Comment: I cannot recommend KYURAMEN enough. I came in with no expectations but I was blown away at how absurdly tasty my meal was! The private booths beneath the main seating area make you feel like you’re in a different world- certainly not in NYC. My husband ordered the #6 combo which was Spicy Kyushu Tonkatsu ramen with a steamed pork bao and Thai iced tea. I ordered the classic omurice with demi glace and the Amazing Lemonade, which was indeed amazing. Overall KYURAMEN in Flushing has delicious food with a beautiful, calming atmosphere and excellent service. My husband and I had a wonderful lunch and will absolutely be back again, I can’t wait! 💜

Comment: The atmosphere is beautiful and makes eating your meal more enjoyable. The wooden slats and modern lighting makes it feel like youre eating inside art. I believe the style is called Japandi, a mix of Japanese and Scandinavian decorative styles of using simple, well done furniture pieces to evoke a feeling of cleanliness and relaxation. After being seated upstairs, I ordered the tonkotsu and shio ramen. I dont know if they make their noodles in house or not but they taste and look like the one sold in the package. Not saying its bad, its just okay, enough, and nothing to be impressed about. If they had hakata style noodles then I would be impressed. The broth itself is too sweet for my taste, it tastes similar to premade Lee Kum Kee Japanese style pork bone soup base. I say that because Ive used it before and upon my first bite I immediately recalled that exact flavor.There were two tonkotsu styles to choose from, shio or miso I believe, and shio broths have a distinct clean salt flavor. The tonkotsu shio I ordered, I couldnt pick out the shio broth at all. The sweetness, whether from the corn or broth, overwhelmed everything else. The charsiu and menma were delicious however. The egg was nice and yolky but boy, do you need to try the spicy sauerkraut! That alone saved the dish. It would be perfect on rice, noodles, karaage, hell, put it on a donut and Id eat it. I feel like Kyuramen is close to perfection with the ramen toppings, but the broth is not quite there nor do the noodles taste special in any way. If I had more time in New York, maybe Id give other items on the menu a shot, but as far as the ramen goes.... I couldnt say its enough to come back.

They have excellent customer service and are very attentive to customers in a friendly manner.The food was very good 😊, I did enjoy it a lot and it was very filling, definitely it has a lot value for the money.Can’t complain about it at all because they did a very fast, easy and tasty experience for me and my friend. Comment: I could not come here last time as there was a long wait time, but I was able to get a table on my 2nd attempt. The food are delicious and the waitress was polite and helpful. We ordered a combo set and omurice. The demi-glace was suggest for the omurice since it was sweeter, but the waitress also claims the curry sauce was just as good. The noodles had good flavor, especially the spicy Miso Ramen. If you are not a fan of spicy food, do not worry since the spice level can be adjusted. The desserts were also sweet and beautiful looking! My advice is to plan your arrival since it could be crowded and there may be a long wait time.

Decided to try them out for a late lunch on a Saturday and it was pretty crowded with a short wait for a table.This is a popular place with an upstairs area as well as a number of private covered booths outside to handle the crowds. There is a large variety of ramen, including combination bowls, to choose from with plenty of options to customize it to your taste. There are several seasonings on the table too.They also have pork belly buns (which were a little too fatty for my taste) and lots of other cool food options to choose from. The service was quick and professional.My wife and I tried the Vegetable Miso and Classic Tokyo Shoyu ramen bowls and some edamame. I ordered the deluxe set which came with a pork bun and a thai iced tea (good). Both the ramen bowls had good flavor broth and excellent noodles. I cant quite put it in the great category but wouldnt hesitate to come back again. Definitely worth stopping by if youre craving some ramen.Forgot about the dessert that came with the set. It was a matcha flan with a little red bean on top. Really delicious

And the noodles were fantastic with great chew.We also got the matcha latte which was great and not too sweet.We did have an issue with the soft shell crab dish. We completely finished the ramen before that dish made it to the table which made it awkward for the one person who didnt get ramen since he pretty much had to sit and watch us eat. But when he got it, he said it was worth the wait so go figure!Definitely will revisit the next time we are in Queens.

Comment: One of the best ramen place to eat and chill with their own private rooms on the first floor. The Thai ice tea is by far their best drink item and is to die for. The pork buns are very tasty and tender with huge chunks of meat. Portion size is very generous especially with the appetizers. We got the Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu (left) and it was delicious the broth was very tasty, on the other hand Japanese Curry Ramen (right) was very disappointing due to the overpowering curry and the chicken cutlet was hard. It’s basically ramen but drenched in curry. Overall, it’s a must try place and I would definitely go back for the buns and Thai iced tea.

Comment: We visited Kyuramen on an impulse after walking around the Flushing area for a bit. We saw the sign and decided to check it out. The restaurant is very nicely appointed, with attention to detail and a mixture of modern and classic aesthetic. It was lunch rush when we arrived, so we had to wait 20 minutes for a seat. Once we were seated (upstairs,) the servers were very helpful and continually checked on us. We placed our orders for the Miso ramen combo, which came with a pork bun and Thai tea. The pork bun was very tender and tasted great, with complex flavor and juiciness. The ramen was excellent as well, with generous portions of ingredients. All-in-all, a great place to visit, would definitely go back.

The quality of ramen here is superb and I really enjoyed the private sitting area, water, and the combinations that came with the ramen (you have to specifically ask for the combo with your ramen). The matcha crepe cake slice was delicious and the tonkotsu broth was very light but still extremely filling which is exactly what youre looking for in good ramen! I also usually need to order an extra amount of noodles and this time I did not need to which was a very good thing. My server was very kind as well and checked up on me an appropriate amount of time throughout my experience. Overall this is a solid place to go if youre wanting a filling meal with lots of flavor, especially if youre from out-of-town like me!

Comment: Went at the time the place just opened and had to wait a little bit. I was glad that they allowed us to sit and wait inside. I didnt mind waiting because we were the first customers, I kind of felt bad at some point. We ordered two omurice with different sauce flavors and appetizer of shishito peppers. We didnt take a picture of the peppers because we forgot about it. We added the dried red peppers powder on the table to the shishito and it tasted much better to our palate. You can always use any pepper powder or pepper on the table to your food to make it more tasty to your palate. The omurice is so pretty, they cut the egg in front of you and pour the slice after, the orders came one by one. And I kind of liked the curry one better than the other sauce, forgot the name of it. But overall, the staff were super friendly and nice. Another thing, the Thai ice tea, I ordered without ice and it was super perfect. Will definitely go back to try the ramens.

Comment: Heard alot about this chain Japanese restaurant chain so we decided to try the Flushing, Queens location. We didnt have to wait to longer before being taken to the upstairs dining area to be seated. Its a cozy area with 7 tables which can sit over 2 dozen people comfortably and has the added convenience of a rest area. We ordered combination A, combination B, the classic Omurice Combo which was the real reason why we came and the Takoyaki octopus balls. The only disappointment was the octopus balls which were luke warm in the center which gives me the impression these were pre-made and kept in storage to be reheated. The ramen and broth were good overall, but a bit cooled. We had the drinks and appetizer arrive first and the noodles came out much later. We had curry sauce added to the Omelette Over Rice (Omurice) which was the only dish that was piping hot and came last. A good experience overall but we would venture to the location in Manhattan to see we can give that perfect score.

Comment: Kyu Ramen has the best pendemic dining set up. So many crowd-pleasers when it comes to the appetizers. The Takoyaki, Purple Sweet Potato Fries, and the Fried Potato Shrimp. Most definitely get an Omurice for the table, which the server will slice open for you — the egg is nice and fluffy, the rice well-seasoned, and the curry adding seasoning to the dish itself. The eel avocado rice burger is a straight up sushi patty. Can’t forget their ramen which they’re known for- the Thai Tom yum prawn ramen which had a tangy flavor to it. Had to douse all that down with their Thai iced tea, iced matcha latte filled with brown sugar and lemonade. And for the happy ending a mango and matcha crepe cake was definitely needed!

The shrimp was perfectly cooked, but the broth was not my favorite. Not bad, just a bit bland.I had similar feelings about the broth in the tonkatsu ramen (definitely not the best I’ve had), but I really liked the texture of the noodles!!Since we went on Valentine’s Day, we got a bonus crepe cake dessert that they had made just for the day! It was sooo pretty and tasty!I also just want to add that my friend and I both had sticker shock when the bill came out. Because it was so affordable!! The fried squid was crispy even when it turned cold👍. Ramen and the broth are only so-so to me. I understand ramen supposed to be a bit chewy, but the soup was not hot enough and the intended chewy became rubbery. The broth was not as favorful as I expected. Japanese cruise rely on freshness, similar to Cantonese cooking. The broth didnt have much of the roasted garlic aroma or the natural sweet taste. However, the meat in general (Roasted pork, pork belly) were nice and tender. The chicken was a bit chewy as well. The dessert puddings were nice, not sensational, but nice. Comment: I called at 6:17pm and was able to get a table for 2 at 6:30 on Labor Day. The staff were all so pleasant and service was prompt. I ordered sake and was told that it would be on the house if our bill was more than $40. Minus rhe cost of the sake, our bill was about $50 for appetizers, entree, and dessert. They were true to their word. The prices were reasonable and the options for sides such as additional noodles, ramen egg, etc were also very cheap. I had the shrimp ramen and my husband had the kimchi ramen which he loved. We also ordered pork bao which he absolutely devoured. He’s usually not a big eater, so I chalked it up to him being extremely hungry or the bao were just so amazing! They were very good and the pork was cooked to perfection. My fave part of my meal was the mango crepe cake! So flavorful and not too sweet. The set up is really nice outside of the restaurant. They have these little booths that help them to observe social distancing, without sacrificing aesthetics. All the servers wore masks and gloves.

Comment: My husband and I planned to visit KYURAMEN for their signature omelette rice when they opened a few months ago. However, we didn’t get a chance before the quarantine and the omelette rice is dine in only.We ordered for pick up for their Supreme Combo with Tokyo Tonkatsu Shoyu Ramen, Sapporo Miso Ramen, Popcorn Chicken, Japanese Cherry Blossom Jelly, Matcha Pudding with Red Bean and 2 drinks (Thai tea and lemonade). The price was $50 with tax, reasonable with great portion.The setup in the restaurant was well organized and clean so we had a great experience there. We were also impressed by how they packed the noodles and broth separately to keep the noodles chewy.The food was over all delicious, especially the broth of Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, creamy and flavorful. We also love the matcha pudding, sweet and addictive.

Comment: Stopped by for a quick bite with a friend and the ramen was delicious. The service was superb. The waiters would bring you a wet nap before you order and another wet towel after the meal. I would recommend this place to others if theyre in the Flushing area.

Comment: Beautiful decor and wonderfully welcoming atmosphere the food was above average but nothing to tell home about amazing. Unfortunately for me I only ordered the omurice but will definitely come back for the ramen. I wouldnt visit expecting super authentic Japanese food as I felt the Omurice felt like Chinese fried rice (the egg was delicious) This of course is just my view of the Omurice. Will definitely come back and see how good their ramen is.Oh yes! The tea they serve was delicious :)

Comment: I was excited to try the ramen here as they had a black garlic option. However I am not sure but there was a distinct difference in flavor level between my bowl and my friends who got the mega option. Also it was not enough garlic for me. I am not sure why there was such a large difference in flavor levels between the 2 ramen, but I was disappointed how mine tasted watered down.We also ordered the omurice with curry and pork. Quite fun to watch them cut the egg. Taste was delicious and very filling.

Comment: Great experience! Didn’t come in with a reservation so waited about 15-20 minutes. Got a private booth on the first floor, pretty cute with its wooden beams! Ordered the iced matcha latte with the brown sugar and it was delicious! My brother got Thai iced tea and said it was okay and preferred mine ( mine also looked better). We tried the shrimp ramen, the takoyaki, and an order of omurice with curry sauce, and for dessert the Japanese cherry blossom jelly. Shrimp ramen was really good, tasted amazing! And the same for the takoyaki, yummm definitely recommend. The omurice was what I initially came for and it was only okay, perhaps I should have ordered with it demi-glaze instead. But it still was good enough. It came with a side of miso soup but I’m not a fan of miso, so didn’t try it. Finished off with their pretty Japanese Cherry Blossom desert and it actually tasted like it, pretty refreshing and good after all that! Overall I would come back, the service was great and even wrote a message on the wooden boards before we left. Definitely worth a go in Flushing, with friends.

Comment: Awesome ramen. Nothing that I can complain about.The amazing lemonade is genuinely amazing. The ramen was delicious the noodles were great the broth tasty. The buns are also amazing soft and savory.The staff is also incredible. They are super attentive, kind and helpful. We had a great experience here and will definitely come back.

Comment: I ordered combo b which had 2 ramen bowl, 1 matcha pudding and one sakura raindrop cake and popcorn chicken for $35. But I wouldn’t recommend this combo because first, they didn’t have anymore of the sakura cake and the popcorn chicken was bland and didn’t have any season at all! But still affordable. However, I’ll recommend combo A instead because it’s $17 for a ramen, matcha pudding and a pork bao. Also, the pork bao was ok, but better than the popcorn chicken

Comment: Amazing place, amazing flavor, unfortunately no longer standing as it is burned down. I suggest going to one in Manhattan or Forest Hills.
