Comment: Went there after my son’s birthday party.. Food is awesome, price is very reasonable. My favorite are uni, salmon sushi and ramen.. Sushi size is decent. My son had 16 pieces of salmon sushi. See my photos, glad to find a new place to go! We ate all!!

Comment: This sushi restaurant even has Korea style chicken wings! We used to need to go to Asian town to find the authentic Korean chicken wings. But now we don’t have to travel far anymore, we can have the real taste anytime we want them.

Comment: The amount of food they give you is perfectly filling. Met a lot of regulars who go weekly for decades and this place already became my go- to spot. Waiters offer helpful recommendations and give assistance to everyone, even on very busy nights. Love the friendly and caring atmosphere in Kurofune!

Comment: I checked out Kurofune a couple of months ago and have become a regular. The fish is always super high quality and always tastes very fresh. The oyster yaki is a must try, as well the ceviches from the sushi bar that are my favorite. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is amazing. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, and are always attentive. This place is a must try if you are in the Long Island area!

Comment: First of all, I need to say this place picked a fun name. Almost a satire of the original Korofune event in history. But the food was equally good. Eel here reserved a special mention. It’s thick, juicy, and well flavored. Fish here was fresh and tasty. The knife work for the sushi could be improved, but the taste was unparalleled. Hot sake here are also good sake. It’s flavorful but mild. Love this place.

Comment: I was surprised by the variety of sushi and sashimi in this restaurant. Salmon, tuna, octopus, squid, quail egg, yellow tail, you name it. They taste really delicious and look extremely beautiful. We ordered high-grade sashimi and chirashi. The server is very polite and nice. We sat outdoor and feel really free and cozy in a Sunday evening with all the lights on. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to my local friends.One reminder: The portion is big here - have a light lunch and come here for dinner :)

Comment: Got a sushi place for you in in Commack, Kurofune.... totally amazing... appetizers #1 Korean Bulgogi- thinly sliced rib-eye marinated in signature Korean sauce, served on sizzling hot skillet...seriously delicious. App #2 Ika Maru- grilled whole squid with sweet soy sauce...frickin awesome...main round- Fireman Roll- spicy crunch tuna, jalapeno inside with tuna carpaccio on top w/ wasabi mayo. Vinny Roll- shrimp tempura inside w/ tuna, salmon, yellowtail & eel on top. Comment: Always a great meal! The Best Japanese Restaurant with a little bit of Korean thrown in. Easy to see right off of Commack Road close to Jericho Turnpike. A stand alone building with plenty of parking. A wheelchair accessible ramp and entrance. The staff is great because they treat you like family. Sit at the sushi bar for that one on one experience. Clean facilities. Public Restroom. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Highly Recommended!!!
