Comment: Our go to Sushi spot since moving to the neighb some 20 yrs ago. They managed to stay open during COVID but have stoppedformally serving in house. They will serve you however although it seems to be more of a take out spot. Imaginative sushi well-priced. (Tuna Dumplings one of our faves)

Comment: We went here as tourists on our first trip to NYC ever and the food was absolutely amazing. They dont seem to offer indoor dining anymore but the gentleman running the place graciously accommodated us as it was my birthday - and gifted us a piece of cheesecake even! No frills but the food and price are amazing, dont miss this place!

Comment: I ordered the beef teriyaki dinner box, it’s was glazed perfectly and my pork gyoza was tasty too. I over the soda, it was lite and man I gobbled that down quickly. The portion was so big I couldn’t finish my sushi but that was really good too. Service was great and the complimentary pineapples really helped give a balance to my savory meal. Thanks!

Comment: I can’t say enough glowing things about Kyoto. They have delivered to us at least once a week (more often twice a week) for years. ALWAYS OUTSTANDING. Their prices are extraordinarily fair for what they offer. Their sashimi is always so fresh and perfectly cut. When Kyoto closed during the pandemic, we tried Hibino, which was OVERLY expensive and…. Just couldn’t hold a candle to how Kyoto sushi chefs slice sashimi. We just stopped eating Japanese - without Kyoto, it just wasn’t worth it. Thankfully, they have reopened. They continue to deliver their A+ food in the midst of this pandemic. Do what you can to support this amazing establishment in our neighborhood. Order their top notch food! To everyone who works at Kyoto - thank you for doing what you do and with such speed, kindness, grace, and excellence. You are treasured and…. Thank you for making and sharing your delish food.

Comment: Came here today for lunch which was incredible as they offer you the lunch special for sashimi for $13 with a salad or soup and it also comes with edamame and two pieces of shumai Even on the weekend. The fish tasted very fresh and the service was on point will definitely be coming back

Comment: I always order Avacado Rolls. I’m a very picky person when it comes with my food and only like when it’s “clean”. This is the only place which makes Avacado Rolls without Fish Eggs being inside or anywhere around the avacado roll itself & on top of that it doesn’t taste fishy.. (Except once, hence the reason for 4/5 stars) *In other places, the avacado rolls would be unappetizing for me and definitely cross contaminates with their equipments. If I wanted fish in my avacado rolls I would order like a salmon roll or something..*This is the spot to go for avacado rolls!!Employees are really polite, super nice and attentive!Clean environment

While I was there there was a horribly obnoxious woman who complained about every single dish and seemed to not be able to rest until everyone around her was as deeply miserable as she obviously was.The wait staff never stopped smiling, they never stopped trying to help. I can tell they are very kid-friendly here bc of how patient they were with a couple of families with small kids. Id come back here for a quick lunch. We came here about an hour away from closing time, since we were in a way to a late movie showing, and we were delighted that the food was fresh and delicious.
