Comment: I got the Spicy Chicken Katsu Sandwich for $15, enough to feed 2, it’s a delicious Chicken Katsu Cutlet sandwich, with an EXTRA spicy dry rub, pickles, pickled onions and spicy mayo. A delicious crispy juicy HOT experience of a cheat meal. In my opinion best Chicken Sandwich in NYC. I couldnt leave the joint without my fix of Japanese condiments and ice cream.

Comment: Great food. I got the breakfast burrito and spicy katsu sandwich. Burrito was good, but I wish it was made to order. The spicy katsu sandwich was awesome. Perfect level of heat. Definitely will be back if in the area.

Comment: Mama Yoshis is the best! We grab lunch at least once a week, their specials are awesome but my go-to is the cauliflower katsu, and my partners is the curry chicken katsu. The portions are so large that we often save half for later snacking. We also LOVE their home-made onigiri, and pickles with wakame! Last, our pup adores Mamas treats (including a doggy-sized onigiri--shhhh)!

Comment: Found this hidden gem on my walks with Romeo. The owners are so sweet and always give him a treat. The food thooooo...they make musubi the right way!!! First the spam I cooked to a crisp and they also actually use furikake which is like essential in the flavor comp. No thanks midtown 🙄 Id rather eat here.(Pic is the spam grilled cheese 🤤)

Comment: Do you live in Ridgewood? No? Do you need to travel 35 plus minutes for this chicken sandwich? Yes. The white meat breast is perfectly fried and crisp (and the size of a foot) on a small potato bun. Combined with slaw, house made mayo and sweet bbq sauce this just might be the best chicken sando in NYC right now. The vibe gives 711 but it’s Japanese snacks and drinks. Would give extra stars for the v friendly staff!

Comment: The spicy katsu caught me off guard because of how good it is -- well-seasoned and juicy, not sloppy. Despite appearances, it wasnt too difficult to eat.The Spam breakfast burrito is another favorite. This one does not have much seasoning or sauce, so you can choose to let the natural salty/greasy Spamness come through alone or load it up with your favorite hot sauce to give it more bite. Its a fatty though and can easily be shared.

Comment: I went on their soft launch and everything was delicious, and its only gotten better since. The chicken sandwiches are huge and delicious. The spam grilled cheese is the ultimate comfort food and so good. And Im picky about egg salad but theirs is so good! Truly never had anything bad from there and theyre always brining new stuff in so its exciting everytime you go in because what new yummy treat will you discover!
