Comment: I like a lot of things from here. Their poke bowls are pretty good and I like their tacos. However the last time I had them they were a bit dry because it was missing sauce. Food is still pretty good and arrives quickly when you order.

Comment: I found this hidden gem being in the local area and I am so excited I did. Its such a cute spot and everything I had was great. I came with my son and he also enjoyed everything. So definitely kid friendly. My favorite was the Coconut Bubble Tea. We ordered the Alaska Roll, Spicy Crab Meat Roll, Shrimp Tempura roll and a side of Teriyaki Chicken Roll. 10/10

Comment: I just moved in down the street. For me, one of the selling points of the apartment was its proximity to Makana. I had the Kalua pork, and that joint smacked.Negative note: the portion size on the spam misubi was a HUGE miss. The rice to spam to seaweed ratio was really off.

Comment: This was for takeout at first, but after seeing how very well presented & packaged it was, I couldn’t wait. I had to dive right in and let me tell you this exceeded my expectations! Best sushi spot in El Barrio, fairly priced, staff are super friendly, the food is incredible and tastes very authentic! I’ll be back FOR SURE!

Comment: The restaurant was clean and staff were nice. My daughter and I ordered the tuna poke and it was fresh. My husband doesn’t eat fish and he ordered the spam sushi and the tots. He enjoyed the tots and the spicy sauces (though would have preferred it without the pork) and I tasted the spam and thought it was fun.

I went there for a casual dinner with my wife and appreciated the fast counter service.Its a small place, but we decided to eat there which turned out to be quite nice. I got an order of the Musubi which was delicious (I know: SPAM and delicious in the same sentence? you have to try it to understand, I promise). I also had the house noodles which was excellent.Ill definitely be going back and including it in my normal rotation. Next time Ill try some of their delicious looking sushi options.

Comment: We ate lunch here. The sushi overall was good a bit heavy on the rice but that is easy to fix. They use a spicy mayo for their spicy tuna which is always something we enjoy. The katsu chicken bento was good and large enough to split. Good place to stop for food on your way to Costco.
