Of course you hope for the best, but understandably, ordering sushi at 10:45pm, I was expecting much. This place exceeded my expectations with flying colors. This was my first experience but it will not be my last. I cant wait to order another time when I can truly sit down and enjoy it when Im not just grabbing lunch for work.The portion was small, but perfect for us who are all on diets and the prices were excellent. They had also ran out of Miso soup, again not an issue considering the hour of our order. But they threw in a free salad to make it all better. Which the salad was also great BTW. I cant wait to order again. Sry, no pictures to post, we were too busy quickly enjoying our food.

The staff are as well-presented as the dishes which were so good that I forgot all about photographing them.If you are in the area, this place is a must visit for quality Japanese Fusion style food. Usually on the weekends, the place is packed. My buddy already was seated and having spicy edamame, but they were not that spicy at all. Was able to order sone really good sake that Ed recommended. Wow it was good. We ordered the jalapeno yellowtail which was nice, and a Chilean sea bass. We pit sone brown rice in the sea bass sauce and pow, it was delish. We had another sake which was a little drier but easily drinkable. We topped that off with green tea ice cream and we were ready for sleep.As i said, i gave it a 5, because of our waiter who as far as concerned made it enjoyable and making good suggestions. I would definitely return, but not at peak times!!

Comment: One of my faves, Food is very good, 9/10 on the scale of these 50% off fake Japanese sushi spots. Squid is not sushi/sashimi is not their strong suit. Skip their squid and you will be happy.When I order take out I always try to order from the Russian girl. Shes knows her job well and NEVER messed up my order. Others always forget my extra soy sauce or a spoon or whatever but shes always on point (I order from here a lot). My wife gets jealous when I compliment how good this girl does her job probably because shes attractive but doesnt matter if someone is cute, good work deserves praise. Who else runs out in the freezing cold to bring me my order if I cant find a parking spot or got my kids in the car, voluntarily, I dont even ask her to do it she just knows. Thats great customer service... Someone should give her a raise and promotion.If dining in, best waiter is the guy that reminds me of Slater from Saved By the Bell. Hes really good, on point to make sure your glass of water, green tea or whatever youre drinking is never empty. Everyone else is ok, they are not as attentive.

Comment: Another one of my favorite spot for many years. The freshest sushi in Brooklyn. Ive moved to Far Rockaway and have still drove past many sushi restaurants to go there. Might be a while for a table on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They do need more servers which is where they are lacking.

Comment: Possibly the cheapest sushi in the entire city (for the exception of hole-in-the-wall places that will leave you with food poisoning). However I recommend to stick to sushi/sashimi and rolls (their specialty, really) and avoid the dishes from the fancy menu - those are not worth their cost. Additionally stick to green tea - the soda is in the cans and there are obviously no refills. They also used to have great tempura ice cream, but its all soggy nowadays, so stick to the sushi/sashimi and rolls!

Comment: Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday and discovered amazing Japanese food. Everything, just everything here was extremely good and a very quick service. Had a Summer Roll and it was really good. Their green tea is awesome to go along your meal, try it.

Comment: Very tasty food. I dont particularly like Japanese, and this is just one of 2 sushi places (of maybe 15 we tried) that I enjoyed. Service is fine - from ok service by a team of young staff to an excellent service by a more experienced waitor. Nice presentation as well. Highly recommended.

Comment: They always serve fresh sushi, which is something that not every sushi place can be proud of, and i have been checking most sushi places in the area. They can do little better with their customer service, and especially with their delivery, but still, they worth it.I have been here many times, and i am planning to come back in the future. And the prices are ok too, which make it my ideal place for sushi. Very good appetizers, and when they are not too busy they can be very friendly.

Comment: The food is great-fresh and delicious! I have a dinner just few hours ago, and I already want to come back! Oh this mango shrimp!!! Mochi Ice cream(green tea taste) is something special! The atmosphere and the soft light is very cosy. Ill be back for sure!!! Highly recommend!
