your table or you can take existing plates from the conveyer. For sushi and certain items, you are charged per plate and every 15 plates you deposit in the plate recepticle you get a prize which is neat. Make sure to come early and enter your party size because the wait times are really long. So if you plan to eat at 5pm, def put your name in at 4pm or before. You can also use the app to put your name in. Drinks and certain items such as ramen have different prices ans dont count towards the plates that are needed for the prize. There were no alcoholic drinks when we went. Maybe they didnt have their liquor license yet. Some tips. Avoid the Ramen if you plan to pig out on sushi. It takes up a lot of space and you can get better ramen elsewhere. The crispy rice sushi plates take a while to make so dont expect them to bring them out quick if they are not already on the carousel. Otherwise this was a great place to get a unique sushi eating experience. Staff was great and very attentive. Bathrooms were clean and the whole area was nice in general. Im just glad they finally have a location in Long Island.

Comment: The food is better than most supermarkets and fast food sushi but less than some actual sushi places. The wait time for Saturday was 6 hours for 4 people, so we originally wanted to eat lunch, but I put ourselves for dinner. Comment: Went to the restaurant last week with my son. Arrived around opening time - checked in and waited about 5 minutes. The 2 hostesses at the door were very friendly and engaging. The conveyer belt was slow with food at the beginning but then we realized that you can actually order the menu items and not wait for the items to pass you by on the conveyer belt. Food was DELICIOUS and plentiful. Liked the selection and quality of the food. Their cheesecake is a must have. For about $40 a person we left fully satisfied and happy.

Most reviews saying that the place is confusing and staff are not attentive, it’s designed to be semi self-serve sushi place. Instructions with pictures are clearly posted on every table. Seafood is fresh, sushi rice is one of the better ones I’ve had compared to regular sushi restaurants. Don’t forget to try the salmon skin with shishito peppers. Price is on par with any good sushi restaurants.

Comment: Great service and overall experience. No reservations, so we downloaded their app to get on the remote wait-list line and were notified when to check-in. We did have to wait a long time, but once we arrived, we were all excited. You are limited to how much you can order at once, but once your orders start arriving, you can resume with ordering more. Couldve been that we had a late dinner time or that other patrons were just as hungry, but wish the conveyer belt had more food and less empty plates passing by. Though I o understand not wanting to be wasteful with food.Kids loved the watermelon and cucumber salad, beef yakiniku with rice and miso soup. Adults enjoyed the sashimi (salmon, tuna, yellowtail). Our waitress was super friendly, helpful, and nice to us all.For me, it was the whole experience. Very fun. Looking forward to trying it out again and ordering different dishes.Bonus : Every 15 plates you finish, gets you a free little toy!

A bit pricey but worth the experience - I will look forward to coming back.Did not dine:Joined waitlist via app, then went to hostess to tell her we were here. Later, when we asked her about our place in line, she said she didn’t actually check us in the first time, so we got placed at the end of the “checked in” line - after already waiting around 30 minutes.Left 1hr after that. I guess use the iPad or 100% make sure the hostess checks you in.Not totally clear what the point of the app waitlist is - you still must make sure with the hostess that you have a spot on line. And I did tell the hostess face-to-face our party had arrived, but it still seems like she forgot to actually put our place in line.

Comment: Went to Kura for the soft opening yesterday after receiving the exclusive invite for being on their mailing list with a $5 coupon. I told a friend about it who never heard of the concept and upon explaining they were sold. The soft opening started at 12pm so I knew to show up for 11:30am. We showed up to find quite a few people there already. The staff soon after brought out a tablet to check in. I walked up after a few groups before me and punched in my info and got an esimated 15-25min wait time. Everything went smoothly after that once 12pm hit they called the first groups in and about 20 min later i got called. I will say we felt bad because we didnt know if others who showed up as the crowd built up even knew to sign in there and someone there told me the app wasnt letting people check in to the waitlist til after 12pm thus someone really should have been outside to let people know. My first experience of conveyor sushi was definitely novelty - we all enjoyed the new experience and had fun. The waitstaff was helpful and we even made the mistake of not asking for refills and ordering our 2nd sodas which got knocked off our bill after they explained to inform them for free refills not to order them again. For me, the sushi was as good as any other place Ive had, the Ramen was very good, and the Ten Jyu (tempura) was also as satisfactory as anywhere else. For 3 people with my $5 coupon we had 24 plates at $3.75, 1 Ramen, 1 Udon, 2 orders of Ten Jyu, and 3 sodas for $150 after leaving $10 cash tip...not bad. I will say as someone who only does limited sushi I loved the 3 meat options for Nigiri and still had plenty to eat with the cooked shrimp, eel, etc. I see the initial reviews are harsh and they definitely need to work out some kinks but cut them some slack. They did great for a soft opening - just need to work on communication & procedure. Its a very gimmicky place as I said earlier more a novelty experience you gotta have once at least. Wish them the best of luck!

Comment: Glad that we have Kura closer to home! Sushi was delicious and atmosphere was good, just a little bit of complication when trying to self check out. Other than that 9/10 experience and will come back again.

Comment: Tasty sushi! Dare I say: the sushi quality reminded me of their Japan locations (which is a good thing). Here’s what you need to know to enjoy your time:- Adding our names to the wait list was easy enough on the iPad by the door. We got a 50 minute wait estimate so we went shopping in the area (we went on opening day July 17). They text you as your spot gets closer, and as expected, ~50 minutes later, they called our name and we sat down soon after. New location / new staff, so there might be some kinks, which I’m sure they’ll work out over time (e.g. staff not bussing tables fast enough). Download the Kura app to see current wait times, add your name to the waitlist remotely, get rewards, etc.- See a delicious looking sushi going by on the first-level conveyor belt? Take it! The plates are kinda “latched” onto the plate holders so ignore the clear covers and just give the plate a firm upward tug, and the plate will will be yours.- Or order stuff a la carte from the iPad at your table. We did this mostly. A la carte plates arrive at your table via the second-level conveyor belt pretty quickly, ~5 minutes after you order in our experience.- Make sure to slide your empty plates into the slot at your table to potentially get a prize from the prize dispenser at your table, when you hit 15 empty plates (we got a cute cable tie)- The uni urchin was actually flavorful and had that distinct “ocean” taste and buttery texture, which I feel is uncommon at this price pointIMO, it’s hard to find sushi this good in the NYC metro area at this price point. Their tuna, salmon, eel, uni were all quite tasty. My wife and I had 15 plates of pretty good quality sushi for $55 (after a $5 coupon). A welcome addition to the area and we’ll definitely be going back to this Kura location soon.

Comment: Absolutely botched opening. Ive been to kura in New Jersey several times and was excited for this location to open closer to home.Their July 16 soft opening was a communications nightmare. Some of my friends received an email informing them of the soft opening, while others did not, sowing confusion within our circle. We arrived early on July 17 to an already massive crowd for the grand opening with no staff directing or informing pedestrian traffic in the shopping center. We assumed that we would simply join the waitlist when the location opened on their app like we have done for fort lee numerous times.Turns out they had been letting people inside before opening time to join the waitlist while those on the kura app were unable to. Again, it would have been great if they had staff outside to inform those waiting outside of this. Now our party is waiting on a +2 hour waitlist despite being early. I hope the food and service is as good or better than their other locations and dont reflect this chaotic opening. Especially since their prices are higher at this location.Edit: Im happy to say that it was worth the wait. However I wish that kura would look into more open and direct communication with its customers. This seems to be a reoccurring theme over several locations at the very least.

Comment: So happy to have Kura close to home! Bigger than the Fort Lee location. Great variety of choices and enthusiastic staff. You can check in for a table online and the wait times are fairly accurate. Opening day (not the soft open) seems to have been a success. They even opened doors a little early to accommodate the crowd. Definitely going to be making this a regular lunch/dinner option.
