Comment: On Saturday night, I decided to dine out and had the pleasure of experiencing the delightful Salmon Bowl, also known as the Buddah Bowl. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The salmon itself was incredibly tender and fresh, and just the thought of it is making my mouth water once again. One thing worth mentioning is the prompt service we received as soon as we arrived. However, its worth noting that there was a line outside the restaurant as soon as we sat down. Despite that, the atmosphere inside was quaint and accompanied by good music, which added to the overall experience.Interestingly, most people at the restaurant seemed to be enjoying bowls of Ramen, which looked exceptionally appetizing.

Comment: Food surprised me! The staff was super friendly, gave me my boba drink and mistakenly made another one and still gave it to me even though I informed them I got mine (felt so bad that I got a second one for free). The atmosphere is definitely an anime lovers vibe (me). But the food was the most important part and it was amazing! I got the pork belly over rice and it was so good that now I’m going to making a stop here at least once a week!

Comment: I’ve been coming here since 2020 & I can honestly say the staff here goes above & beyond! They keep this place clean & as soon as you walk in there’s a table ready for you. If it’s cold out, i highly recommend coming here because the ramen will warm you up. I also recommend the miso pork, or beef, but if you don’t like eating meat, they have options without any meats & it definitely looks good still! They definitely won’t disappoint because they never disappointed me ever since 2020! Great spot to come with friends, a date or even by yourself. Try it out you guys. They even have sushi!!!

Comment: Oishii !!I always love a good bowl of cold ramen in the summer and not many places offer that. This ramen joint serve cold TAN TAN NOODLE as the seasonal special and its sooo good. Noodle is al dante and instead of the usual minced pork, you get a load full of pulled pork sprinkle with crispy garlic and chilli oil.My friend which doesnt take pork loves the chicken broth ramen (she gave me all her pork slices). The place may be unnoticeable from the street, they definitely serve up some good food.

Comment: Pretty typical American diner in terms of food and ambiance. I was really looking forward to a pastrami Reuben, but when I got there the pastrami was not ready yet and had over an hour left to cure. I can appreciate that good pastrami takes time, but I didn’t have time to wait. I got pastrami hash with over easy eggs instead. It was pretty fatty, greasy, and heavy, but the flavor was good. Strawberry cheesecake was average. The sweet cream was not sweet.

Kuu Ramen in the heart of the Financial District did not disappoint! You could easily walk by it on the street if you werent looking for it and could easily be turned off by the tight seating area once inside. But I promise its worth it!The menu haa a variety of chicken and pork based ramen along with classic Don bowls and hand rolls. Comment: Best ramen Ive ever had! This was a small restaurant but it was clean and the service was fast! The pork belly buns were fantastic, very tender and flavorful. They were fresh tasting with the veggies but had a lot of balancing flavors with the saucesSpicy tuna handroll was also very flavorful. The tuna was chopped and was not overpowered by the rice. Classic handroll done very wellSpicy Tonkotsu Miso was the best ramen Ive ever had hands down. The broth was an incredible savory mix that was to die for. The pulled pork was tender and the egg was still slightly soft in the middle, allowed for that creamy texture to balance everything. I loved the spice here, it was present but not overpowering by any means.Overall a 5/5 for cleanliness, service, and flavor!

The broth was so flavorful and at the right temperature. The karaage chicken was succulent and crispy. The plum wine went down so smooth and it was so sweet! I absolutely recommend this place. I must return to try other menu items. Perfect place to go with friends (I did, and we all loved it). The prices are also decent, not to experience given the area. Comment: Just ate here for the firs time and I was impressed. I ordered the tonkotsu shio ramen. The broth was super silky and flavorful. I used to think that Ippudo was the best ramen shop in the city but this place definitely won me over. And get this they have kakuni topping which Ippudo stopped serving some time ago. Definitely will be visiting often.

Comment: A nice tiny ramen restaurant very friendly. The ramen selection quite limited but they are good. You can choose between ramen or rice bowl. The spicy tonkatsu is not too spicy but have a bit of kick. Appetizers wise they also have good selection. Japanese fried 🐔 is really good and not too greasy. Tina tartar is fresh and tasty. And on special note you for Keto or Atkins dieter you can ask to replace the ramen noodles with bean sprout. Which is make it more special since bean sprout 🌱 is really crunchy. The homemade chilly or hot sauce taste like sambal belacan without the shrimp 🦐 paste and specially taste good. The 🧀 or creampuff as desert is a good ending for ur meal Try it when u in the area.

Comment: I was really impressed with the ramen from Kuu, especially at the price point (around $15). Appetizers were also superb—the chicken was amazing, pork bun was delicious, and fries were well-seasoned (not pictured). Personally wouldn’t order the hand roll again, but only because the other dishes were so good.

Comment: One of the better ramen spots Ive had. Got the tonkotsu shio ramen. Price was ok, 13-14 bucks. Thiiccc pork belly slices, but could use some more seasoning I think. Still delicious though. Noodles were great, soup was well done. Arugula is a bit confusing for ramen but it worked surprisingly well. Service was fast and they did check our vaccination cards. we also got the fried squid legs as an appetizer. Came with cucumber and sriracha mayo. 5 stars for the appetizer! Lets just say you could stumble upon something like this in Japan. Worth a try!

Comment: The Kuu Ramen menu has something for everyone, and is the perfect place for a casual date night! My boyfriend and Is first time there, we dined in a cute cubicle within the restaurant. We ordered some sake (which was admittedly strong for us) and paired that with some Lychee Calpico which was delicious! We then got the Takoyaki which was a cheesy, gooey ball of flavor. After the appetizer, we ordered the famous Kuu Chili Ramen and Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. The Kuu Chili broth brought the heat as promised, but added a lasting, spectacular taste to the rest of the dish. The noodles were the perfect blend of soft and chewy. The Spicy Tonkotsu was also a great mix of creamy and tangy. Will definitely be back to try more (especially the Matcha Crepe Cake!)

Comment: Ive ordered from Kuu multiple times, delivery and pickup, excellent both ways. Ramen very tasty (love the arugula in my soup!) as well as okonomiyaki & donburi (preferred their tuna to the 2 different salmons I tried). Other stuff has all been solid too. Appreciate the low markup on beverages and prepackaged treats, although the sliver of cheesecake could be a teeny bit bigger. Reminds me of another restaurant I love, Shinbashi72 on UWS, in this regard as well as their authentic Japanese flavor vs price ratio. I feel like you usually need to drop more cash to get real Japanese je ne sais quoi & service like this in nyc...

Comment: My wife and I stopped here while in the financial district in Manhattan (we had just toured the NY Federal Reserve Museum and Underground Gold Vault) - my wife had the Miso Veggies Ramen and I had the Kuu Chili Chili Ramen and we shared an order of Japanese Fried Chicken The depth of flavors was as though the broth was simmered for hours and hours. Handmade noodles and accompaniments made these Ramen bowls like none other youve ever had! The sansho pepper and spicy mayo for the Japanese fried chicken put it over the top great!

Comment: Haven’t had the opportunity to dine in at this ramen shop yet. But I’ve ordered a couple times during this pandemic because I miss my ramen! So my experience is based on take out and do they a fantastic job! The ramen and broth are in separate containers so the noodles don’t get soggy and it’s presented beautifully. The shoyu ramen smells amazing and tastes delicious. After I pour the broth in, I do need to pop it into the microwave to heat it up so it comes out hot like it would while dining in.The prices are fair for a ramen shop in Manhattan. It’s delicious and I will be a returning customer!

Comment: First off Im not a huge fan of paying what Id like to call the ramen multiples. 15$ for a noodle soup in my mind is just way more than it should cost. Therefore I made the GF pay for this meal 😁. In NYC there are so many ramen places so Im writing this from a perspective of everyday ramen versus that unique special ramen that I will remember forever. Place is small, service is fast. The noodle quality is decent. I got the tonkasu shoyu which is awesome because it comes with the egg. Soup base was good; not overly salty and you can tell it wasnt watered down etc. The pork pieces were nice size. Other places (other fancier places) have slice them extremely thin...Im not a fan of that. They essentially make you order extra which is another 4$. Which leads to my point of expensive multiples. This place doesnt do that which is great

Comment: An exceptionally good Japanese ramen place hidden away in the mazes of Downtown Manhattan. This place is absolutely our favorite go-to for a cold/rainy day. There is quite a bit of fan-fare around it so be prepared to have wait in queue 15-20 mins particularly in weekends. My favorite pick in their pretty awesome spread is Kuu chili, a bit of a spicy broth with an amazing mix of ground chicken and pork meat. They have a nice collection of Japanese beverages on the shelf to compliment the spicy ramen.
