The biggest attraction is the rooftop deck, which offers panoramic views of the New York skyline. The rolls were fresh and filling. The Spicy Tuna Roll, Philadelphia Roll, and Scallop Roll and they were all delicious. Cocktail drinks are really delicious.

Comment: Amazing views from the rooftop, you can’t really get that at any other restaurant in this area. Drinks were amazing the first time I came, second time they were alright. Menu is a little overpriced for the quality of food but the servers were very nice and attentive. I would definitely come back if I just wanted drinks and sushi. Pad thai was not what I was used to, the sauce is definitely different than what I was used to. I would recommend any of the sushi rolls, I got the spicy tuna roll with crunch and i had to order another, that’s how good it was. I would place this restaurant as one of my top places for sushi, drinks & views.

Comment: My favorite local sushi place! The sushi and sashimi platter for two is my go-to with my partner. The fish is so fresh, and they have variety in what theyll serve. I try to take family and friends here whenever theyre in town. And their Lucky Lychee cocktail is sublime. Would highly recommend.

The food is really good, but just know you gonna pay around maybe 60 the most depending what you get for 2 people and thats only on food alone with 1 side and no drinks . I wouldn’t recommend eating indoors as the cleanliness of tables & charis could be improved, but the rooftop provides a mediocre view of LIC and is a unique spot for Astoria. Go when it’s nice out so you can sit on the roof.

They even put this cool candle since i didnt have one and i didnt even have to ask. Very professional and clean.Affordable foodand the views are so pretty. Comment: We were looking for a lunch spot on Steinway and came across this place. We were looking everywhere until we realized it was upstairs in a building. This spot has unexpectedly nice views of the city skyline. We order some sushi. All of them were delicious. The staff were very cordial and the place had good ambiance. They even have a spot to go outdoors into something like a roof/veranda area. Definitely would come back again.

Comment: A rooftop Sushi restaurant with 360 views of the city.When we arrived the establishment was rather empty; we were seated indoors because it was a bit chilly that evening. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating on the roof.The sushi is fresh and delicious. The drinks were pretty strong and the wait staff was incredibly attentive. Within a hour the establishment was packed with people.The music selection was redundant and they should diversify their selections.The establishment is great for date nights, with friends, co-workers and family.They do have a robotic waiter which will bring your food out when they are busy.Four stars were awarded because the bathroom wasn’t as clean and we were hoping to be seated outdoors in their igloo’s. Nonetheless we will come back to try other menu items and to be seated outdoors.

Comment: The food was great along with the prices. We got the Tempura Sampler, Sushi for 2 along with the Luna Roll. Everything was delicious and the staff were really friendly. It was also cool to see one of those service robots since I had only seen those on social media. The cocktails are also all $14, and they keep their special rolls at a consistent price of $18. A great experience with good views (second floor, can see the city from there) and I will definitely go back during the summer to eat outside on their rooftop balconies!

This is such a great spot, its perfect for a cute date, or even great to come with a bunch of friends and enjoy the view outdoors or indoors. Our server struggled a little bit but didn’t mess up our experience. We ordered the Yellowtail Jalapeño to start (SO GOOD), had the Manhattan and Spicy Mama and then the Shrimp Pad Thai. Drinks are good and affordable, variety of beers, cocktails, sake hot and cold, I had a Lucky Lychee w/ tequila instead of vodka and it was tasteful. The Kumamoto Oyster 🦪 is something that you should try, youre going to want 10 after the first one. The long list of SUSHI AND SASHIMI A LA CARTE gave me a hard time choosing but they have combos including both which made my options easier including my favorites octopus 🐙 and white tuna. From the CHEF SPECIAL ROLLS go for Lady Gaga, you cant go wrong with that name. I didnt have room for dessert so I decided to have Jalapeno Ja which was amazing but Ill try it w/ mezcal next time.

Comment: The restaurant is located on the rooftop of an office like building. Very weird entrance, but there is a sign outside for you to locate. You need to take the elevator up to the top floor where you will be seated either outdoor or indoor. They have a couple of bubble like tents outside to block the wind, but depending on how many people are in your party, you might need to share. We didnt get the bubble, but our spot wasnt too windy or cold. The view was nice and you can see Manhattan.We ordered the Luna, Spiderman, and Lobster special rolls, eel avocado and spicy tuna roll, and a chicken ramen. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Prices werent bad considering the view!

Comment: Great view from Luna Bistro & Lounge Rooftop!Outstanding sushi, my favorite was the Lady Gaga Roll. It was so good, I didnt stop eating, and for that reason, there are no photos of it... Lol. I wish they had more drinks options, but overall its a great place to have a nice meal and admire sunsets.

Comment: Firstly, I want to thank them for staying open during this difficult time. Ive been looking for good sushi for the past month and I am so grateful to have found this place!! I was skeptical at first when I was browsing online because I thought this place was selling the ambiance rather than their food; but boy, I was so wrong. After trying not-so-good sushi from a couple of restaurants near me, I am so relieved to have found this restaurant. This is also within a short driving distance. I can only speak for the Japanese part of the menu. I ordered 3 rolls and a sushi lunch. The fish was high quality and fresh, which attest to the standards they hold even during this time. They also offer a full menu! I just cant rave enough about this place! They have gained a local customer today!

My fave place to enjoy Japanese cuisine. That also host parties.Beautiful views from the roof. Even in winter, you can go out n have your personal heated dome that you are still able to see thru (bring blankets not sure if they have available)

Comment: Beautiful scenery both inside & out. I requested to sit on the rooftop & they accommodated even though I arrived 20 minutes late if my reservation. The staff is very attentive & friendly. They have soft mellow music playing not too loud to interrupt private conversation but at the right volume to vibe to. I am a huge fan of sushi in general... only thing I wasnt completely moved by, it was just ok however the chicken teriyaki was delish! I def do recommend this place, overall it was a pleasure!

The restaurant is on the top floor of a six story building and has a very good view of Manhattan from both inside the restaurant and outside on their terrace. Too cold to dine outside but you could still walk out to enjoy the view. The staff was great and very attentive. They were also happy to answer any questions we had. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and my wife had the Rib Eye steak. Both were cooked perfectly and presented well. We will definitely be going back to have their Sushi the next time as their list was extensive and many of the rolls sounded very good. A great place to eat in Astoria!

Comment: I am a frequent visitor to Luna, mainly so far for drinks. I love the view from the roof lounge and this winter theyve added heated igloos. Great idea. You can still enjoy the Manhatten skyline at night and not freeze your butt off. They have 2 decks and once the weather gets warmer, the upper deck will be opened. I can hardly wait.
